Well looks like we are going to have another beautiful sugar cane come harvest time of everything continues to go smooth. I just love everything about this strain. It's a potent frosty beast. Shes starting to pop like they always do. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Week 20: Coming along nicely with the growth, snapped off some yield due to poor LST/HST (grower error). Strange leaf symptoms, deficiencies/toxicities starting to kick in around Day 143 in soil.

Moved the rest of my autoflowers to my 4x4 tent on 3/21/23 they will be under a 12/12 light schedule until my last photo period plant finishes up

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. This is Future #1 by Canuk seeds. Obviously i could not get from the original source so i used a middleman. Rockwool cubes never done me dirty yet. The nutrient line I'm using is not listed. I'm sure I'll mention it a few times throughout the diary. Read on and maybe you'll find out.

Day 32 Well... Not a single watt of electricity is beeing wasted here :), have done some light defoliation on the bottom and a tactical also light defoliation on the top, no scrog net the stems seem steel strong.

I had some difficulties in the vegetative phase with this passarello strain so even if late I applied a series of techniques to maximize the harvest. I applied a late topping, I did LST on the lower branches and I elegantly widened them and topped x 8 in the center. By doing so the center came out a bit weakened because the power went to all the branches below (that's why the main lining is better), but by eliminating some branches that would not have reached the top I obtained an excellent result, there are really many buds and a result that will exceed 100 grams by a lot I think going closer to 150 grams. The flowers are very beautiful, nice mature pistils, large calyxes, this plant has really large calyxes that make it a bit difficult to clean or rather it is easy to cut some calyxes here and there. But the grass is so much you can easily make sense of it. The smell is wonderful I still have to go into more detail but it seems something strawberry, sweet, I'm still trying to understand what it reminds me of and I have to study the terpenes and terpene profiles better. The trichomes are mostly milky but we honestly have little amber still and a bit of transparency, it could have been another week probably but that's fine. Semana 7 El Scrog comienza a tomar forma y las plantas comienzan a tener un verde mas natural , las plantas reaccionaron bastante bien al apical dándonos un estres de tan solo 3 dias emos aplicado bud fuel 10 días antes de la flora y ahora ultimo se lo aplicamos de manera foliar se a regado con una EC de 800-1200 y un pH de 6,3-6.5 tambien resolvimos la problematica de los hongos con agua oxigenada

Today I transplanted these girls into their 5 gallon grass roots pots. I topped them off with build a soil craft blend, diatomaceous earth & white Dutch clover. Now Im just waiting to see how they adjust to their new pot.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering.
