Significant drop in local temps this week 6 of flower. A cold stream hit the area bringing outdoor temps to below 60 F daytime and low 30's F at night. Had to bust out the portable heater, which when adjusted kept 12 hr dark indoor tent temps at about 65 F. I brought the humidity from 55% down to 50%, which has been fairly easy to maintain. No nutrient regimen or training at this point: Super soil with top dressings prior to flipping 12/12 and at week 4 of flower. Defoliation prior to 12/12 flip and end of week four flower. Heavy lifting is over now, so maintaining health is priority #1. I'm using 7 gallon fabrics, so watering is basically once a week (from below and above) to full saturation. It's not quite a full dry-back when it gets hit with another watering. Pheno #2 doesn't particularly enjoy the watering regimen as much as #1 and #3. Going to allow a day or two more of dry back to see if #2 responds better. I believe the other two will not be adversely affected, but will monitor closely. Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants are filling up more and the first pistils start to get brown, which shows the plants start to ripen and go towards harvest time. The smell they exude is STRONG now and VERY PLEASANT. The aroma is sweet, peachy with sandalwood undertones and is MOUTH-WATERING. The plants are TRICHOME MONSTERS and are covered in crystals, any little touch and your fingers stay sticky for hours.

I did defolation the larger leaves. because they were turning yellow. in 2 weeks or 3 should be ready .its nutrition has been only organic ... with earthworm humus and red bird guano.

they are very sticky smelly and all that good stuff. I did a bit more trimming of the fan leafs so all the flowers that are growing can get maxim light coverage. I also used the microscope a bit and i noticed that the tricomes are mostly transparent. The smell is just amazing, very lemony i would say. I would say this is the last week of feeding before doing some flushing. Will have to see if i can flush 1 or two weeks. 09-01-2023 - I fed PH corrected RO water without nutrients.

the roots obstruct the drainage of the system and the water does not descend into the tank easily and the rockwools and roots are flooded, this causes the increase of ph in the reservoir and in the rockwools. this week I hope to solve the problem, for the moment I use a timer for the water pump (15 on 30 off). update: I solved the problem of the roots on the drain by folding the mat on itself with the whole pack of roots descended into the tub, a little rough but functional. but unfortunately I lost almost a week to flush the girls due to the flooding of the root zone I have to start halving the doses of nutrients again ... ... it was a bad week but maybe I learned something 🍀 water pump restored 24/24h Light lifted up from 50 to 90cm Ppfd 1300 > 1000

Pretty easy first grow, with a lot learnt along the way for next time. I believe not defoliating enough and overfeeding the nitrogen in flower hurt the bud density in the end, but I'm more than happy with the returns and as its vape use, dense flower is less important to me.

Still feeding them with Greenpower 7ml/l and i give them around 1.7L every 3 days. Yesterday i added some Great White Mycorrhiza (this stuff is killer!!) to the feeding. i will give the runtz 1 more week and flush it. She is loving the 1000watt light. She is starting to stretch a little. There is 12 tops total. I put the tomatoe cage around her and her sister to help with support and training. Large internodal distances. Couple of calixs have popped up besides the pre flowers. No deficancys or issues, so far east strain to work with.
