Once again these girls don’t really need much just watering when dry but other than that we are on cruise mode. I have been checking trichomes for about a week now and man is she almost there I should be giving them lights out with in another week or two can’t wait

Here we go, after 21 days of streching i make some defoliation and lolipoping, I break by the way one flower on the top what a mess of newbie 🙃 will not do it again. Thanks everyone

Plants with more direct UV showed much more purple across all 3 plants. The data shows that the number of terpenes in dried Cannabis flowers increases with a “No Red” light treatment for the final three days of production. Based upon these findings, we feel confident in recommending a spectrum control program that eliminates red light output from fixtures for the final 72 hours of the Cannabis flowering cycle. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give cannabis some of its most distinct aromas from citrus and berry, to more earthy tones. Many species of plants produce and emit terpenes in a diurnal, or daily cycle that is regulated by a complex web of signaling. There are also many plants that emit terpenes at night to attract nocturnal pollinators (Marinho et al., 2014346). Regardless of when the terpenes are produced or emitted, these processes are often dependent upon cues derived from natural light/dark cycles via a native circadian clock (Dudareva et al., 2004). Several light-sensitive pigments are involved in these processes of production and emission, and the different photoreceptors are dependent upon different wavelengths of light to be activated or deactivated. Emission of terpenes is a process that is entirely dependent upon phytochromes and red/far-red light cues in most plant species (Flores and Doskey, 2015). For example, repeated light/dark phytochrome signaling is necessary for the emission of terpenes in tobacco plants (Roeder et al., 2007). Based on previous findings, we hypothesized that a lack of red light and phytochrome-mediated light/dark signaling on the part of the plant is responsible for an increase in terpene content in cannabis. The plant continues to synthesize terpenes, but a lack of red light to trigger the Pr-Pfr shift results in a lack of terpene emission by the plant, thus causing the terpenes to accumulate in the maturing flowers. It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Experiments have been conducted in the open field and under greenhouse growing conditions with different levels of audible sound frequencies and sound pressure levels. Sound waves at 1 kHz and 100 dB for 1 h within a distance of 0.20 m could significantly promote the division and cell wall fluidity of callus cells and also significantly enhance the activity of protective enzymes and endogenous hormones. Sound waves stimulation could increase the plant plasma-membrane H+-ATPase activity, the contents of soluble sugar, soluble protein, and amylase activity of callus. Moreover, sound waves could increase the content of RNA and the level of transcription. Stress-induced genes could switch on under sound stimulation. Sound waves at 0.1–1 kHz and SPL of (70±5) dB for 3 h from plant acoustic frequency technology (PAFT) generator within a distance ranged from 30 to 60 m every other day significantly increased the yield of sweet pepper, cucumber and tomato by 30.05, 37.1 and 13.2%, respectively. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. Site is broken, can barely upload anything and it's sad because I'm really proud, of what we've achived here and i tought this may be the place to sahre it but it seems this palce is more for self promotions for brands and so on. regardless, with all the effort that it took to select pictures heres some of a PARTIAL harvest, i did not harvest the whole plant as the cannopy did not allow lower bud sites to have light and i mean, theres at least 700 grams more waiting from those 2 plants (and thatsd a low ball estimate), currently "only" harvested 672 grams from the top colas, and not all of them were chopped, left some of the auxiliary bud sites that the MASSIVE colas had, im honestly shoked at one of them that weighted on its own 145.4 grams, and still had 4 auxiliary bud sites that i decided to leave for them to rippen, alltogether pretty sure this cola wouldve been 250 g's with all the other bud sites that it developed. yesterday i decided to chop based on the fact that i felt nugs were moist and was afraid of them developing botrytis. none did and while im suspisicious on some of the nugs no definite answer as of right no nug shows it, but they were moist and better be safe than sorry, still would've given them another week if it was possible, but also i need GMO to rippen, so thats why i decided to do a stage chop, in one week will be chopping everything or maybe more, perhaps 2 weeks more, who knows now. one thing I know is that my house smells DANK, that it was 700 g's a partial harvest and that I still have more than half to chop and harvest, this will be plenty, im really happy with how they're turning out, ocne they dry I'll write here how they smoke and add some nug photos. THERES STILL WORK TO DO, THIS IS NOT OVER YET. and I'm all for it :)

Bonjour les amis. Après 10 jours d'absence, bonne surprise! Les fleurs ont pris du volume et l'odeur est plus forte et sucrée. Le stretch est bien terminé. J'ai arrêté les engrais, la led est toujours à 80%, dli ~35-40. Je vais libérer les 2 grandes de la lst dans la semaine qui arrive. La plus petite plante ne mesure que 16cm mais les têtes paraissent déjà plus chargée de résine. Je pense qu'elle sera prête avant les 2 autres. C'est la dernière ligne droite qui exige le plus de patience. À bientôt, profitez bien, M.

Starting to see the benefits from Topping last week definitely, when I first topped I panicked and thought what have I done. Also when I defoliated I did some more research. All In all I’m learning as each week goes by! Increased the ballast wattage to 1000W and terminated the Kush Berry also as it was interfering with my other 4 ( Temperature and space). Next week I’m going to add my SCRoG net. This is all new to me and I’ve never trained a plant before so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone

Well it finally happened, the girls have outgrown the 4x4! Was mid week and was having a hard time keeping humidity below 65%. Thought of defoliating, but can't keep doing that weekly or it will shock them sooner than later. So I decided to move the front left plant to the 3x3 under the Photontek SQ300W, giving the girls in the 4x4 some much needed breathing room. Set about retraining the plants to maximise space in the big tent, and then flattened out the lonely girl in the 3x3. Crazy enough the 4x4 still looks full by end of week, and the one by itself is getting close to filling the 3x3! This could be a pretty big grow by the time we finish 🤞. Have the solo plant running on the older Autopot valves with 6mm hose, and already had one clogging issue. Seems really early on, in past would take 2-3 weeks so thinking maybe I didn't have the lines 100% clean to start. Either way easy fix just blow out the clog and flush the lines with a liter or so and back in business. Always remember to flush the on/off valve as well as the main valve in the tray. Otherwise raised the lights in 4x4 to their max height (5" from roof) and took all the slack out of the cables to keep them off the lights. Adjusted the ties on last day of the week, but things seem pretty set now in the big tent so will just be widening out the lone girl once she grows a bit more. I'm sure by end of week that tent will be packed as well!

Had to go another week in veg but damn these plants look good! Transplanted 2 of the snowcandy late and put them in 5 gallon pots instead of 3 gallon and I’m using dry amendments for these 2. The other 4 will be fed liquid nutes. Switching to 12/12 next week!

Day 50 - All still ticking along nicely. Tank topped up the other night...think I am starting to see the 1st signs of Stretch, 1 week in to 12/12 (well, for the 1st few days it was more 12.25/11.75 but its adjusted now. Now just tucking and weaving the canopy and attempting to keep things even(ish). Refreshed the CO2 Milk Jug and thats about it for today. Enjoy the time lapse of last week (!st week of 12/12).
