Hey everyone! Just a quick recap from last week: we've removed the LST bands and are letting the plants grow freely. They are looking fantastic and have developed a very dense canopy. 🌿 Now, we're at a bit of a crossroads regarding when to start the flowering phase. The back three plants from our second grow are only 23 days old, and I’d prefer not to have any plants outside the tent. Today, we're changing the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. This will give the plants more time to rest, which should help them grow even stronger. 🌱 The 18/6 cycle means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, providing the plants with more downtime to recuperate and grow. Excited to see how they respond to this change! Day 45 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting update: we’ve built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants! 🌿 For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it with our six plants to ensure they all get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We've also placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. Do we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or would a dehumidifier be a better option? We’re leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Day 46 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants have names now! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around. It should also help you all follow along more easily with the pictures we post. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to watch them grow and thrive!

Wow well she has jumped up!! A week ago I scraped off a couple of inches of the soil/perlite mix and replaced it with brand new compost. My grows for the last few months have been unimpressive to say the least and I've been trying to figure out the problem. I've had a few theories but the one I've settled on is my soil. I think I need to change it much more often than I have been doing previously.

12/4/23-moving to flower. I have been doing LST, just put a screen on it to scrog. 12/5/23 - started new flower recipe and 12 hour light schedule 12/10/23 - has been in flower for almost a week; I have been putting 160ml of nutrients in am & pm, along with adding 24ozs of new water, ph running slightly low at 5.64. A little burns on some tips but looks healthy over all. Still not a tall plant, but short and bushy for sure. When do I see buds forming ? Day 61 nothing new. Day 62 raised light again 2 more inches. Day 63 lowered light power down to 75% now she's getting 1100umols. Day 64 all is good. Day 65 nothing new she is big. Day 66 can't raise light anymore so I dimmed down to 80% light. 1100umols on main cola. Day 67 all is good refilled refill tank 1400ppm.

Am concerned that I won't have room. If something has to go, it's the soil. Have a case of Fungus Gnats that I'll treat with Diatomaceous earth if I keep her. Just waiting for the last harvest in the flower room before moving these girls in. Sorry for the delay guys been a shit week for the most part. I took these pics before I left on Friday and a quick video. I planned to come back on sunday get some good pics and harvest but broke my clavicle saturday in 2 places and now I'm gunna be scramblin the next 6 to 8 weeks n be extremely limited. I'll do my best but it's my right side and I'm a firm righty, lefty is like speaking Japanese for me. Threw in a pic so you guys know I'm not a faker like my uncle raymus. Anyways I wont speak of it again after this weeks updates.. I like this one. It completely blacked out even with higher temps than I typically have. The pistils just accentuate the buds if that's even a word their so bright vibrant orange on top of these black and purple nugs irs pretty cool lookin. It has a sharp chemical smell to it it's difficult to describe. I'm pretty confident a bigger pot would have resulted in more roots and bigger fruits so even though the buds arent tiny they could have definitely packed it on a little more but well chalk it up to grower error. If I grew it again I would either flip it earlier or throw it in a 5 gal. I hope to chop it tonight if I dont have to get surgery today and will update the harvest as soon as possible. Wow the smell! ghost train smells like a citrusy diesel and the pineapple is getting more of an acidic fruity aroma. they are finally starting to put on some size closing in on the end of week 4 flower, next week i will step up the nutes. I defoliared the bottom 50% of the plant now that it seems to have finished stretching, and removed any big fan leaves blocking the better bud sites. i couldn’t ask for a better first grow so far!
