Day 56: Nothing special this week other then I found out another reason for the stretching of the plants. I don't know where i was of what i was doing but suddenly it came into my mind. Well normaly i use seperate veg and flower basic nutrients. This time, I used a new basic nutrient i never used before. This basic nutrient has veg and flower nutrients for the whole cycle. So the growth of the plants has been stimulating for to long. This is fun when you grow huge plants for a long time, not if you plan to only veg for 3-4 weeks, 1-2 weeks preflower with maybe 6 to 9 weeks of flowering.

44oz of plant food mix is given to 5 plants (3- Colombian Gold, 2- Grandaddy Purple). All 3 of the Alcapulco Gold plants are still receiving pH balanced water- no nutrients. They’re measuring 10” tall. Colombian Gold and Grandaddy Purple measurements range from: 12.5”-18.5”

We reached the end of week 15. I did not feed her anymore and gave her only water adjusted to ph 7. I think she is ready. The sidebuds got about 20% amber trichomes. Did not expect that they would have the same amount as the mainbuds, probably the extra light on the sides is doing its job. This plant has the biggest load of thrips and larvae on all leaves. My girlfriend bought directly some predatory mites from the internet to get this massive shit out of my tent. The buds are looking quite ok and she is still growing a little bit. I hope she will also tank this shit away so good as possible!

Plants are loving their new pots and are drinking a lot - 500 mL each per water, 2x daily, which is enough for some runoff. Had to turn the light down to 75% to maintain lower heat since it gets very hot here in the summer.

I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

This girl has been growing out of control in my tent I don't see her flowering very much not sure if she's a auto or a photo Plant i will continue to have an eye on he for now I had to tie her to a corner of the tent in order for her not to take over the entire space and is a plant that grows vigorously strong and it has a lovely smell White Widow skunk . The End is near. Can’t wait to harvest and dry them. Next 2 Weeks I use to flush them. I think then they’re ready. I’m very proud of the purple BigBud. She’s purely looking incredible. What do you think ?

So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

22-10-2025 I was cutting of rotting buds three days in a row, she is deteriorating very vast in this rainy weather. I decided to harvest some branches, washed them and hung them to dry. At least I will have something from this plant. Tomorrow I will see what to do with the rest of the plant. Wait some more and cry everyday while cutting rotting buds or just cut up the whole thing and be done with it.

01/06/2022 Should've gotten more pots!

Last week I started applying Flowermind Brazilian organic fertilizer. The girls have had good growth in the last few days. With the exception of the youngest plant, I think it could be an effect of the soil having less aeration. When I started this cultivation, the amount of material for the soil was not enough for the 4 pots so the fifth pot had slightly different components in terms of proportion, having less peat and perlite than the first ones.
