This week I decided to recruit my husband to get a proper look at this girl's roots. She's gotten so damn big that it's impossible for me to get a shot otherwise. Her root ball is massive. She's large and in charge. I went through and gave her another thorough round of defoliation. What I removed was any droopy leaves in the underbrush, as well as any fan leaves that were casting shadows and blocking light from my bud sites. When I was finished, I was able to stand over my plant, look down, and visibly see through to the base of my plant and grow media. Being able to do this suggests to me that my light source is also able to penetrate down throughout the plant as well. The removal of these leaves also contributed to improved air circulation and decreased humidity - both which are important as we progress through the flowering stage. This week I also caught my first whiff of this plant's sweet aroma. I'm excited to see how her terps develop over the upcoming weeks! 😋😋😋 I cloned another branch off this plant. So this week she has started to really put on some chub. She's frosty like a frosty flake. I also just love her light green. Super super light green. But strong dark green healthy leaves still no sign of stress (although I can't really know deeper than what I can see- she might be mashing for some KNF shit-which I rate all plants probably are). I wanted to use supplements like OHN ( Oriental Herbal Nutrient), FPJ (Fermented plant Juice) and trying to create more living soil but I was just very busy with work at this point and did not get to making the pro-biotic supplements. Next grow I have already made some ferments and intend on making more to aid nutrition during the next ladies that get laid. But Maria's got about 11-12 Big colas, but looking back I would maybe have continued to try to keep the heads a little further apart so more light could break through to the lower nodes. I also think an investment in a proper HPS bulb-reflector would do wonders, I was using a homemade foil device to reflect light back down to the plants (NOT EFFICIENT, or sexy, but ay.)

Shes still hanging in there. Poor thing. I soooo regret not letting her veg longer. Shes green again!!! This is the best shes looked since transplanting. What a trooper she is! This is a very resilient plant

Getting slightly confused on how quickly RC#1 has grown! I'm looking at other diaries and these look about 2 weeks ahead! RC#2 is a little behind but should be at this level in a week. I'll add more pics this week. No issues atall this week, I check in the morning, water in the evening. That's it... for a first grow this has been a breeze. 28.08 (day 52) RC#2 seems to of picked up some pace again. I'm wondering if some defoliation shocked her for a few days. I think RC#1 has about 2.5 weeks left 01.03 (day 54) Both have had alot of defoliation this weekend as I could see the humidity has started to creep up slightly. No issues atall. All of the girls (x7) are now on bloom nutrients. RC#1 has been tappered down on nutrients as it's quite possible she will be ready to chop in less than 2 weeks, still amazed how far she is ahead of RC#2 who is only just really starting to properly show formation of flowers, so I'm guessing she will go the full 10-12 weeks. Overall I'm impressed with the RQS seeds, grow has been easy based on I only graduated from my YouTube masters degree in growing in 3 weeks! Lol.

Banana kush autoflower was a okay grow. She was very hungry and threw my ph off several times. So she had some leaf damage through flowering. She had more potential then I got out of her. Still a good grow and lots of sweet flower. I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).
