Week 1 Day 5 Flower Hi Everyone 🖐️🏻 Thanks for looking in! I switched to flower 5 days ago and the girls are filling out well each day. I just today drilled a hole in the floor and inserted an iron rod into it which now pulls the net in a lot tighter and has allowed me to start tucking and guiding branches where they can get the best light and fill the net. I have supported this with a bit of defoliation to get light to those lower branches and get them pushing growth towards the canopy. As the next two weeks progress I will continue to defoliate and even remove some lower branches which aren't likely to benefit the canopy and in fact deprive the canopy of some energy. The roots are looking good rapidly colonizing the tubs, I've had to return them to the trays from the reservoir below several times which is a headache I'm happy to have😂 I may have flipped too early and aren't likely to fill the area but it should still be a heavy crop and if rather have a manageable grow than a jungle. If it proves way off then next time I grow the same strain using the same method I'll add another week to the veg. This gorgeous beast is so damn heavy I've had to support every single branch with plant yoyo's. There are no joke about 15 of them on this one plant. Even the little branches need support because the flowers are so big and dense! Not to mention this girl smells so strong of gas, sour funk, and a little citrus!

It’s pretty cool to see how a plant can grow so fast! My nephew told me this could really be therapeutic for me so far so good! I’m new to all of this and I’m starting to want to learn more I have about 9 more seeds left all auto. Photos kind of have me intimidated with all of the videos I’ve seen on YouTube…if you have any advice on them please send it my way. I want to know more about photoperiods. -Uncle Cabbage

Update 7 weeks old The girls turned seven weeks Friday and the growth has seemed to finally stop. Little buds are getting bigger. Im doing a little experiment with them to see if i can dial in the nutrients strength. They've been getting 1500 ppm up until yesterday. I upped the feed to 2500 ppm 5 ec. I want my run off ppm to be about even. The run off for 2500 was 1400. I'll back off the first sign of nute burn. Feeding twice a day. I feel i need three. But ya know. Laziness. Considering eliminating the 4 hr dark period and running them at 24 hrs.. will probably implement that after tonight. Supercropping helped alot with my canopy and seems to be promoting growth.

5/28 I think she's about to go off. 6/2 she's been droopy leafed for a bit. I backed off on nutrients for over a week. I thought it may have been overwatering but at the same time I don't want to kill off the microbe life in my soil right now by letting it get overly dry. I'm more experienced with coco and the dry back is more aggressive and intense and with soil it's a little different and slower but it als9 cant dry back as

I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

Big week! Put the net up and really have been defoliating and training to bush her out! So far she responds amazingly well to the training, growing inches a day curving back towards the light! :) She’s really up taking water now, 2 gallons a feed with barely any runoff now, and she’s nearly dry by the end of day 2, so she’s thirsty! Very excited to even the canopy out and switch the lights :) a couple weeks left! I took 10 cuttings this week as well to try my hand at cloning, so far they are doing alright, at the time of posting they are 5 days cut. Strain is supposed to be ~65 day flower, so half done!
