πΏπ Week 8: Aroma, Colors, and Amazingness! πΏπ
Hey there, fellow growers! It's time for another thrilling update on my cannabis journey:
πΈ Aromatic Delight: As we reach the end of week 8, the aroma in my grow space is absolutely enchanting. The scents have intensified and become truly captivating. π¬οΈπ
π Vibrant Colors: The plants are flaunting their vibrant hues as the flowers continue to mature. The leaves exhibit beautiful purple hues, and The Queen plant is adorned with striking orange and red hairs. It's an absolute spectacle! πΊπ¨
π§ pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flowering stage, I've maintained a steady pH level of 6.33. That's fantastic news! In terms of TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the much-needed nutrients for your beloved plants. βοΈπ±
β³ Progress Update: The Queen has proven to be a fast finisher, reaching the impressive milestone of 49/56 days. She's now completely ready to be harvested. It's time to celebrate! π₯
πͺ Oreo Big Stuff: Although the Oreo Big Stuff was expected to finish around the same time as The Queen, it seems she needs a few more days to reach her peak. Hang tight for another 2/3 days, and she'll be ready to harvest as well. Patience is key! πͺβ‘
πΏ Zweet Og: Ah, the beloved Zweet Og! This beauty emits an incredible OG gas funk smell. I absolutely adore it! The estimated flowering time for this strain is 63-70 days, and she still needs a little over a week to reach her full potential. Keep an eye on her progress, as she's worth the wait! πππΏ
π§ Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I've encountered a challenge with drying The Queen. She's currently positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog setup, making it difficult to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! π¬πΏποΈββοΈ
π± Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, I'm overall thrilled with the progress of my grow. No hermaphrodites or other issues have surfaced, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to embark on another run with The Queen. I already have six clones ready to transition into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times lie ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! πΌπΏπΏ

Week 8 for Black Lebanon by SSSC
She's also been loving the high humidity/rain as she's really starting to gain sizeπShe barely skipped a beat after being topped & a little defoliation. Just letting her branches get a little longer/stronger before i start to pull her side ways more.
She's generally a taller/lankier strain compared to the gelato 41.
With how its been raining i wont be watering her for a while easily until next week if not longer depending how hot its going to be getting as were expecting 33 degrees plus coming in this week.

Good little week, showing some signs of a PH swing in the medium will have to adjust the amount of PH down I add into the mix. I have not been monitoring the PH as it always seems to do just fine. But when I did it this time it was hitting 4.0-4.2 so its a big swing. To bad I only did this after the fact with the left overs. Next week will get no PH down.
Flipped it to flower at the beginning of the week, doing 12/12 on 40% as I might be away for a bit and if my friend needs to take care of the plants I don't want them working about to much DLI. So its getting under fed in light a bit but that's ok. When I am back I can increase it or just leave it as is.
Added in its first dose of Acadie See Weed extract 15ml/gal 0.6-0-6, its recommended dose is 5ml/L so 15ml/1gal is good, also added some more of the Fish Hydrolysate 2-4-0.5 about 7ml/gal, its recommended dose is 30ml/gal every 2-4 weeks so this works out well if I am feeding them weekly.
The one THCv plant by GTR is not doing so hot, it has not grown at all and barley drank anything since last week so I am just leaving it alone and hopes it will bounce back. Everything else is getting nice and bushy.
All the herbs are doing well, cat nip is growing in nice and bushy with the pinching, same with the basil. The dill and cilantro is getting leggy and likely going to chop them and use them in some cooking. got a fish dish that would be nice, turn em into tacos.
Other then that I think that's it.
O yea. The nutrients are all fucked up. It shows me some ml/l options but all the labels are gone so no idea whats happening, any questions just ask.

Week 2.I rearranged a few lights in my grow room to get rid of unnecessary lighting and I also moved my auto flowers to their own separate environment. Only about three more weeks left on the Autoβs and Iβll be done for now. I plan on using a harvest right freeze dryer to cure

Ok start of week 5, as stated in the video I finally got on top of the ph drop. After some research I found that dwc systems can have 2 problems that can create this problem. One is the air it pulls in is to rich in co2 and basically creates acidic resovour but since I have been changing the system weekly I didnβt feel this was my problem. The other reason could be too low ec for the plants. Basically every plant has a natural ec lvl and if the nutrients are below that of the plant it can create an inbalance that leads to ph drop. I upped my nutrients from 1200 to 1400 and since I done that my ph has stayed stable at 5.8. Also had signs of slight light burn so lifted the light. So on we go learning this system day by day. Will say I have seen some great explosive growth since itβs all been stabilised.

The plants grow well in the first week I had 100% germination in the seeds, for a first-time sailor I'm happy. I added the humidifier to keep the humidity at 65%. Now in the second week I increased the quantity of fertilizers but always following the supplier's table and the plants seem to be enjoying their food.

π«The week went great. After the first stress, growth seemed to slow down, but it worked out, the plant began to expand.
I water it every 3 days.
I continue to bend the stem along the axis of the pot.
I bend the branch that will pass through the fastest.
πI started giving supplements late. Only on the 33rd day I gave him fish and everything else.
π Week showed good growth, but it could have been better, let's see what happens with the additives. I continue to twist the stem in a circle (I don't know where to twist it). And I also cut off the leaves a little bit, about once a week, as they block the light (a friend says not to overdo it with defoliation, let's see what happens).π

My second hydro grow and it seems I failed a bit here:
1. Too little defoliation and airflow
2. More light to mid and lower branches.
Low light and low airflow made the buds stretch a lot and be airy, not taking much light made them white and mostly tasteless (cardboard taste). Upper branches brings the sweet taste of this strain up but effects were quite low.
Even thou the high is enjoyable and taste from upper buds are tolerable. Lower and mid buds gone to trash unfortunately.
I'll stop for this Summer with Hydro, but will try my 3th time in winter
