Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! Day 1 of week 7 in flower. Yesterday I opened the tent and for the first time thought to myself " Wow that's a big plant!". My grow tent is 1 meter by 1 meter and the plant is touching all sides. I am now wishing I had more wattage of lights. Day time Temps are 72 and humidity is around 35. My current LED wattage is 277 from the wall, let's see what it can produce. Time until harvest is 4 ish weeks and dropping. Judging by the speed at which the pistils are changing colors I am doubtful it's going to take 3.5 weeks to ripen. I am in no hurry, quality is my biggest concern.

This 10gal reservoir has been a game changer!!! If you’ve been wasting/going through your nutrients fast I suggest you get one of these and in the comments add Midnitrtoker from IG sent me. Trying to get sponsored and give one of these systems away!! Like I said i filled up the res with 10gal and it has gone 4weeks!!! Today I empty out what’s left and change the feed to flower. That means we up the EC a tad and let it go. If 10gal lasted up 4 weeks we will be using 5gal this time and hope it lasts us the first 3 weeks of flower. I have not experienced any deficiencies the tips are turning purple but that’s because my night temps drop to the low 70s even to 69F. I took cuts of these girls again. Next round we will be using Floraflex or Athena. Same environment different nutrients we will see which company gives us the biggest harvest. See you all at the end of week 1 Flower.

This plant streched a lot the last week, she's showing quite some 'white hairs' already and she's nice and green, the weather has been good these days, hopefully it stays like this 😁

It was a great and enjoyable experience. Although my light was low, I got a good result. My light was 120 watts. In the first week of growth, my plant was uprooted It stopped growing for a week and then Powerful continued to grow

☘️17/11 - La semilla estuvo por 24hs en agua para hidratarse. ☘️18/11 - Puse a germinar la semilla en papel humedo, el 21 de noviembre germino, aprox tenia 3cm. ☘️25//11 - Ya salió el plantin. ☘️27/11 - Ya tiene 3 días de vida, se encuentra perfecta. ☘️Voy a dejarla una semana en Enraizamiento, asi las raices se desarrollan un poco mas antes de pasarla a una maceta de 10L. ☘️Los productos que voy a estar utilizando en todo el cultivo son los de Advance Nutrients. ☘️En crecimiento voy a dejarla 3 semanas con 18/6 de luz. Well its a late update from down under.. and its been shit. No other words for it. After all that un seasonal tropical rain a month back my Caramelo was hating life with water logged roots and was wilting badly for more days than id like, she recovered just fine... or so I thought. Thats when I noticed the Spider mites and a small patch of mould rot on a pre flower bud, so I grabbed my trusty Lime Sulfur bottle and made up what I THOUGHT was my usual 1/2 strength mix to use.....But turns out due to a new smaller bottle and me using the wrong mix to start with (I normally use 1/2 the 30ml per lt mix for seedlings even on fully mature plants to avoid burning em, But I used the 50mls per ltr ratio at what I thought was 1/2 strength) AND my old bottle turns out to be 1.25ltrs and my new one was 750mls!! So long story finalized is I used 1.25 X the normal strength mix and burnt the shit out of ALL new shoots and pre flowers. Thus why im only posting a vid of the cat with the ZkittleZ who is loving life harder than any plant Ive had before -So will be focusing a bit more on her for a while now.

Hi people! who was surprised that I had to tie it?)) the buds are just huge! and already at this stage they are strong as stone! and they still keep growing! and yes! I also gave her overdrive !!!))) probably my favorite fertilizer! I love her effect! how it affects the buds! and how quickly you can see its effect. I'll show you Overdrive's work next week! if you haven’t dealt with this booster yet, you will be pleasantly surprised!

2/1 - 2/4: Flushed both MPP's on Monday and put the skinnier one in the dark Thursday night. Tomorrow is the end of the line for her. I'll probably let the big fat one go til next weekend. Watered the fat girl Friday. 2/8: The little one is hanging to dry now, and the bigger one is just getting water + liquid soil

08/18 - Transplanted from a 1 gallon pot to a 7 gallon - Topped all main COLAS - Tied dowm MAIN STEMS - Watering 1 gallon every 3 days - Clean water/nute feed overlapped 08/23 - Prepping the mother for first set of clones - 10 per gen - Started mist spraying for rapid root growth when clones are cut - Adding clonex root gel at cutting for clones😎

Last Nitrogen watering as the girls strech first 2 weeks of 12-12. Afterwards i will move to bloom furts. In the past week my 12hrs on was 20c of temp (i flower at night) so i lowered panels to keep Warmer room but in the next week i will have another heat wave so i expect night outside to be Arround 24-26c so we are cool with that for ideal room temp. Room is vastly being populated with the bush and exploding with greens. Streching happens massively more with hybridssativas to double themselves as indicas keep low And bushy. Regards

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!
