Week 8: Steady Bloom & Vacation Prep Update: 10.07.2025 | Day 58 Weather stabilized around 25°C with occasional rain - ideal conditions. Gave another mild dose of dissolved Biotabs + Bokashi juice (1:100). Rain refilled water tanks just in time: Vacation coming up! Midweek my grow buddy takes over (fingers crossed). Here are the main characters: Forbidden Runtz Pure bloom focus now - minimal height gain. Sugar leaves turning frosty daily. Aroma intensifies: Sweet candy meets earthy skunkiness (yes, we're making that a word!). Buds point skyward, thickening noticeably. Pistils showing beautiful color variations - not just white anymore. Green Crack Surprise performer! Bud structure defied expectations: Fewer sites but chunky indica-style nugs instead of wispy sativa candles. Already sticky to the touch with impressive frosting. That glorious mango scent is creeping in - imagine it at peak swell! Easily 3+ weeks left. Bruce Banner She's still stretching like your yoga teacher! Not full bloom yet – new shoots exploding everywhere. Bud sites multiplying like rabbits. Light frost/mild smell now… but genetics don’t lie. FastBuds Tangie flashbacks intensify. This will be explosive soon. Wrap-up: This grow's the anti-stress champ compared to last year's coco/nutrient math marathon. Just observing, responding, and trusting the plants. This week went well, I did some defoliation, as I am trying to keep the bud sites down on this grow, to hopefully get some tighter and denser buds. I did start adding Liquid Kool Bloom which is a P/K booster. I am now feeding at 1.65 EC. They are still stretching a little bit, but really seem to be focusing on flower growth more than anything at this point. Some very nice smells starting to come from the box. this week was great, the V1 arrived through a lot of logistical nightmares. its the final test before mass production- i will post another dairy for it but please have a look at the pics above. ive created a stylish subtle, modern way to grow 4 plants. this will be great for all levels and will save big on energy and nutrition. you just have to prune, it can even draw water into itself. anbd its 4 plants!!! stick here and youll see it in action. ive decided to change the order in tents. now we have super strong Purple berry Kush with the returned and super strong sweet seeds Sweet cherry pie. so one tent is the strong, and the other tent is now perma auto flower, which serves for additional veg for girls who fall behind their grow peers. hope that makes sense. i think my net is pretty useless other than a visual to plan nodes. i guess the real support will come from placing more plastic rods around the colas and fastening them. hope Christmas was kind to everyone. this oncoming week will be the last week of veg i think for tent two and we flip to flower. thanks for looking.

Same old same old. No changes this week at all. Having changed it up to watering every day has made a huge difference and this plant is really bulking. My guess will be another 2 weeks till chop time. The smell is very strong and when rubbing a leaf I still pick up a fruit smell.

I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). The Cream & Cheese CBD is looking very nice and she smells great! I am looking forward to watching her stretch and bloom under the new 1000w HPS. Then I'm really looking forward to the results. I'll definitely get her tested and hope the specs are even close to true. 20%'ish for both THC and CBD sounds too good to be true, but fingers crossed that's what she actually brings! I transplanted the photos from the 3 gallon grow bags to 7 gallon fabric pots. And also purchased some Pot Elevators that they are sitting on. The Plant Elevators are pretty cool, they have a mesh base to allow better drainage and air flow to the bottom of the pots. I have clones of all of the photos cut and planted in Jiffy pellets in a humidity dome. I took 3 clones of each. The strongest clones will become mothers, the others will be grown out. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.
