Ladies got cut down on day 61, the gorilla girl wasn’t the biggest but she has super frosty, tight little buds should be a great smoke! The CM on the other hand had some huge buds & was probably the frostiest plant of all, she smells amazing as well🔥😋 will post a harvest update as soon as these ladies get dried & trimmed! ***** Week 6 December 23 to 29, 2020 - Days 36 to 42 from germination ***** Week 5 was certainly a stretch week and she grew tall baby👊👍 She has been doing well with her crack on the main stem from early on and when I pulled her out you could hardly tell where it was. Perfect......because she has been growing hard she is getting a little uneven in her canopy but I have been watching how hard I pull on her main stem. Correcting the situation as best I can now but with only in 3 gal pots its tough to get out further on her long branches and tie them down. Could get creative with Bamboo and creating ties but those suckers are eye pokers and I don't use them too often. Will just deal with the potential difference in height and keep pulling her harder now that I can. Silica increasing this week as well now that we close to the end of being able to shape her lower branches. She needs the strength now to defend any potential pests and to growth thick stocks so she can support the bud weight. Since she has been going hard it was time to pull her out and start trimming some lower branches now. Yes she is an auto and many say to never remove leaves, never mind branches, but I do and want to allow her to focus on top buds. I will accept a potential decrease in yield but since I am already performing LST and working with more than one top.....a gain in one area can be offset in another without too much pain😜👍 Stripped quite a few leaves from this girl. She is thick at the bottom and in the last week her node spacing has gone crazy on the 8 main branches😲 I will trim the bottom as it just doesn't get the light intensity down below......even with opening the canopy up lots those sites are still 12" to 18" lower than the tops at this point. Her side branching is really thick and looking awesome. She is showing signs of wanting to grow some big buds😀 She will be able to support the weight at least.........really nice selection Fast Buds!!!!!!! Little more detail........ Dec 23/20, Day 36 - Feeding day today. Continuing with first weeks flower feed of 2ml/L. - 2L feed with Micro, Bloom, Magnifical, AstroFlower, VeloKelp, Natures Candy @ 2ml = 800ppm and 5.8pH. - add microbes again on the next feeding!!!! Dec 24/20, Day 37 - She was given 1L of feed left from yesterday (both her and Orange Sherbet.......J47 is on a two day dry.) - Her color is good but still quite yellow in the new growth points. - pull out tomorrow and clean up lower growth and check runoff numbers. Dec 25/20, Day 38 - 2L full feed again with the same 2ml/L feed as earlier in the week for all the autos. Added AN Rhinoskin as well for silica. - 1150ppm and 5.9pH going in.........pots were really dry and perfect pretty well. - Runoff was 925ppm and 6.1pH.........I can live with that at week 2 flower😁😁 Dec 26/20, Day 39 - 2L full feed again. Had mixed up 12L yesterday. - Added 2ml/L of Microbial Mass and Piranha = 1200ppm and 5.9pH. - The girls needed their microbe allotment as we get closer to the end. - Bacteria added to help keep some of the nutrients in the media as she finishes. - next watering is more of plain water and add Terpinator. Dec 27/20, Day 40 - pots are light again in the afternoon. - 2L watering with Magnifical, Rezin, and Microbes @ 2ml. Terpinator @ 3ml = 400ppm and 5.8pH - She taking the nutrients but backing off the ppm on this watering a bit. - noticing some clawing in the girl.....start of some excess nitrogen or environmental??? Keeping an eye on it👌 Dec 28/20, Day 41 - the girl is hungry so feeding again today with full nutrients. - 2.5L watering today, stepping up from 2L volume. - Full line of Remo, all 6 parts plus silica again @ 2ml = 1150ppm and 5.9pH Dec 29/20, Day 42 - another feeding in the morning today. Pot was really light. - 2L in the morning giving with same feed of 1150ppm and 5.9pH. - her colour change in the leaves is really popping out now. Bud is all purple but the leaves are turning purple as well. - noticing leaf colour is getting even to the other girls for green. No need to compensate any deficiency anymore......in fact watch over feeding now😀 - in the evening, 12 hours later, pots were pretty light so gave another 1.25L of feed that was left over for 16L mixture yesterday. - she had a total of 3.5L feed today......water tomorrow and not feed. She is doing very well at the start of the week. Canopy height is good but her node spacing has me concerned a bit. Looks like we are going to get some beautiful colours from this girl as her buds are purple already. Leaf colour already has a yellow huge to her........Purple Lemonade baby......on point!!!!.......nice work Fast Buds.......this strain is making a lot of growers go, DAMN she's freaking awesome😁😁😁

This week has gone fine except for one thing which I’ll come to later on. Still stretching, canopy par level is 900 on average and I don’t have any way of getting the lights up further. Hoping the intense light will slow the stretch down a bit but we will have to wait and see. Worst case I’ll have to dim the lights down a bit. That leads me onto the mystery of this week. The nearly dead plant. I have no idea why it has gone so limp. You can kind of see on the photo lapse how quickly it collapses. Incase it’s some kind of disease I’ll give it another day in there. If it doesn’t recover I’ll have to pull her out and try to train the other plants over her empty spot so I don’t waste any light. EC is around 1.2-1.5 atm, the highest dose I’ll be giving them will be week 4 and 5 of flower when the buds seem to do the most weight gains (visually). Canopy is actually quite even if you overlook the hole in the canopy, maybe a couple inches between highest and lowest. Anyway, thanks for checking in guys, if anyone has any thoughts/comments about the dead plant let me know as I’m struggling to find answers online. 😊

2/20 - finally got all of the top spread out across the edge of the pot. Also defoliated all of the older fan leaves. I'm not sure if I need to take off the lower shoots that are starting around each top... 2/21 - flush feeding, tops are starting to point up except for one weakling which I took the binds off of to let her get her strength back 2/23 - things are looking great so far, the one top that was weak regained strength and is back to bindings. This is the cleanest training I've done so far I think! 2/25 - week 9 nute feeding, same as week 8 minus the Kelp and the normal amount of Terpinator. I will be taking off some shoots starting on each top.

It was my first grow so I know my next crack at this strain would be much better. I didn't have too many issues or any crazy setbacks. It was smooth sailing for a while and then had some nute/deficiency issues but it was later in flower. I did move them into a bigger tent with a far better light but not until the last 3 weeks of flower. So I know I'll have to grow this again in the future and compare!

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

Had some light potassium deficiency and continued magnesium deficiency despite adding the calmag so I doubled up on both of them. Defoliated, topdressed, backed the lights off because one of them is singed.

Let’s Go Day 81!!!! This week went real great 2 Ogreberrys are hanging to dry and also the Bruce Banner is too after there 48 hr of darkness! The 3 other Ogreberrys began flush on Monday so finish out this week of flush and one more week of flush after that an they will get the chop too!
