Smelling really nice, stacking has started, monkey nutrients for the win

This OGgelato is a champ! Not the heaviest producer, but its been a real pleasure and was easy to grow. No matter what nutrients I throw at her, or aggressive pruning, she bounces right back. This week I found bud rot on one of my other plants in the greenhouse but this plant has so far been resistant and is healthy. I thinned the canopy and defoliated out quite a bit to create more air flow. I now have fans on 24/7 and sprayed with a mycorrizhal fungicide that suppresses botrytis. Also this week I have stopped pulling the tarp on and off each night (for total darkness) because it seemed to trap in too much humidity at night. The humidity outside has been 80-90% for over a week! And the rain was so heavy all last week. This week is slightly warmer with less rain so hoping we can make it. The trichomes are starting to get milky. I imagine I have 1-2 weeks left but am not sure. This has been a pleasurable experience for sure, but this is stressful right now! The smell is so strong you can smell it on my block. You can see *everything* from the alleyway adjacent to the greenhouse. I'm worried about mold and thiefs and can not wait for this to be dried and in jars!

Day 50 - Nearly at her end, some pretty buds have formed showing pink/red colours. Trichomes were checked and they are showing pretty much all milky white at the moment, I saw a few Amber but I'd like to see atleast 30% Amber before they get harvested. The buds are rock hard and full of unique smells which I hope translates to the flavour profile. I will be flushing these girls for the remainder of the grow which shouldn't be too long now. Keep a close eye as I will be uploading some more pictures and videos. Hoping to do a photo shoot once all is ready. Both clones are Hermi they have had low stress at most havent a clue to why they turned hermi there momma was female 100 percent .ive managed to find all bulbs over 20 throught the plants and plucked them out last week but today i found 2 open male flowers pinched them off tightly hoping not to spread or let any pollin get airborn .Crossing my fingers i havent missed any male parts . Other than that these plants got over 5' tall durring the stretch .only expected them to reach 4' must be because they turned hermi there going to produce alot of long fat buds if i can keep the male flowers from opening its alot to monitor so probably impossible to do so but ive got to try' The june heat of summer is brutal cant keep my day temp under82 and when it does my rh goes up to 59 only have a swamp cooler and it doesnt get under 79 in the room outside the tent so my lights run at night and go dark during the hottest time of day wich is 80 at best for july and auga😡st are my worst months without A/C its 105 outsid now and will climb to 120+ in aug. ill be lucky if theres any trycombs left by mid july when its ready to harvest .

We should come to a finish this week... oh the excitement. Can't wait to see WG without her leaves. Going to have to cut each branch and hang individually due to the density of its structure. Got this far, don't want to risk moldy weed.. damn I'm gonna get bored while drying/curing not having a plant or diary to occupy the time. Day 77- currently flushing the girls. GC isn't ready for it, but she isn't in charge here. She should have stuck with WG when she extended a helping hand. Since falling behind, WG has thrown up a peace sign to GC as to say "see ya sucker". It's my favorite bud by far on WG. Bitch has got an attitude 🤣. RES sitting at 87ppm @5.9. Yellowing has started.. going to have to check trics more often so I get that sweet spot I'm looking for. ======================================================================================================== Day 78- these girls are starting to stink! Come on WG... ripen up so we can get this over with.. lowered lights power a bit today. RES climbed from 87 to 137. Drained 2gal, added 2gal RO. down to 38ppm. Forgot to mention the ice probe has been unplugged for over a week now. Been putting a 3/4 full 1L frozen bottle in the RES to chill. Rotate out every 12hr with a fresh. At lights on, and 12hr later. Full bottle got Temps too low for my liking. ======================================================================================================== Day 79- tick tock.. tick tock.. come on WG.. she's showing a little fade on her leaves. Seeing more of a calcium difficiency on her fans than fading honestly. Trichomes taking their time ripening as well. I'm SURE this strain ambers up.. taking their time for me though.. dont know how long I feel comfy flushing hydro though.. I did notice a few exploded trichomes up top, which has me thinking I need to go ahead and chop within the next couple days. If I notice any more ruptured anywhere else I haven't poked it with the scope.. I'm hanging the bitch that night. May give her 24hr dark period, since I've tried some other bro-science and it seemed to help. *edit* felt bad starving WG and she's not more amber coated. Gave her a bit of nutrition tonight. GHE aggressive ripen. M-2.8mL/g G-2.8mL/g B-4.5ml/g and 5mL calmag (using RO). Came out high @ 867 so I pulled 2L and dumped 2L RO in. Sitting at 613 @ 5.9. ======================================================================================================== Day 80- well, the 3 days starving the girls kicked their metabolism back in gear. I want more amber before chop chop. They quit eating and were drinking MUCH less signaling the end. Was down to topping off once a day, maybe a liter to a liter and a half. Since feeding yesterday, they've started eating and drinking like they were on week 10 again. Topped off 3.5L in the last 16hrs. TDS dropping with water level, even more when topped off with straight RO. I'm not giving em any more nutes. Last push for some extra weight before the end. ALLOT more frosty today than yesterday as well. ======================================================================================================== Day 81- Started flushing again. Maybe starting their metabolism again will help ripen these trics. If not, they're getting chopped @ day 84. Don't want to let em go too long and regret it. I may have f'd em up feeding again after the 3 days starving. Time will tell ======================================================================================================== Day 83- still waiting... 💤 Going to order some bubble bags. Freezing all GC and trim/larf from WG for some bubble hash. 03/22 - (M) - She is perfectly - Her numbers are spot on and the feeding schedule seems to be dialed in perfectly - I will increase her carbohydrate feeds with the Raw Cane Molasse to increase terpene production. 03/22 - (C) - Hit a little snag with the babies last week and through off their PH/EC/PPM's - Gave them a hard flush yesterday (Only distilled water) to stabilize the numbers and got all of them down to optimal levels. Did some defoliation on the yellowing leaves. I will upload both night and day shots for this week for the babies 03/23 -(C) - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs WHABAMMMM!!! they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎

Here we are ( WEEK 5 ) The time is flying bye, Ladies are getting big had to buy more bamboo stakes to hold the girls up! 💪 The smell is very strong when opening the tent, buds are frosting up nicely 👌 I could not be more then happy with this grow. Got these beans from a festival and they are from 501 genetics based in Thailand (or malaysia i stand corrected apologies) and these are fire 🔥 hope and pray i got seeds so i can experience this journey once more. Fire 501 Genetics well done

Week 10: I loved growing this strain, it smelled so fruity while the buds were on the plant. Towards the end of flowering the buds looked sugar dipped as described on the website. The sap from inside the stems smells like skittles and sugar lol which was a nice surprise! Most pistils are Amber so idk what the THC/CBD ratios are going to be. Il give an estimate once buds are cured for 2 weeks or so! So I’ve managed to get some street weed to compare alongside my own weed and I’ve added the pictures to the harvest so you guys can see them. I tried to pick the best street weed from about 4 varieties so here we go... The street weed is called Wedding Cake, my weed is obviously Smoothie and I suppose what I want to know is how the street weed looks, does it look healthy? Any guesses as to how it was dried or cured if even? The first noticeable thing is that the street weed stems are huge and the sugar leaves seem to be left on the plant to dry too. Although I did leave sugar leaves on this time I feel that it’s not very professional. I have smoked a joint of the wedding cake and it’s not all that great, feel a bit sedated/couch locked but not high or happy if you know what I mean :) but yeah please let me know what you think in the comments :) Curing Update: (1) Been curing for a week and buds are definitely smoking much better now, the taste and burn still isn’t amazing as it needs a few more weeks curing but it’s unique and exotic. It’s very strong when it comes to THC, because it still needs further curing you could smoke a whole joint and think damn that’s still too fresh to get me blazed. By the end of the joint you would be struggling to keep a conversation or stand up, Stoned eyes that even eye drops won’t cure :’D and it’s also a real head high in my opinion, audio/visuals definitely enhanced too, everything is extremely bright, sharp and sounds great! I don’t really care about time of day smoke as i could need something stronger at different times for pain etc but this is definitely a Nighttime smoke, it hits so hard that the best thing you can do is put on some music and close your eyes or watch a movie. An amazing strain for zoning out entirely into some chill music and if you need weed to deal with strong physical or mental pain or sleep problems then I would recommend giving this a go as so far it has been a lifesaver for me. Curing Update: (2) So I think the buds have been curing for just over 2 weeks now and they are looking great and smoking pretty well too. A few more days drying wouldn’t have hurt them but I’m not worried as my Blue Cheese and Pineapple Express harvests are just around the corner! I added some lovely photos and a video to show you guys how it looks And I’m just about to blaze up a joint from the last photo and tell you all how it smokes too... (Lights up joint) Slightly damp on lighting it up although it burns near perfect. Instant hit on the back of the throat with smooth/mango flavors. I feel a bit dizzy quite quickly and want to sit down and listen to music after a few tokes followed by a relaxed or mellow feeling. I’m about halfway through the joint now and I’m pretty stoned. Definitely sweet and smooth like blueberry also sherbet sweet like mango! I’m almost finished my joint now and I suppose to sum up I’d say that it’s much like the blueberry smoothness you expect mixed with the strength from a well grown mango. I felt that the effects are great if your in a nice comfortable setting, get relaxed, be creative, watch a movie or even get ready to sleep. I would avoid anything that requires a lot of effort. Personally I’ve had minimal problems with getting to sleep and with anxiety while taking this throughout the day and would highly recommend it! It’s the best thing I’ve grown so far :) Il leave a final review on the buds in 2 weeks, until then take care and happy growing! Curing Update (3) - 05/03/20 So I’ve finished the smoothie buds and I have to say they were great. The only negative was it’s my first time drying buds with trim and they could have done with a little longer drying. I made some canna butter from 3G of trim and 2.25g of bud. I made ginger cupcakes with salted caramel icing. You guys can see it cause I added a photo. I can only eat 2 per day with a heavy tolerance - sedative cupcakes hahah. Another never ending vege week. I took clones and did more trellis work. The PH was up more than usual, they are still alive. I'm glad.

Sorry guy I’ve been very busy ... but my girls are still looking healthy

Was facing some difficulty when it came to lighting (what brand, wattage, output range, full spectrum etc.) Did a watering today with a mix of Epsom salt & purified water which was the 1st nutrient mixture since my ladies been in the soil. A couple of changes made since I've joined GD is I changed the distance of lights to plant (was @ 14-18 now 20-24 inches away thanks for that folks) lighting schedule is still on a 18/6hr. Another trick I choose was the water used...it's either rain water or artesian water both help eliminate unwanted pH unbalance. This is my 1st grow and Im going to post more photos of the entire setup. If you guys&gala have any other helpful tips for a better grow lmk. I also wanted to do a LST on my autos but not quite sure when to do, they're currently coming out of week 2 into week 3 vegg mode. Every tip and hint helps so let em fly.

Going well

I gotta say these last few weeks have been pretty smooth. They just really started swelling up this week I think. I started the flush but noticed the leaves haven’t really been praying lately and some have been clawing. I’ve only been giving ph water since last week. They also don’t seem to be fading either 🤷‍♂️. Anyway I’m going to take them into week 9 and chop em start of week 10. By then maybe I’ll see some fading
