The plants Start to have the same size. Except the #3, but maybe with the stretch I'll can work on it. Week 5

So, absolutely against the recommendation I received from a friend of mine who's been growing for 20+ years, I pruned/defoliated my plants up a bit this week. I decided to for a few reasons. - the plants were really dense with foliage, many leaves overlapping and pushing other leaves - most of the bud sites were shaded under several layers of leaves - the leaves pilling up would have been restricting airflow quite a lot, I want to prevent budrot or mold by increasing aeration - I wanted to control where the plants were growing, and focus their energy into the buds - with this being an outdoor grow late in the season with less sun I felt it was more important to expose the developing buds to the sun With all that said, I think my plants have responded extremely well to the pruning in the last few days. I've never pruned or defoliated before so this is going to serve as a test for me. I like doing new things and seeing what happens. No matter what, these plants look really good right now and I'm sure I'll get a decent harvest, I'm trying to push it from decent to fantastic. My PPM is a bit high, though none of the plants look like they're being hindered by it. I did a partial water change on 2 of the 3 (the one in the 3 gallon bucket and the one that looks more like and indica). The 3 gallon bucket plant was at a PPM of 5000ish so I made sure to get it more in line with the other two, and with the partial water change I got it to around 2000. The other plants are sitting at right about 3000. I will continue to monitor the plants and check PPM, if it doesn't go down next week I think I'll do another partial water change. I want to keep pumping in nutrient while preventing any burn or lockout. Trichomes are no observable on the two plants in larger buckets. The smaller bucket plant was the last to sprout, so it's about a week or two behind the others. This week has been pretty poor weather where I'm at. Lots of rain and clouds. I've kept the plants under cover but still in direct sunlight. This coming week is supposed to be clear sky again so I'll move them to capture the most light once the rain stops. I know defoliation is debatable, especially with outdoor grows, but I like to push boundaries. Here's a list of the things I've done with this grow: - kratky method hydroponics (other than a partial water change I have added no water since starting in buckets, no airstone, no pump) - Winter grow (shortest light period of the year here) - Topping (and it looks like one is more like FIMing, also one grew as if it were topped without my input) - Dense nutrient load (I've added more nutrient in this grow than any grow I have previously done. Mostly because I never achieved super large buds and I'm really aiming for that this time) - Water change (like an aquarium, I've never done a water change other than flush before, this week called for it with the high PPM which I think was residual from nutrient loading in veg so I wanted to make sure there's room for the flower nutes) - Defoliation/pruning (nothing too crazy or drastic, started this week and don't plan to trim again unless I see a need to)

It was my first grow and I really screwed it up a lot, but it resisted all my beginner mistakes, pests, stress, being without irrigation, irrigation without measuring PH, revegetation, etc. I love her, really, in love with this strain. Pow Pow Pow what can i say, i mean even the frogs here were hypnotized with this monstrosity size Mama she is all one can ask and so much more, wen harvesting these cutie pie beast Lady i felt the need to break her in small peaces , or smaller that the them baseball bats collas hihihi OMG them colas OMG . Sadly coming Coming to the end. Hopefully if all is well she should be getting harvested next week. She's filled out well don't think I'm going to get much more from her. Currently being flushed every other day. Then I'll let her dry out before giving her the chop.

These girls sprouted and then had no light for 2 and a half days, so a little leggy. Put them under 25% power LED to see how they respond will increase as needed over next few days, to 100% blue spectrum.. The genetics are either, selfed (G T H), or stray Skywalker that also selfed.. Soo a selfed GTH or sky ghost train. I think I like the possibilities.🙏 03/27/2018 Day 6, 100% blue spectrum, 25% red, perking up watered.

Early morning day 1 we got a good rain. The girls loved it. This week has cooler night time Temps, storms, and low 90s upper 80s f day time Temps. Plants are getting into the super soil and out of the safe zone of plain organic soil. Next time I'll use a stronger mix of liquid feed for the safe zone. The plants didn't get enough nutes to grow fast. I'm still dialing in super soil/organic so there's a learning curb. I'm a little worried about topping these as I got a late start outdoors. I topped the biggest this week. The smallest got ravaged by an insect so I'll just let it grow out naturally.

Put the largest nothern lights in its own mini green house, both have x2 large bug nets around them instead of a plastic cover as the temps and humidity were off but are perfect now. Plus it will reduce the chances of bugs flying in while also allowing the wind to pass through, I’ve used some Biobizz leaf spray no further leafs have been eaten since using it which I’m happy about.

Well started flush on out door cheese well greenhouse indoor only just preflowering off site so less pics like the gorilla frisan duck so yeah more pics this week peace ended up chopping cheese 2 as bud rot struck so got rid and got 11.3 grams wet from 1 so quite low yield mould resistances not the best not the most crystals I have seen nor the least it's a 2 out of 10 so far yeah staying at 2 as was fun to grow but yeil was disgraceful 1.6 g dried she had the cheese smell and taste but little vegy so going to cure the remainder try in 2 weeks utterly as for the rest can't wait frisan duck has like 70+branches so she's going to be a nice harvest no pre flower yet peace

Hi Growmies, She has now completely stiffened and the buds start stretching along the colas. It’s still very hot here at times and temperatures climb towards 30 Celsius, hopefully that will fix itself with autumn around the corner, other than that I ordered a secret jardin temp controlled vent in order to get a bit more control of my tents temp. She already starts smelling very strong like oranges with some citrus subnotes. Will also add another fan next week to get some circulation under the screen. 1/9: packing on weight. I let em get a little to hungry before top dressing them, think it was about 3 weeks since last top dressing of 1/4 cup of craft blend BAS in their 3 gallon pots. So gave em a nice tea to catch them up. Added some kashi on top to help speed up the break down process. Smells are really starting to kick in. Not my favorite. Definitely spicy, limy, piney. But very loud. A lot of variation in The phenotype. Got 2 short bushy and two long and spread out, and one bushy and green and one bushy and purple. One plant I knocked over during transplant so that could have effected its pheno with stress. But the other is naturally short.

So this week I decided to defoliate and lollipop . I wanted to wait like atleast some more days but I got bit worried they get to bushy and crowded and now I still have the same feeling afterwards but it looks a bit better to me . Next week I will add some bloom booster with every watering . I removed my humidifier now and think about some more and heavier defoliation and lollipopping but I will let them relax now . Super silver haze is stacking up insane while orange bud is forming some more pine like buds I’d say at this point . No big smells except the classic weed smell coming from the super silver haze . She’s qualifying for a solo grow for the next time for me like the gorilla cookies from fast buds wich I also liked a lot
