Gorilla Runtz Seedsman Day 54 Day 6 since 12/12

Hey hey hey Growmies 😘🤗🤩 Thanks for stopping in! I hope your week has rocked! 💪🏼So far so good over here! Today is day 49 for my set of G14s from 420Fastbuds and they are kickin ass! 🤩 The first plant was topped early on at 3 nodes and we also did some LST, we now have 4 beautiful main colas that are getting so thick!! This girl is smelling so so good and is really doing great! 💪🏼 The second plant pictured is the same age and was not topped. This girl we did LST early on and it is also doing very well and has a good smell! Both girls are receiving a few different types of bloom nutes and also cal mag. We did some more defoliation on day 47 so the bud sites are sure to get plenty of light! We’ve been using the spider lights and so far are very happy with them. 3 gallon pots that are super breathable. Like I said, so far so good 😊 We are leaving to FL soon for 10 days 😬 so hoping everything goes smoothly while we are gone. Any tips for that (leaving plants while on vacation) are welcome! Que hay familia, vamos con la sexta semana de floración de estas Runtz de Zamnesia y empezamos con riegos intercalados cada 48 horas controlando siempre el Ph, que ahora mismo lo dejamos en 6.5 . Temperatura y humedad dentro de los parámetros correctos. Seleccioné de las 5 plantas, 3 , que creo que son los mejores ejemplares que por el momento están creciendo bien y tener tienen un buen color, se ven bien sanas, todo normal hasta ahora, van cogiendo forma y están produciendo una tricomada bastante seria, están increíbles. Vamos viendo cómo progresan. Hasta aquí todo, buenos humos 💨💨💨.

Still steady away with her, no growth to get exited about really. Finished with all the topping and just keeping a level canopy while the growth on the second set of branches catches up. Especially the top branch on the pictures. Seems to be really held back compared to the opposite branch. I've defoliated quite a bit, just to clear some space and get light through to all the new growth. Just waiting it out now and gonna flip lights when everything is caught up. Collected plenty of pollen from the Mi5 to dust her with, going to try get one half pollinated and leave the other, probably get a few stray seeds on the other half but I don't mind really.

I've got the AirCube system dialed in now and the plants have responded beautifully! I've upped the nutrients to 650ppm's and am running the PH at 6.0-6.2 @ 74℉. Tent temperatures are running 73/80℉ during lights off/on, RH is being maintained @ 65%, and co2 levels at 1150-1300ppm's. I upped the output of the HLG 650R to 65% via a TrolMaster Hydro-X Controller, and have it hung 28" above the plants. 10/20- Yesterday, I drained and cleaned the reservoir and 'brain bucket', then refilled the system with 60L of well water to which added the following: 100ml each of Plagron Cocos 'A' & 'B', 30ml of Plagron Power Roots and 45ml of Botanicare CalMag+, and 3 tbsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss amino acids for a final level of 650ppm's. I then checked the ph and adjusted to 6.0 @ 74℉. I have also set the GrowAce AirCube system to 'Auto' mode and have it set for three 15min feedings a day, six hours apart, beginning two hours after 'lights on'. 10/22- All three Strawberry Gorilla's are looking really good now with great color and vigor. They all have their forth leaf set emerging now and their node spacing is fairly tight currently. With the girls doing well, I'm primarily concentrating on maintaining a consistent environment in the 4x4, paying close attention to temperature, RH, co2 levels and VPD. The three times a day feeding schedule with Plagron nutrients ( Cocos A & B, Power Roots) continues @ 650ppm. I am also checking the reservoir before each to monitor and adjust the PH and nutrients when needed. I have noticed that after each feed the reservoir PH climbs 0.9of a point to 7.0, so I have been adding 30ml of Safer Grow PH Down which brings the PH down to 6.1. 10/24- Today I drained, cleaned and flushed the AirCube reservoir and 'brain bucket', then filled it with 70L of 74℉ well water. After filling I added the Plagron nutrients separately and also began adding in Plagron Royal Rush. The feedings of Plagron nutrients continue three times daily, and I'm monitoring the reservoir before each, adjusting the nutrient level to 650-700ppm @ 5.9-6.2 ph. The tent environment has remained dialed in with the VPD averaging 1.40kpa over the last seven days. The Strawberry Gorilla's are responding well to the feeding schedule, and are also tolerating the increased light output which I now have set to 80% along with setting the co2 levels to 1100-1400ppm. The plants are growing at a good rate now and drinking a litre each per day. I feed them by hand and each plant gets 2litres every other day. Didn't do anything else this week other than install the trellis on the last day. This plant is at the back of the timelapse video.

3/28/25 chopped and humidity was a little high starting off 3/30/25 have them drying at 60% and 70° 4/3/25 Still needing a day or so of drying to be at a stable humidity Beautiful plant. Fan leaves with Triched out patterns visibly everywhere. Even though i chopped quite a bit off of the plant, i still got quite a bit bigger yield than i expected. All sizable nugs. Pulled 65 grams.

5/25 - Last entry just for completeness since she was technically still alive and kicking on this day. Added a bunch of pics and a vid prior to her chop, which was the night of 5/26 (pics for that will come after she's trimmed). I think she might yield even more than Helen, but we'll see. I can't say enough how fun this entire process has been, and I'm already feeling like an empty-nester without them. Definitely planning to start another grow (Mephisto Double Grape! and maybe another??) in a few weeks, but also thinking of adding additional electricity/outlets first. Not too much else to say here since I haven't been checking pH/ppm since I started "flushing" (my least favorite part of growing lol). I'm drying out a Heather tester bud I accidentally clipped when chopping her, and I'm excited to compare the effects to Helen (which I have been enjoying immensely!!)

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

DAY 51F Getting the chop at the weekend

Welcome back to my humidity hell. I just can't set the humidity down to where I want it. I did some more defoliation this week. Perhaps that will help the humidity a bit. These girls grew a bit bigger than I expected, and this may be contributing to my high humidity numbers. Other that that, these girls are stacking up nicely! They continue to have no problems and look healthy!

Week 1 of flower hydro and organics

wow, she's amazing:) with the conditions she has, this is a super result :) the weather is not spoiling us - every day, little sun - lots of clouds + almost half a balcony :D :D she has 3 more weeks - then I'll go on a long vacation :) everything didn't go as planned,:) I think she needs more time:) there will be a renewal until the finish :).

The big ones close to done just started dropping ppms. The smaller ones have a little longer and shouldn't yield much looks like they just gunna have tiny nugs cuz they in only about a gal and a half of coco on surprised they got as big as they are. The colors on the big one is insane tho.

Day 1 - 03/31/2022 Hello, World! 34th Street AK-47 Autoflower from OCS.ca germinated in 1 day after placing seeds in the freezer over night before planting. This was my 3rd attempt and the freezing method seemed to have done the trick! Sprouted on day 4. I placed the seed in the Aerogarden sponge pod and didn’t press it down too much. When the tap root started, it had nothing to grip onto, so I solved this by cutting a small portion of another sponge and placed it above the seed securing it in place with a loose “lid” on top so the sprout could easily push through. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 3 - 04/02/2022 Hygrometer is in. Was drier than a popcorns fart in the closet so I got the humidifier going and it’s looking good. Went from 22% to 38% humidity in ~1 hour. pH, water temp and EC/PPM all seemed high so I added ~0.5 mL of pH Down that brought the levels to 5.4 (too low). I added ~2 cups of Brita filtered water (water was getting low anyway) before I went to bed from the fridge that helped raise the pH, lower the EC/PPM, and the temp by a few degrees as well. In an attempt to cool the water down a bit over night, I took the “cap” off of the Aerogarden reservoir to let the water ‘breath’ while the light was off between 2 am and 6 am – that did not work... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 4 - 04/03/2022 Water temp remains high at around 28 c. I replaced about 1/3 of the tank with new water and added ~1ml of Miracle Grow. Didn't effect the water temp at all. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 6 - 04/05/2022 Levels appear the same. Tomorrow I’ll change the water out and start adding FloraMicro, FloraGrow and FloraBloom with some CaliMagic. Might pick up some Root inoculate of sorts or at least some preventative root rot formula – better safe than sorry. I’ll have to start seriously taking care of the water temp as well. Having it always around the 30 degree mark is not good. On a side note, I inadvertently found a great way to bump up humidity and air temp quickly: add boiling/hot water to the humidifier. My humidifier ran out of water over night while I was asleep. At 6:30 am I was lucky enough to notice since the humidifier rattles when empty. Humidity was down to 38% at that point. I went back to bed, woke up at 8:30 and it was down to 28%. As luck would have it, there was some left over boiling water on the stove in a kettle and I needed something easy to pour with. I checked back 30 minutes later and the air humidity/temp was up to 60% / 30 C respectively. Perfect conditions for our little lady to get big and strong. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 7 - 04/06/2022 First water exchange went smoothly. This was also the first time I added nutrients other than the NutriGrow formula. I mixed everything together in 16 cups of water. NOTE TO SELF: 16 cups is not enough for 1.1 gallons! I had to add another 5 cups of water/nutrients to get the water volume right. I added a bit of NutriGrow only in the last 5 cups with ~1mL of pH down (didn’t measure; kept applying in small doses until pH was around 6).
