๐ฟ๐ Week 7: Trichome Wonderland and Final Push! ๐ฟ๐
Hey there! Here's your weekly update with all the exciting developments in my grow:
๐ธ The Smell is Popping: Week 7 brings a delightful aroma to my grow space. The scents are becoming more pronounced and captivating. ๐ฌ๏ธ๐
๐ Colors Galore: The plants are showing off their vibrant colors as the flowers mature. You'll notice burpling on the leaves and the emergence of orange and red hairs on The Queen plant. LOVE IT ! ๐บ๐จ
๐ง pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flower stage, my pH has remained steady at 6.33. That's great! As for the TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the necessary nutrients for your plants. โ๏ธ๐ฑ
โณ Flowering Progress: The Queen is proving to be a quick finisher, with only 46 days of flowering under her belt. She's looking almost ready, and it's time to grab my handy DIY microscope to examine the trichomes closely. Keep an eye for the desired level of ripeness! ๐๐ฟโ
๐ช Oreo Big Stuff: Although not as far along as The Queen, the Oreo Big Stuff will need an additional week of flowering before she reaches her peak. ๐ชโก
๐ฟ Zweet Og: The Zweet Og requires a bit more patience. It looks like it will need at least two more weeks before it's ready for harvest. Keep monitoring her progress and let her mature fully. ๐๐๐ฟ
๐ง Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I currently am facing a problem with drying The Queen. She's positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog, making it challenging to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! ๐ฌ๐ฟ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
๐ฑ Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, overall, I'm extremely happy with how things are going. No herms or other issues have arisen, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to do another run with The Queen, as I already have six clones ready to be transitioned into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ

Day 32 flower update Emerald Harvest nutes everything looks great...they're fattening up this week...they're all 60-70 day flower times as recommended by the breeders

Her growth this week was extraordinary. The extra hours of light works. I will continue her in veg for another 3 weeks. Hoping she is ready before the end of November.

11/20/23 - Day 14 - Today the box flipped to Veg state. I made the decision in the software yesterday, its take effect the next day at the light on schedule.
The system will do a couple of things now that it's in Vegetative mode.
Lights will remain at 18Hrs On/6hours Off, however the intensity will slowly creep from 30% intensity to 100% within a couple of days.
Air Temp will remain the same at 79deg. F
Humidity will go down to 50%
Water temp and PH will remain the same, 64.5deg. F and 6.0Ph
Because I have it all hooked up for Auto water. It started the first video about 1 min after lights on. It drained the water, refilled it. After it refilled it, it turned on the air stone, started the water temp cool down, and it slowly over the next 30 minutes delivered nutes, and finished it off with balancing the PH. All of this was done on its own. I DID NOTHING. Other than verify because why not. I sat back and watched the system work.
This time around with everything hook up for auto I really am not doing much. The hardest part of this grow so far is not opening the door while the light is off.
the rest of the week I don't expect to do much. I will update daily with pictures and things that I am noticing.
This is an Auto strain. I am a little worried about growing an Auto in this box. usually, I can control the growth utilizing the lights because I'm space limited. This time the plants going to flip to flower on its own. I'll need to make sure I am training and cropping early on.
11/24/23 - Day 18 - Everything is starting to get aggressive in there. I say that because the new nodes are growing out of new nodes on the top. It's like its packed full of plant and it all wants to come out at the same time. The leaves have more serrated Leafs than I have seen on any of the other strains I have grown. Ill post a picture of the last time I grew this strain. I did it in Coco Coir. It will be cool to see the differences.
11/25/23 - Day 19 - The Leaves are all reaching up, and the plant is growing so fast! Its such a bushy plant.

Changed light to 12-12 4 days ago keen to see how she goes , already noticed a surge in growth. Same same next week , defol , tie down and feed her up

Lots of growth and a decent amount of bud sites on all girls.
The big girl which I originally thought may be a photoperiod seems to have gone into flower now ๐ค

day 1 - today i got them into their pots. i wartered the soil before i put it into the pot so the moisture is equal in every corner. also i mixed in the bio grow while doing that. from now on they both will be on the balcony only. some rainy but sunny days comeing in the next week but they will like the humidity. i also dryed some coffee grinds and put them on top of the soil. works a little bit for unwanted guests i hope.
day 5 - the past 2 days was a little rainy but the next seem to be way more rainy so we will be haveing a high humidity, thats nice. i hope i do note have to get them inside. until now it worked like that
day 7 - still a little rainy and a little cold for may/june in the past days, so thats why they are a little slow i guess. might also be an auto thing, idk

This week is the start of week 2 for us In flower. Did some trellis nets and added a second one to help train them. They are sitting at 22 inches from the base , I believe them to be taller due to the trellis nets. The ac infinity is dialing In the temp and humidity nicely. Lights sitting at 100% and 25% Ir started this week at 19inches above the canopy. Ph5.6 ppm 1070. Hoping to see some buds form this week.

De-chlorinated tap water today, pH 6 with calmag 7.5ml to 5L water.
Updated with short video. I'm waiting on the lime to finish so I can flip these. So this is last week of veg for her, seriously ๐คฃโ๏ธ๐
Great growth and recovery from last week's final topping and lollipop.
Can't wait to flip, the smell she is starting to produce already as just the base plant is beautiful.

Applied heavy LST as she won't fit in tent otherwise when finished!!
Day 81
22/07/24 Monday
Big feed today using the flower nutes now.
De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutrients.
Checked pH again 6.2 after 20mins. I use advanced nutrients pH perfect for anyone asking.
Noticed sex already, she is throwing out female pistils already ๐คฏ only flipped Friday 19/07/24.
Smell is becoming more noticeable now. Glad she is now in the tent. Will update pictures tomorrow ๐โ๏ธ๐

23/07/24 Tuesday
De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only,
4L -minor small amount run off.
She is getting thirsty ๐
Recovery this week is awesome from final topping I did last week.
She is already colour changing her tops and showing sex pistils ๐

We're slowly getting closer to the end.
This week it was poured 3 times with 1.2 l each (sewing materials see table above)
At the next watering there is a very light rinse with Clean Fruits so that the last nutrients can be slowly used up.
The trichomes are now checked every day.
I'm looking for my microscope with an app so I can take pictures of it ๐.

๐ฑ Day 22 โ Vegetative Stage
Plants are 22 days old from sprout. Overall growth is stable and healthy, with no visible deficiencies or stress. Leaf color is good and new growth is developing normally.
One plant was topped on day 22. So far no negative reaction, and growth is starting to redirect into side branches. The remaining plants were left untouched and will be used as a comparison to observe differences in structure and development.
The substrate is holding moisture well, watering is on point, and the plants are responding positively. No training yet on the others, LST planned soon once the stems thicken a bit more.
Goal is a calm, stress-free veg and controlled plant structure going forward.

They're certainly more comfortable in a foursome.
I trimmed the bottoms.
The girls began to develop faster.
I also added one more drip irrigation pipe to each bush.
