Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Hello Diary, The first week of vegetation on my small farm has ended and so far everything is going well. In order to better remember the arrangement of the plants, they are arranged alphabetically from left to right. On the left is Apollo, in the middle is the Milky Way and on the right is Titan. Milky Way F1 is developing and growing nicely. It grew 7 cm and I am generally satisfied. What worries me a little is discoloration, i.e. light spots on the leaves. I'm not sure about the cause, but maybe it's genetics. I will see and follow what happens. Watering was not frequent, considering the size of the pots, there is a lot of moisture in the ground, so I watered it every 5 days with a liter and a half of water. In the first week, I didn't add any supplements, considering that I mixed a lot of supplements into the soil. Conditions on the farm are satisfactory. The humidity is slightly higher than 50% and the temperature is around 25 degrees. The light is set to 18/6 from the first day of vegetation. I took pictures on the first and last day of the first week, just to see the difference in a week. Here's a quick recap of the week. 30/04/2023 - Day 1. Watering and photography. Officially, the first day of the growing season. Prepared 5 liters of water, lowered the pH. at 6.0 and with that amount watered the Milky Way F1 and its two roommates with about the same amount of water. Milky Way F1 - 4 cm 05/05/2023 - Day 6. Watering. The procedure is the same as 5 days earlier. 06/05/2023 - Day 7. Photography. End of the first week of vegetation. The 2nd week was great for the plants. Specially Banana Purple Punch and Forbidden Runtz They stretched and grow without no problem. I'm excited for week 3. I LST them, I did some defoliation and they got fed with Goldleaf feterlizer and I added mycos chum and cal-mag to the mix. Let see how they do.

What makes an outdoor grow successful? Is it dodging a hurricane and pulling pounds? Is it avoiding the sticky fingwrs of AstroThieves? Is it looking wpm and botrysis in the eye and telling em they stand no chance? Is it defeating all cockshit fucker parasites? Is it finding solitude and happiness in making something work? Something thats yours and only yours? Is it distraction from reality? Is it trolling the GD platform as the current presidenr and not growing at all? Dunno. See my solo

They took a while to all pop up, but we are on the way now!! Got them back in the tent as new grow space is still very cold.

Hey Gang Update!!!! SOO this FOOP nutrient line is AMAAZZZZINGGG!!!! SERIOUSLY impressed by the growth and health of these girls, if you don't know about FOOP yet GET ON IT!!!! OTHER THAN THAT... they look great going to switch to larger grow pot 5 Gal and go from there!!!

This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, so the weakest looking plant is the LST only on GSC. ZThe strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.

It's been a smooth grow year ..I am only using flora nova ...and pro tekt. Silica ..water is from local tap ..filtered with rv filter. There is movement og ,fatso bx1 x wilson, sunset sherbert x Sunday driver x Natrual Born Killer strains ....thanks for viewing

Week 11 and the buds are getting bigger. The tent still has a softer smell to it, not overwhelming at all. The buds are growing but still look like they need to plump. Tons of white hairs and frost developing. I’m still feeding nuts since it looks like it has some time still.

Day 21. Plan to hit em with a good defol and one more top dress. I can push them a little more as I have no burning what so ever. As of now, no issues, just a few gnats. Day 22- thinned them out just a little, no major defol as of now. Mbrxgp so far smells lemon/citrus on the leaf rub. Nothing from the PR

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our "Grandaddy Purple" from Blimburn Seeds! 8/24: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. A flush is recommended after week 3 in the Fox Farm Feeding chart. I figure the recommended flush will do some good considering I have a lot of coco in the mix and there are small amounts of salt fertilizer in my schedule. She is really starting to do some stretching and she has an abundance of growing shoots. She has a few leaves that look textured or "crinkled". I tried doing some searches and not sure if this is due to a virus or some other factor. She is center in the tent and the only plant being grown in a fabric pot. She has also been vegging longer than any of the other plants in the garden. She was a survivor from previous run when I almost killed all my plants (did kill one) trying to kill so spider mites. This is the only plant presenting these abnormalities. I gave a lot of detail about the abnormal leaves because I am hoping someone may be able to help me troubleshoot. 8/28: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. It’s day 33’from seed. All of the plants are really healthy. The plants have a really great root system at this point… I am currently slowly moving the light intensity up to the veg area. Now that are in a groove they are about to explode… I’m hoping I can flip the plants to flower in 1 weeks but I’m thinking I will wait to weeks and let them get a little larger. The plants are just now starting to look visually different next weeks update I will be ababoe to go into the visual differences, they are just not that extreme yet to really talk to much about.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 90 with lots of sunshine. I gave them 2.5 gallons of water per pot. Day 2 we had lots of sunshine and a high temperature of 91°F. I watered twice today about 2-2.5 gallons each time. Day 3 we had high temperatures of 86°F and mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5 gallons per pot. Day 4 we had mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 88°F. I watered about 2.5 gallons from the water hose. I added 50ml of Ferrous Sulfate top dressed to each pot. I topped these pots off with premixed soil like I used in the pots at planting Week 1. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 88°F with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2-2.5 gallons once today. Day 6 we had high temperature of 89 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5-3 gallons per pot. Day 7 we had high temperature of 91 with mostly sunny skies. I watered 2.5-3 gallons per pot. This week was a success. The plant didn't gain much additional height this week. The tallest was 54". I added a little iron, and the soil I added had premixed nutrients. Next week I'll most likely add some blood meal to the watering to boost the veg. They're loving these hot summer days.
