Day 39 - Watered the Gold Leaf today by dunking it. 8.4 PH going in and 6.3 for the runoff. The PPM was only 500 or so, but I'm guessing it is because of the dunk. The soil test was still 5.3 on one side and up to 5.7 on the other. I checked right away so maybe it has gone up. GDP #1 seems to need water, but GDP #2 will need another day. The Gold Leaf is reaching the 25" limit for flipping, but the net should help show things down a little so the other 2 can catch up.
Day 40 - Both GDPs needed water and got dunked. PH was 8.5 and the runoff showed 6.2. A soil PH check came back at 5.9. I am hoping that the small jump will help. I realized I would not be able to test the runoff with the stand and saucers I was using so i got new ones. This lowered my potential flipping height, but with the SCROG I am hoping to keep the goldleaf down long enough for the GDP to catch up.
Day 41 - The Gold leaf is tall enough to bend down and the GDPs are almost there. I'm anxious to see how many bud sites I can get through the net before I defoliate and flip to flower. I don't think I should wait much longer with 3 plants in a 2x4 and the gold leaf getting close to 25 inches.
Day 42 - 2x4 is too crowded so decided to order a 5x5 and move them over before I flip to flower. The gold Leaf is dry again. Watering with 3 gallons to try and get the PH up and the PPM down. The PH of the water I am using is 7.5
Day 43 - Watered Gold Leaf today. Going in the PH was 7.5 and the PPM 250. The runoff showed 5.9 and the PPM was 870. The soil test after work showed on one side as 6.1 and the other 6.0. Getting better, but I want to be closer to 6.5 before I flip them. The 5x5 tent will give me the room needed for that.
Day 44 - Watered the GDPs today. The water going in had a PH of 7.5. The PPM was around 255. The runoff had a PH of 6.2 and a PPM of over 850. Both were very similar. At least one more week without nutes unless there is a problem.
The ladies all seem to be showing a bit of magnesium deficiency. I started using a foliar spray for now with 1ml cal mag in 500ml of water with a PH of 6.5. Might need to add cal-mag to the next watering. The 2x4 is way too crowded with the 3 of them in there together. Hopefully the new tent shows up soon.
Day 45 - The Gold Leaf is getting worse. It looks like lockout again. The other side of the spectrum this time. Probably too alkaline... 😒 From now on I will be feeding with water with a PH of 6.5. For now I added a few drops of micro and bloom to the foliar spray and applied it once more. It seems like it will need more water in a day or two so that should help.

Los cogollos continúan aumentando de densidad y comienzan a mostrar su forma definitiva. Los cálices se hinchan con mayor rapidez, la producción de resina alcanza un nivel muy elevado y el aroma se vuelve mucho más intenso y complejo. En muchas genéticas empieza a apreciarse una ligera reducción en la aparición de nuevos pistilos.
La planta mantiene un consumo elevado de agua y nutrientes, aunque el crecimiento vertical ya ha finalizado por completo. El amarilleo progresivo de las hojas más viejas puede hacerse más evidente mientras la energía se dirige al engorde y la maduración de las flores.

Ayyy, look at her growing! i was away for a weekend and look at this jump.
The first broken off stem attached itself after taping it. the Second branch i broke off, i tried to attach a cutting from another branch, fixated it with tape and a metal clamp. Which did not work but i think it's because i let too much green on it, so i dried up before it could fix itself. MAYBE. It's just my observation but i want to try every method i can think of, trying to attach a broken off stem again, and I will be successful finding the best technique for me. And i will share it, if i found it!
Next time i will remove almost any green so it's just a little stump, i think the shorter the cutting the better.
What do you say about the Training so far? (:

First day of flower!!
Already beginning to see pre flowers before the flip but too small for any real identification.
Been using kombucha and humic acid to lower pH without adding nutrients and it's been working.
Water schedule has been about once ever 3 days. Each plant takes about .1 gal of water. Need about 2.5 gal to water all 22 plants. Nutrients are still in the 2:1:2 ratio for npk. Adding liquid food every other feeding with recharge in 1/3 recommended dose...
The HP3 is looking very beastly. Fat indica leaves. Thick stems. Quick growth. Stem rubs reveal spicy hash flavors. Similar to black pepper. Excited to see how the flowers turn out
The rainbow belts has been very easy. They need a lot of water so it's been hard staying ontop of that. Also the 1 gal fabric bag I'm using is much taller than the others so it's hard to water it fully. Ant looks good otherwise.
ZB2 is a floppy sativa leaning plant. Kinda spindly. Definitely needs better support and training than I am giving for this pheno hunt. Gonna need a stake to support these for sure. Very thin stems. Short and stocky plants that didn't stretch much even with less than optimal light at the beginning.
Maybe perfect candidate for cannbonsai

loved growing this one she grows well reacts to fimming well withstands mould well .the plants structured well buds grow all to a good shape and size no foxtails would recommend to anyone sorry about not updating as much will get back to it properly on the next grows thanks for reading happy growing guys

Started seeds in distilled water. 18hours later taproots were showing, so I poured onto paper towel and left for 24hours. When taproots are about an inch long I will pop into soil

Still adding 1.5ml of Biobizz bio-grow per litre only when needed. Started with 1.5ml Biobizz bloom this week too as I'm hoping she'll start to enter the last phase before flower🤞🤞

Ya estamos en proceso de formación de la flor. Se ven algunas más grandes que otras. Pero a grandes rasgos estan muy parejas. Me preocupa un poco la cercanía a la luz, dado que estoy en 15cm y cualquier estirón extra, sería una complicación. Vamos a ir viendo como se dan las cosas, pero al momento, no me puedo quejar. Las plantas se ven bien y saludables.
Día 24. Se empieza a notar el engorde. Esperando a que aparezcan las hojas de azúcar, que ya se empiezan a visibilizar las primeras. Voy a ver si puedo conseguir overdrive de advanced para cuando se terminen de formar las flores. Entre tanto solamente tuve un inconveniente de pérdida de agua por una manguera que moví al atar las plantas, pero ya repuse la solución perdida y todo va encaminado. No sé si van a tardar las 6 semanas que dice el catálogo, pero cuanto mucho serán 8. Seguiré actualizando.
Día 26. Las flores empiezan a yomar su forma voluminosa. Estoy en duda sobre si agregar PK la semana próxima o la otra. Quizá empiece a usarlo en el próximo depósito. No quiero tampoco sobrepasarlas y agregar el producto antes porque tengo entendido que puede ser contraproducente. De todos modos me quedan dos días para el cambio de solución, así que voy a ver cuando termine la semana. Entre tanto, ya empiezan las emociones.
Día 28. Hice ina poda de hojas bien fuerte. Ya de esa forma dejo expuesto a la luz todo lo que tiene que terminar de engordar y de paso me esquivo posibles problemas de humedad. Al final voy a usar el PK de greenhouse que tengo, pero voy a subir la dosis. Mañana se viene el cambio de solución, para lo que sería la ante última semana en teoría. Vamos a ver como evoluciona, porque los cambios son muy abruptos de una semana a la otra. Y llegado el momento miraré los tricomas, como para ir haciéndome a la idea.

The girls have entered week 3 and are growing slowly, but steadily. Raised the lights slightly since I felt the internodal space was kinda small. Fed them their first nutes. Will be just watering them for 3 days, and give them their seconds feed after that. Waiting to see how they respond to the feed.

In this first cycle published on the site, I did the ScrOG technique for the first time, and honestly I am quite happy with the final result😊 The plants performed very well both in vegetation and in the flowering phase.👌
The only "anomaly" was a beautiful flower affected by fasciation (called "Stewie" by me😄)

Day 55 - 18/11/19
i still think another 1-2 weeks for this one, getting a jewelers loupe for the beginning of week 9 so i can tell exactly where were at in terms of harvest :) anyone got any thoughts on this little plant? have a look at the photos and videos and let me know in the comments below :) oh and i finally nailed what this strains smell is - tropical hubba bubba gum with cheese :'D
Day 59 - 22/11/19
Got my jewelers loupe 2 days ago and ive been having a look at them. its pretty hard to see for a newbie grower. ive looked at harvest guides online and seen pictures of clear, cloudy and amber trichomes. mine look mostly cloudy (60%) and slightly glassy (40%) with barely any ambers. i may be wrong but the reason i think its cloudy is that it looks white against the leaves instead of see through or like glass. so going on this for my first trichome inspection im gonna harvest in the middle of next week.
Smell is getting strong enough to stink out a room, still that tropical cheese smell, although its just so pungent it lingers in the rooms after bringing it out of the tent to inspect it. smell isnt a problem if you put it back in the tent and spray some air freshener stuff in the next room. the carbon filter is doing its job exactly as described along with the fan.
The fan leaves started to get yellow patches and sugar leaves starting to curl. and a friend thinks its nearing the end of its life.
I flushed yesterday and will flush again today to drain out any excess salts and nutes.

Harvested at day 76, after 72h of darkness.
Very good yield!

The 2 keepers yielded 366 and 342g of premium quality smoke.
Very uplifting and energizing high :) Love it!
