Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

After thinking about it for quite a while, I decided to take the risk and give her one more week to show her full potential. The trichomes continue to mature and the aroma keeps getting richer, making the wait even more exciting. The buds are getting so heavy now that some branches are starting to lean into the net. Without it, I'm pretty sure a few of them would either bend over or even snap under their own weight. Now it's all about keeping a close eye on everything and hoping the extra patience pays off.

Week 16 – Close to the Finish Line 🏁🌾 Week 16 and we’re clearly heading into the finale. Harvest is very close now. The smell is absolutely insane — lemon, sweet candy, bonbon vibes, bright and loud. The buds are looking fat, heavy, and fully developed. One thing still bugs me a bit: the front right plant in the 15L pot. That one turned out absolutely amazing — a really special pheno. Strong structure, beautiful buds, insane aroma. It honestly hurts that I didn’t take a backup or a cut from her. Lesson learned the hard way. Still, I’m very happy overall. D43. The first day in the second week of flower, everything is good in the tent. She might be small and stunted, but she looks healthy, vibrant, and strong. ------------------------------ D45. There's nothing to report, really. She is quietly doing her thing, and there isn't much for me to do at this point. The mushroom kit seems to have just died after harvest, and today, I noticed some mold and removed it immediately. It was a fun experiment that didn't work out as I'd hoped. Oh, well :) ------------------------------ D47. Zzzzzzzz... flower is so dull as there's nothing to do but wait. ------------------------------ D49. There's not much to report at the end of the second week of flower. Yesterday, the entire tent was without power, so there was no light or exhaust for five hours. Ugh! Fortunately, I was making some compost tea and discovered the lack of power when watering. I gave the girl 2.5 liters of compost tea and humic acid @ pH 6.6. ------------------------------

Cream Cookies is getting close to harvest. I did feed her again this week with Recharge only. Next weekend I plan on starting to flush. One of the lower side branches broke accidentally when I was moving things around in the tent. There were only a couple of small buds on the branch, but I dried it out to give her a taste. I can definitely taste the cream overtones, which is very nice. And I got a nice buzz off of it too. Really looking forward to the properly harvested and cured results! 👍

My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. Medical Mass is a new medical cannabis strain with a high CBD content and a low THC level that provides good medical properties without a strong psychoactive effect. This is a mostly indica plant that contains 40% sativa and 60% indica. Critical Mass and CBD rich strain were crossed to create this amazing valuable variety. The plant suits both for indoors and outdoors, for beginner and experienced growers. The strain grows up to 60 - 100 cm tall and produces good yields for such height of about 500 - 550 gr/m2. The plant demonstrates great results even in small spaces. The flowering time takes only 7-8 weeks and the harvest comes in late September. Medical Mass is the great choice for each medical user due its small height, ease of growing, fast flowering and of course great medical potency. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 19 Day 7 Now I definetly have realized the importance of right pH-level, my old pH-meter clearly didn't work. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Since I'm still a novice growing cannabis I learn new things everyday, and hopefully the next round will be more or less perfect - perfection needs practice.

Day 35 End of Week 5 Update: Had a bad week worrying about humidity. My dehumidifier broke so I was stuck until payday and humidity was out of control, night time into the the high 70's and mid 60s during the day. But despite that, thankfully there was no issues that came about like PM or funky mold or anything. New Dehumidifier is in and all is looking good Gorilla Cookies is definitely stretching out more than Strawberry G. The Strawberry Gorilla has more of a bushy tendency. I'm hoping she's just a late stretcher so we'll see 🤞 I started light defoliating and so far so good. I don't take out much and with the little I have trimmed there has been no sign of growth pause or stunting at all, they seem to be going strong so far. Happy Growing y'all!

Flowering day 35 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey everyone 😀. Both phenotypes continue to develop very nicely :-). The buds are getting bigger and bigger and the sweet smell starts to waft through the tent 😍. It's very much in the Skunk direction 👍. It was watered twice this week with 1.2 l per watering per plant. The tent was cleaned and everything checked for health 👍. Been a busy week getting the new setup going. She has been going really well , first week of flower , interested to see how she goes. She is a nice little plant problem free so far.

Did her first defoliation today. Going to put her outside to flip to flower. I have a nice sunny spot. I also want to see how resistant she is.

Stacking and packing on big time. Unfortunately, she's had a feed stress somewhere (I'm assuming) and started to nanner in a few spots. I've caught it pretty early on so I'll be gambling with the room now that I've removed the affected sites. I guess we'll see what happens. Wouldn't be devastated if this one passed it's love on 😂🤦‍♂️🙏 Mid week - Found one more bud with nanners so it was removed, likely missed it the first time. Other than that, looking good 💪👍
