Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦💦 Fading and fattening up, she's looking very frosty and smelling as beaut as ever. I like to pluck a few of her biggest, greenest leaves throughout flush as it'll speed up her fade and flush her quicker by taking away stored nutrients. Looking forward to watching her fade! Die Pflanze wurde zu Beginn der Woche getoppt. Dieses Mal bleibt es bei einem Topping, und ich lasse sechs Hauptriebe stehen. Diese werde ich später mit einem Scrog-Netz auseinanderziehen, um möglichst viele Seitentriebe zu fördern. Ziel ist ein ebenes Blätterdach mit möglichst vielen kleinen Mainbuds. Die Pflanze hat das Toppen gut verkraftet und wächst weiterhin kompakt. Sie ist nach wie vor sattgrün, und die Blätter richten sich steil zur LED aus. Das zeigt mir, dass die Living Soil gut funktioniert und die Pflanze optimal versorgt wird. In dieser Woche wurde erneut mit Nematoden gegossen. Das ist für mich ein Nachteil der Living Soil. Durch den dauerhaft feuchten Boden fühlen sich Trauermücken besonders wohl. Dies ist mein zweiter Grow mit Living Soil, und in beiden Fällen hatte ich mit Trauermücken zu kämpfen. Bei meinen früheren Grows mit normaler Erde, Flüssigdünger und zwischenzeitlich antrocknendem Substrat hatte ich dieses Problem nicht. Zu Beginn der Woche wurde die LED auf 20% erhöht und der VPD während der Lichtphase leicht angehoben. Today is day 22 of flower. Currently I am on the 5th day of a flush with just water at ph of 5.9. Two more days we will go back to regular nutes. She is stacking up nice at this point couldn’t be happier with how well the plant thrived. It’s like there was never any issues. Currently wishing I cleaned up the bottom of the plant more. This plant has been such and easy grow thanks to the genetics I’m sure. Looks like she will yield nicely. It’s been a little cold at night here lately but she is taking it well

Week 12: Pineapple Poison - Flower Power & A Towering Princess Emerges! Yo growmies! Flowering watch is officially over, and guess what? The Pineapple Poison is throwing a bud party! We spotted the first signs last week - tiny white hairs like a shy hello from the flowering fairies. This week, those hairs are getting bolder, multiplying like rabbits in a magic hat! Flower power, activate! The excitement doesn't stop there. This girl is on a vertical vacation, stretching another 17cm to a whopping 155cm! That's right, she's practically taller than my 12-year-old at this point! Speaking of growth spurts, we've been blessed with a sunshine and rain tag team this week, and the Pineapple Poison is loving it. New shoots and leaves are popping up like popcorn kernels, which is why I did a little more mainlining magic. Gotta keep those popcorn nugs at bay and focus on the main event: frost-covered colas the size of pineapples! (Okay, maybe not that big, but you get the picture.) Now, the burning question: support systems. Anyone got tips on how to keep this towering beauty from toppling over? Comments are open, growmies, because this girl might need a trellis or some kind of ganja-gardening Eiffel Tower to support her future weight! Added Exhale c02 and top dressed in each pot with 1 tablespoon per gallon of growing medium my pots are 3.6. I added 3 tablespoons. It is my hopes that with adding the slow release dry amendments and once the c02 bag sarts growing my plants will finally grow. They are short but have 4 nodes at day 21. What is an exhale c02 bag? “The ExHale bag is a patented strain of mycelium that produces an abundance of CO2 without fruiting. This means that when our bag is activated, the mycelium grows, eating the substrate it comes with, giving off heaps of CO2 straight into your garden, and it does all this for 6 months - guaranteed!” At day 25 I am not impressed with the size of these girls? Hope they hit a growth spurt soon? Their internodes are stacked very nicely. At day 28 growth is very slow. Practically none existent since my top dressing at day 23. 2 plants have received a very minimal nutrient burn. As I do not have a soil ph tester? I will be watering with a ph of 6.0 rather than 6.5, hopefully that helps. ONWARD!

Thats week 6 of flower in the bag. 3 (maybe 4) go! I wont lie I have been visiting the tent more often these days thanks to the beautiful aroma tempting me to have a look at their progress. The last 24 hours has been quite satisfying for me because the bud growth is now steaming ahead. I wish I had taken photos last night but I showed the girls to a friend yesterday and we could see all the bud sites peeking through but when I checked on them this afternoon the buds are exploding through with vigor! Ive taken another video and a fair few bud shots but next week I will be taking more photos to show you more than just top bud growth as these girls are stacking up! Ive always been really envious of other growers who top their plants multiple times and take the time to ensure the canopy is as level as possible but Im quite proud of my girls canopy and multiple top colas! Anyway, so all I have been doing is continuing with a water and seaweed extract feed, still about 5litres each and they had their last top amendment feed last weed which will last them to the end now and I want them to use up as much of the nutrients available in the soil before I start flushing in the next couple of weeks. For anyone reading who doesnt know about flushing, Ill explain. Flushing is a technique used by growers to get rid of as much of the added nutrients in the medium by 'flushing' around 3 times the volume of the pot the plant is growing in with normal tap water (ensuring the water is at the right PH). Essentially you want to flush the plant in 3 batches so that the medium has time to settle between each flush ensuring you get all the nutrients and minerals out of the medium. You will notice that the run off will get lighter and lighter with each batch of flushing which is the nutrients being flushed out. We do this so that the plant is forced to use its own nutrients which in turn I have found also fattens up the buds. This is the time when you start to notice a change of colour in your plants as they start to use up the nutrients stored in the leaves. Dont panic as these deficiencies are just a sign that the nutrients are being used up and you will end up with bud that will dry better and be less prone to mold issues as well as a smoother smoke and better terpene profiles. Just look at that frost... Thats it for this week! ✌️

Termina la primera semana de floración. La planta más grande se está expandiendo mucho. Lo cual es bueno, dado que uno de los esquejes había quedado chico, y el grande está ocupando ese lugar. Mantuve la misma solución que la semana anterior, para probar una teoría. He leído que hay cultivadores que mantienen riego de crecimiento la primer semana de flora en indoor, para que planta aproveche mejor el desarrollo vegetativo de esa semana. Ya ahora que arranca la segunda de flora pienso empezar a agregar bud blood powder. Por el momento la configuración parece apropiada para la cantidad de plantas y el crecimiento que les dí. El modelo sería manejar plantas del tamaño de las dos que no se pasaron. Eso implica 2 semanas una vez que el esqueje enraizó todo el sustrato. Por eso voy a modificar mi clonador para poder hacer crecimiento por 2 semanas ahí mismo. De esa forma paso directamente a floración en el modulo de arriba. También aproveché para subir la intensidad de la luz un 50% de lo que estaba, Entre semana vamos a ver la evolución y seguro ya le subo la luz al 100%.

Cold most of the week. I ran lights 24hrs last few days so temps wouldn't dip below 60. Punch 3.0 may be showing a little stress from all of it. Looking good so far. Video is from Saturday - I normally use the vipar alone for veg, I added the UFO for heat for a couple of days. I expected it to be too much light for seedlings but they are taking it fine so far. I will see if I see a difference in growth from blue to red side.
