Overall this was a good second grow. The initial defoliation was key in getting the nice density I missed out on last time. These plants went through the bloom cycle using a reservoir (5 gallon bucket) and drip irrigation system exclusively. Once I got the correct timing done for the watering, this setup was really great; I was able to go about 1-2 weeks between water refills, so it was easy leave for a couple of short stints with no negative effects on the plants. The one major thing I'd like to work on for next time is the drying process. I'm not sure if I cut the branches too small, if the room was just too dry, or if I just let them go too long (I had to leave for 9 days, and they were drying the whole time). While the curing has helped them get a little moisture back, the actual drying left the buds pretty crispy.

Back again, Growmies — with a certain someone who absolutely soaked the soil of his freshly transplanted plants, causing a minor nutrient lockout. 😅 Anyway, I got the airflow going, let the pots dry out properly, and now we’re back on track. Plants are responding well again. Only 2 Pistles are showing very early flower. Plant doesn't seem to be getting any taller this is a genetic issue I think. Going to a different breeder next run. I think they are white label genetics.

Apple Fritter is growing good. I applied frest lst, and a defoliation. She is growing in a 5 gallon New Level Hydro bucket. Under a Spider Farmer SE5000 at 60 percent power right now. Another good week..aromas is more intense..tricomes are cloudy..started flushing the ladies a few days ago. Definitely should be harvesting sometime next week..also my 4×4 grow tent came in the other day..got the ladies in it with the HLG scorpion over them..not full power..dimmed to 50%..ill wait til my next run to see what that baby can really do. Welcome to my Crocketts Confidential diary. I am currently week 5-6 with 5 plants in a smaller 2x3 grow tent. I currently have a 150 true watt LED light about 20 inchs overtop. These girls are something different. Very short distance between nodes. The smell is also unlike anything I have experienced. These girls are putting off a smell stronger than my flowering tent, its crazy! Almost a earthy/skunky smell. Im excited to see how these will respond once we hit the 12/12 cycle. Before that though I want there to be a somewhat significant stretch in veg. UPDATE: I changed out the blurple blue/red LED for a one with more of a fuller spectrum, and honest to god they exploded within hours. Excited/anxious/nervous to see what happens over the next few days, I'm sure this tent will be full very soon now.
