It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. Just a few weeks ago we were bundled up in our warmest coats, and now it's finally starting to feel like springtime. With temps in the 40s and 50s, it's the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. My pound cake plant is finally getting somewhere. It's totally weird, because the stems turned this super cool purple color. Soon it's going to be covered in pound cake buds that'll be ready to eat. I'm thinking fancy frosting might be the way to go, but I'm also considering something fruity on top.

Every 5± days from week 5 I suppose I get rid of below leaves and big fan leaves,which don't let the light get to the bottom buds,as was recommended in comments. They react good on that kind of stress and the bottom buds started developing too. Despite the high temperature( 28-30 degrees) they keep on growing and forming buds,happily.

I’m not sure what I have done on theses girls but they defo seem a little Under the weather this week . I feed them at start of the week but only been water from it . Despite whatever I have done the girls are stil growing and showing plenty of budding sights

Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

Grow Journal Week 5: Bloom Phase Progress 🌼 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to share the fifth week of the bloom phase in our grow journal! Here are all the details for Week 5: Weekly Progress It's been a typical week of development for the plants. Not much has happened aside from the usual growth. However, I had to reset my watering system due to an error, which involved removing the mulch layer. Since then, I've been closely monitoring to ensure the watering remains consistent. Watering and Control Systems After resetting the watering system due to an error, everything seems to be back on track. I'm observing the system closely to ensure its consistent performance. Challenges This week, the defoliation process has been particularly challenging, even though it usually goes smoothly. There are just too many fan leaves with trichomes this time. Goals and Expectations I am curious to see how the plants will continue to develop over the next two weeks, as this period will give me a good indication of what to expect at harvest. Chopped the first GG plant will update after it drys and I trim it. The cheese plant that isn't LST probably has another week or so maybe less. The rest have a few weeks slowly making more room in the tent. Only giving water for the rest of the time maybe some cal-mag to help the plants that at burnt (NL, both cheese).

It was a fatigue collecting them, really so much grass as I didn't see it from a while. The most beautiful plant in my opinion, 16 peaks is worked that are all beautiful lined, and big for really.
