That I already had the phenotype of Runtz a few times and know the strong strech, I suspect that it will grow extremely full this time 😅. Next week I'll turn the watering timer down because it has more than enough roots. You can see that in the fact that roots are already moving through the drain into the tank 😂👍. She also has extremely large leaves :-). It was cleaned and the plant checked for pests, although I haven't noticed a single fly or anything else at Aerophonic. The flowering is developing well, but my substrate is too draining, I have to water very often

6/19 Knowing it was going to be over 100° for the majority of the day I WATERED the garden with 3 1/2 gallons. I went to check around 4 and everything looked amazing. We got some hard rain from a thunderstorm at 4pm but it seems like these girls like it rough and did fine. The take a beating and come back stronger. Knock on wood but I haven't seen any problems on the plant I snapped amd dict taped.. Everything seems to have toughened up and the leaves are an awesome healthy color. They grow observable every day now. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 100 again for most of the day before weather goes back to semi normal. I took a video but it will take way to long to upload. Tons of other pics didn't upload either. 6/20 Another day that's going to be over 100°. Plants seem to love it lol. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Bags still had some heft so I didn't water this morning. I figure I'll check them around noon and then plan on watering tonight if they need it. Hopfully they'll get some rain from thunderstorms. This crop has been through a lot. I think that has helped them significant deal with this unpredictable weather. 6/21 We had a MAJOR thunderstorm with sheet rain yesterday. I missed it but it was intense. I saw some videos. First time dad seemed concerned. Fortunately there was no damage. I was going to water today but I decided to hold off due to the look of the plants and the "praying leaves" at 4pm and feeling some moisture in the soil. Bags seemed to still have some heft. I'll probably water tomorrow. Need to transplant the 1 gals and need to figure out what I want to do for nutes this year. So far I've put in much less effort and I'm still doing great. I just don't have as many plants as usual. 6/22 Rained last night. Not much but the bags were heavy still so I held off watering. Plants looked happy and I can fix under watering much easier. It will rain tomorrow. I'll check throughout the day and update but things are going good. I should transplant those 3 seedlings in 1 gals. 6/23 It Rained last night and is suppised to rain today. It was raining when i went over. Just the kind if rain the plants love. I'll check again before church but I'm eventually going to have to water them. Those thunder storms helped a lot. 6/24 Rained about an inch yesterday. Plants loved it. Bigger everytime I see them. One seedling showed a pistol and I'll transplant it with the rest. It was the only one I was worried about. I've seen a FEW leaf hopper punctures and some other bites that could be anything. Time to get the ipm 6/25 Looks like its gonna be a nice sunny day. 75° at 10am. Plants are doing amazing and growing at a rapid pace. Haven't done anything ipm as of yet but any damage I've seen is localized to "A" leaf on "A" plant. I'll be paying attention and watching for signs of deficiencies. As of now though they LOOK great. I'll try to transplant the 3 seedlings today.

Hey everyone, sorry I’ve been absent. These girls have been through some sh*t along with me😂 They had a Thrips infestation quite bad. I have been doing a lot of construction in the house and think that maybe was a factor🤷‍♂️🏻 My last harvest was 10/10 absolutely beautiful was missing the bulk towards the end of harvest though, then I found out when I grinder the flower… Hermie was absolutely gutted. There was a few things it could’ve been I suppose it’s part of the learning curve. I saved the best five I could… The girls that seemed almost pest resistant. I topped from 3-5 Nodes just once due to the trauma after ward. Safe to say this has been really stressful for us all I felt as though everything was contaminated so I cleaned everything and went back old school to tent! Glad I did so too. Been experiencing some hot weather recently so both ballasted are on 400W which is fine for now! Keeping feed to a minimal and keeping basic this run. They seemed to have bounced back and all seem healthy showing female sex!!! Hopefully we have a great run I really hope so

These two girls have gotten into "that's a big b*tch" territory! Absolutely massive plants just short of four feet tall and taking up half of the 4x8. Got their first haircut mid week, stripping off all of the lower third small branches and a large amount of inner fan leaves. They didn't skip a beat and just kept praying every day and chugging nutrient mix. Bud sites everywhere, hope these girls start lifting weights in preparation for all the buds their about to pack on. So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

I’m just happy I’m this far along with these two! Well I’m shocked that one of them is still trying to stretch so late into the grow. Otherwise I’m excited for flowers.

Not bad for a little plant we did not give much hope of producing. Trics look good - Into the dry box as the tent is full. 206 Grams Wet *****UPDATE***** 12/8 78g dry *****UPDATE***** 12/10 tested 0.5g after decarb and yep all we could have wanted, sativa-ish with good legs. More later 12/5 Fed Maggie and Layla 1 gal each at 6.5PH 12.5ml/gal Soul Peak PK booster, foliar of full cal-mag at lights out just to be sure. Layla is definitely ripening but I think one more dose of PK perhaps if not just water. Decide tomorrow Maggie still aggressively building buds so she is absolutely getting more PK, remember there is Dr Earth in the pot so its not like she is being starved for other nuets. I think Maggie, being a sativa pheno, may go another two weeks. Hot and dry all week, boy the forest fires are bad in BC this year, knock on wood no major fires on Vancouver Island, no smoke either. Smooth sailing, stretch is slowing, budlets forming nice for sure week 2+ so looking like a Sept finish for sure. Quiet week as I was busy enjoying summer, nothing but drip 45min a day, 2.5hr once a week, diablo maxx, Silica and a weekly spray of LCPT. Had a MASSIVE mushroom at the base of the Hugel, which means the fungal network under there is for sure in overdrive. This time of year it's so hot and dry it's hard to keep the outside of the hugel most being a big hill, but obviously there's epic moisture deep inside it. Compost tea this week, looks great, super simple, 6cups compost, 4tbsp molasses, 4tbsp Epsom, 50ml kelp, little bit of coir, aerate 24hrs and use immediately. Probably toss on trellis net next week and zip tie her to the frame, next week another top dress, and then the final push! Most of the harvest will go to the freezer fresh, maybe wash, hang dry and cure an LB for flower rosin and edibles, then I'll make bubble hash when it cools down over Christmas.

Chapter: Garden bed, going all out for the healthiest soil ever! Finally finally. The first chapter is finished! And now my favorite the outdoor chapter begins 😊. The cosiest soil for thw beauties has been created, so they shall never lack of anything precious to them 💪. I prepared the plots as good as it gets. -Added loads of compost and sheep manure from my neighbour. The soil already had unbeliavably high number of earth worms, now even more to come 🙏. -Added a 24hour compost tea from my own compost, to turn up the microbial activity to maximum. -Sprinkeled in some redclover seeds, for later soil cover and nitrogen fixation. -And put some strawmulch to decrease evaporation and keep soil tempreture steady. -And added more microrhizae, just to be sure🙏 Now for the next weeks only thing to do is to water and wait for the plants to flurish! 😊 Last year i made a little mistake, i grew the plant like an indoor weed plant, mainlining... etc. Because of this the plants were quite small. This year i do it like i did in 2024, i top the plant after the 5th node, so it has 10 sidebranches to start with. An then we see where that goes. I really hope for at least one decent "Tree" this time😊. Now lets see what the next weeks will bring us💪.
