Both S.A.D. are now also in pre-flowering. They are now starting to grow strongly in height. Everything is growing as I had imagined :-)

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 6 of flower and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiods flowers are exploding now! 9/22- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. She is unfortunately starting to show signs of Septoria which is a bummer, but at least it's showing up late in flower so it hopefully won't affect the outcome too much. 9/24- Our weather has now cooled off dramatically, with daytime highs in the mid 60's℉, and nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 50's℉. As a result I have cut back on the amount of water the Papaya Sherbet photo is receiving daily. 9/26- There's another exciting week of flowering on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and from the looks of her, she only has a couple of weeks to go! Crazy and extremely variable wheater this week but what a runner! In 7 days RG passed the oldest "special kush # 1" growing 2 centimetres a day. Perfectly healthy, I decided not to top her. Starting LTS. Smell will be a problem later.

Moved them inside last week and then chopped one down. Rot was taking over quickly. Buds hadn’t fully formed underneath but the main colas and tops were ok. Bit disappointing but the weather has just been terrible where I am this autumn 😂 what can you do.

Only water filled up again. 💦 Due to the rather humid living soul substrates, a few fungus gnats have appeared, which I will fight next week with SF nematodes.

I tried Nana Glue and wow, it was immediately noticeable how strong it was. The high made me feel quite euphoric and creative at first, then slowly transitioned into a real physical relaxation. Towards the end, I was definitely paralyzed on the sofa, not overly lethargic, but definitely cozy and calm. The smell really surprised me: at first, very gas/diesel notes, plus an earthy, woody component. Sometimes there was also a slightly sour scent, almost like overripe banana. The taste was similar: gas and diesel dominate, with a hint of sweetness, banana, and in some phenotypes I tasted slight dark chocolate or coffee accords. There was also something malty and spicy in the aftertaste.  Visually, the buds look pretty impressive to me: lots of resin, really sticky, dense, thick trichome layer. Green with often darker/purple hues and orange hairs.

Day 42 pistils showing up here and there, tucked a few leaves away from bud sites looking healthy, i expect her to enter bloom in a few days. recieved her nutes today 4L dechlorinated water 12ml bloom A-B rhinoskin,bud candy 8ML

She took off like a rocket. This week she’s definitely growing day by day. I bought a cctv to monitor my plants while I’m not at home. She loves the nutrients I’m giving her. I’ll probably grow her for about 1.5 feet in height and flip her until she can cover the entire 2x2 tent. We’ll see in the next weeks

Beginning of the 10th week of flower. Shouldn’t be too much longer now. I will add some bud and trich pictures this week.

The AK2.0 is one amazing strain. Long fat colas and beautifully structured plants. Like I said earlier. They should be named Bazooka 2.0's. Thanks for the looks and likes my brownies. 🙏

Getting tall. I have light wind blowing on it to strengthen the stem because it will be going outside. I think I'll need to start training it early.

In the beginning of the week she was standing a bit crooked. I will be mainlining soon and I want her central stem to be strong. So I tied her stem to a chop-stick to do a bit of low stress training prior to topping her. Also hit the hydro store and picked up some Fishsh!t and Recharge. Added that, worm castings and some Down to Earth dry amendments to brew up a compost tea. Gave her a big sip on 3/4.
