The Mandarin Squeeze sisters are growing good. They got a solution change today. The colas are bulking and getting a lot of frost on and around them. She has not started smelling strong yet. Well , these girls are just massive 😂 I seriously have never saw this amount of growth in such a short time honestly 😂 When I'm putting the height of the plants I'm measuring from the bottle of the soil to just above and what I like to call gestimating as its beyond difficult to measure so sorry about that in advance guys 👎🏼 I wish I had an amazing camera so you guys can fully see the extreme crazy growth amongst the canopy ! Had to give the girls another major trim As those fan leaves where multiplying , twisting and knotting and doing some crazy 💩 Haha😂 Now we have been in limbo with what to do with regards to the scrog , everytime we decide something we end up doing the opposit so just going to take it week by week, as you can see from the middle of the canopy those stems have been wrapped round the full tent nearly and still popping right up, so put them back under which I was initially not going to do but yeh lol! Still using cellmax nutrients a,b and flower... Feel like I should stop haha. Highly rate them guys the growth with this grow compared to last is outstanding! I forgot to say at the begging I have a bought a dehumidifier because in my home there is no ventilation to put inside took one a plant place thath i had to keep in vegetation period any way this week th plants are pumping good i did stop for a week with the nutrients but now I’ll put a bit les 2 times a weekas normal

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

Week 1 Day 1 9/23/2023 I decided to go ahead and flip her to flower today, she had a stem past the net and high enough to super crop. Humidity was a little high so I added both Dehumidifiers to the tent and attached them to the InkBird. Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-5.2mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-5.2Mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 1mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal Flipped the lighting to Flower 0800-2000, I filled with Week 1 flower Nutes, and I Super Cropped One of the Tops down. Week 1 Day 2 9/24/2023 I cleaned my canopy today, by trying to look straight down and opening up as many Tops sites as I could see blocked by leaves directly above. This will be my life for the rest of Flower cleaning and clearing as well as ensuring no sucker buds. Week 1 Day 3 9/25/2023 Today was one of those days where you can just sit back and look and enjoy some of the work you have put in. Today I just let her be.. Week1 Day 4 9/26/2023 I took the fan leaves that were blocking those beautiful bud sites from light.. Such will be my life every time I enter the tent for the rest of the grow. The clones all have roots coming from the rapid rooter, I am feeling really good that by Sunday they will be ready for selection and planting. Week1 Day 5 9/27/2023 I did some extreme defoliation today I opened the tent and she was just sooo full. Week1 Day 6 9/28/2023 I took a little from the inside and a few smaller inner stems.. I hate to take stems until after week 3 of growth to give each a chance to shoot up and hit the canopy. Week1 Day 7 9/29/2023 Took a look from the underside to see how much light was penetrating the canopy and removed some leaves and stems that were blockers. Tomorrow will add 10 gallons and the Nutes.. that will be my last in between week fill before I start having to change weekly for the rest of the grow.

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

UPDATE AFTER A LONG TIME, i'll post more often. I only recovered a few videos from last couple years to share. Mango is dense, but doesn't give out much trichome as I expected. So, I took a risk and poke a hole in the stem to gave a lot of stress to the plant, so the plant gave out a lot of trichomes and the bud becomes a bit bigger.

😈 Purple Devil Auto finished wonderfully. I chopped her down this morning. She is a beautiful site to see with her deep purple flowers and fat trichome heads. She's smelling sweet and citrusy. Definitely has that lemon smell going on kinda like my purple lemonade did back in the day. This plant right here is the reason why I love growing so much. There are so many colors, smells, shapes, tastes, the list goes on. It always keeps it exciting! I emptied the reservoir every other week alternating from filtered tap water PH at 6.5 to a Mild kelp and molasses solution aka Trinity from Roots Organic. I didn't do anything but change the reservoir out every other week! Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. It was a week with a lot of activity. First of all, she had her first full week of flowering and did a bit of a stretch. Also I switched her to the left side of the tent, to space the plants more evenly. We are getting to a canopy, although one of her roommates probably is male and will be removed. More about this when I update my Xtrakushh Diary. Also had time to fit the scrognet. It fits way better than last grow, much tighter. We had some problems with the lighting. I probably hit my timer with one of my sausage fingers, making my lights turn on in the middle of the night, thank god I found it out in time. They maybe had an hour or two of light for one night. Still something she really doesn't need with this strains tendency to hermie under stress. She still looks happy. Did some gentle leaf tucking, some LST under the net, and a little defoliation. The branches might be short but they are very sturdy and should be able to carry large and heavy buds. And we had won the @Sweet_Seeds Halloween give-away and got to choose three of their legendary strains: Tropicanna Poison, Red Hot Cookies and Runtz XXL auto!! Thanks guys!!! Easy to grow. Only issue I ran into was the other strain being a male. If I grew this strain alone I would’ve filled out the tent with just this strain the yield would’ve reflected that. Keep in mind if the other plant didn’t get the chop this yield would be almost double. I will grow this cut again.
