7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I've seen lots of lightning bugs on my camera though and grasshoppers are abundant. Not one growth shoot has been chewed (knock on wood) which is what the earwigs had always done. I watched a video from last year and by nowcthey had lollipopped all lower leaves. It may not be the best weather growing season wise but despite the rh consistently in the 90's I still don't have pm or fungal pathogens. Need to get the BT out. Didn't water as we've had all that rain. I'll water either tonight or tomorrow morning. Sunny high in the 90s low is 66. Tomorrow looks good too. UPDATE WENT BACK OVER AROUND FIVE. IT WAS 88 DEGREES SO I WANTED TO CHECK THE GROW BAGS. THE POTS ARE FINE. IT WAS HUMID AS HELL. ONE PLANT WAS SLIGHTLY DROOPY BUT VERY LIGHT AND DRY. I FOUND TWO OTHERS THAT SEEMED LIGHTER THAN THE REST BUT HADNT DROOPED. I MIXED TWO GALLONS OF WATER WITH 1TSP KANGOROOTS AMD PHED IT CLOSE TO 6. I FED THE 3 PLANTS THAT WERE SUPER DRY LIKE A HALF GALLON AND SPRED THE REST OVER THE OTHER EIGHT PLANTS. THEY WERENT DROOPING BUT THEY WERE VERY DRY. I PLAN ON A FULL WATER TOMORROW. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. I took stills and they all uploaded but didn't fucking save. I'm nit going to keep trying to upload if it's not going to. Noticed a few more holes in leaves and one skeletinized leaf so I need to either spray the bt or something more versatile. I'm putting more poison around the cage and de between the bags. I'll go check things out tonight. Sick of writing a book and uploading to just hace them disappear 7/9 Did a quick video today. Noticed the bags were fairly light despite the plants being soaked amd the pallets wet. I was pressed for time. I gave two gallons to the entire garden. I hope that will hold them over until tomorrow. I'll need to up how much water I give them. Going with a gallon and a half next time. I see more pillar spots and a moth took off when I shook the plants this morning. So I'm gonna have too apply the BT. I figure if I go over before dark tonight I might be able to see aju nocturnal insects around. Luckily my dad feeds the birds and they are always there. I think they help with pests. UPDATE IT WAS A LITTLE COOLER TODAY BUT MICH MORE HUMID. I WENT AROUND SIX TO MAKE SURE THE GIRLS WERE OK WITH WATER AND TO GIVE THEM A TREATMENT OF BT. I WENT THROUGH THE GARDEN ANDCGOUND THREE LEQVES TO DEFOLIATE AND LITERALLY A COUPLE LEAVES ON TWO PLANTS WITH PILLAR HILESM WHEN I ARRIVED TWO BIRDS FLEW OUT. A HORNET CAME IN WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

Start of week 4, had a small problem I turned the mixing pipe on last Monday and forgot to turn it off so they didn’t drink for 3 days. All seem ok now.

Beautiful gas fuelled grapefruit terps with earthy under tones Awesome strain to grow been grow her for about 3 years.. some of the best yields for me from this slurricane ix . 53 huge tops on the 2 lady’s . The crystals colours and terps just get better and better every grow .. adding another futur vert FM8 and a uva bar to the next run ..

Great week 3 for my lovely Gorilla Melon

Day 82 - 12/12/19 So harvest is here and what a journey this has been :) This plant took much longer than the others but paid off at the end with huge colas! Wet weigh was around 400g so im expecting about 60g from this once dried :) Has a slight fruity/spicy taste to it. i wont be able to honestly tell until fully dried and cured though :) Big thanks to RQS for thier amazing genetics and a big thanks to all who helped out along the way! Il update the dry weight when dried and the bud report all throughout curing :) Day 85 - 16/12/19 All buds have been dried and damn it really filled up this 68g jar! i got 64g dry weight of prime buds probably another 10g of popcorn buds that i threw in with the trim. coming into heavy flowering i expected an ounce, after i started adding calmag and pk13/14 the buds exploded. and my expectations raised to about 45g. for it to be 64g at harvest from a 43cm tall plant thats something. A few experienced growers reckoned the high yield was because of polyploidy which i believe is a genetic mutation. i looked it up and i cant say if this is what happened or not. The bud has been dried fully and slower than last time, ive tried to have airflow somewhat around the buds but not too close to avoid drying too quick. Ive only been curing for a day but its so smooth already. ive never tried anything like lowryder which is the makeup of this strain so il have to honestly rate it once cured for a week or so :) but until then i will say its been getting me quite stoned and couchlocked. i definitely harvested near the end of the harvest window. il add a final update once cured for a week so u guys know what this strain is like as a final product. Day 89 - 19/12/19 Ive cured for around a week and ive been smoking the buds and watching christmas movies alot! :'D The curing has developed a nice hit on the throat and more flavour along with burning better in joints and bongs :) ive smoked some exotic strains but i honestly feel this is among the best grown smoke ive had. it just feels so well grown with a smooth burn! i definitely harvested on the later side of the harvest window as buds have mostly amber pistils and smoking them gets me pretty stoned and sleepy! this is great as i have trouble sleeping and relaxing. i havent had this much sleep in a while. while i would say this is fairly average bud i still would rate it a solid 7, sure it might not have a strong exotic smell or flavour but it gets the job done well! and the high yield really impressed me. considering i need to be growing enough to stay medicated the 64g dry weight really made my day! Its very relaxing to know you dont have to struggle to get your medicine! I added a few photos of the best buds in the jar and im really impressed with myself for growing some fat buds! Nov 29: They seem to be accelerating in veg growth but I see a small portion of the leaf on the smaller plant either grew in mutated or somthing cut it, I haven’t seen a single bug in the box so I don’t think it’s that but you never know, and the bigger plant has some issues near the base of its stem, I noticed it before I did the LST and now I’m wondering if I should have addressed that issue before starting the LST. Let me know what you guys think! Dec 2: Walked into the room and noticed a faint smell, wasn’t any smell last night when I started the LST on the slower girl. Further inspection showed some white pistols on the bigger girl, I believe she is the culprit for the smell as the other seems about a week behind. They are both now LST‘d and leaf tucked. Dec 6: I have tied down some of the longer chutes on the bigger plant (will see in week 5 update) to create more airflow and light penetration as I didn’t even realize how bushy the stem and node sections had gotten. I have also cut the chutes coming off the first true leaf. I don’t think I will make any cuts to the smaller one as it’s already a slower growing pheno. Going on a trip starting the end of week secede to late week 8, so I have a automatic feeder coming from Amazon, and I will continue using it through flower to reduce open tent time.

Week 7

Deleafed on D75 and put in darkness for 2days. Chopped and hung in tent for 9 days. Smoked up a fair bit before weighing so easily would of been over 3oz dry which was pretty surprising considering the problems. Bud has a strong fuel taste and smell with a little fruitiness.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 It's my first harvest on this community and I'm loving it. Everyone always ready to help each other and have great feedback. Tracking my grow on here has made it way easier. There were times that I misplaced notes or forgot what I did or when with a certain strain and all I had to do was come on here and check it. Also motivated me take more pictures and do more logs. All out great site. Don't know how I haven't found it earlier. HIGHLY recommend for all growers. The grow cycle went pretty smooth. She's easy to grow and flowers early so you can't do much training. That being said it's great for beginners. 👌 Had no problems with pests on these, while on the other plants (none cannabis) in the balcony I had issues with spider mites. They grew better than expected given the few hours of direct sunlight they received. Results were good, I was expecting 10-15 grams per plant and ended up with a tad bit more. Drying went a bit fast because there were few buds. I probably could have took it down a few degrees as well.. my fault on that part. They dried in 4 days, they've been curing for 10 days. I normally test them after 15 days but they smelled so good I had to try them. Smell: Lovely earthy, woody, slightly like diesel. Quite pungent for being autos. Taste: Just as it smells.. leaving a nice after taste of diesel. Touch: Very sticky, dense buds. They break down finely in the grinder. Cleaned the grinder before testing and after 4 joints ( 2 grams or so) I already have a good amount of kief collected in the bottom. (Check photo) Might grow this one again just to make some bubble hash. The high is awesome nice uplifting, long lasting energetic but without a heavy euphoric rush. Reminds me of a smooth haze high, although if you smoke a lot even being an experienced smoker, she'll get to you. Only down side is dry mouth, very dry mouth! Have some water on hand because your mouth will transform into a desert. 😂 Great strain to kick start the day. Beginner smokers take it easy with this one. She hits hard! 👊

This plant is fo amazing I can’t hardly wait it’s just dripping with rezon and just gleaming in the light just about to stop feeding I’m going to probably flush with just water for 3-4 days then stop watering completely for 3-4 days then early mourning on that last day of dehydration chop chop chop

Very satisfied,candy smelling buds.Thick colas,final week flush atm.Sweet seeds have some serious fire man thats for sure. Looking forward to harvesting this girl

Pineapple Expressx2 (PE), Auto Durban Poisonx3 (ADP): Day 77 from seed. PEx2 Week 3 Flower & ADPx3 Week 5-6 Flower. Environment has been crazy fluctuations from outside weather: Temps 73-90F, RH 45-68%, CO2 500-875, & PPFD 1150-1250. Received a Compost tea to run off this week. All plants looking green and healthy. Flowering nicely. ADP #2, the most mature of the plants, Trichomes are coming along. Over all 55% Milky, 35% clear, 10% Amber. Going to give it another week of ripening and check again. The fade not real strong yet as well. 👌

Wow! What a difference a week can make. The buds are fattening up. The trichomes are exploding and showering everywhere. Finally getting some weight to her, and was able to stabilize them so they did not top it over. Starting to get a little heavy. 😁The wait is over and now just pack on the pound and the nutes. I will keep the humidity in check and night temps lower to help them tighten up . Love to see them change and go through each cycle. They're doing great. Let me know your thoughts. Just started using cha ching. And did some default station last time. I'll do that Happy farming family!
