The node spacing remains tight, and the plant is developing a very dense structure from the top-down view. The fan leaves are wide, lush, and a healthy dark green, showing that she’s soaking up the light and converting it efficiently into rapid growth. Acapulco Gold has grown out of control, the lights can't go up any further, and the plant is burning on the LED's. This really is a massive plant. Let's hope the smoke is good, as it looks like there will be a substantial amount here by the end! 😅😁👌 I have been turning the plant around to try and minimize the damage from the heat and light. Other than that, the plant is looking really good, this is going to be a long one for sure! 😼Wk15: Surprise! This is the right time. 👉This week’s journal is only the days that lead up to the harvest which happened mid to late in the week. Since the harvest process takes more than a couple days, and it happened late in the week, I will be making one more week with the harvest process after the buds are dried to 20-25% (hopefully) and in jars. I should have all the final specs for the grow. 👉The 1 gallon plan was not even absorbing much fluid. The saturation volume of the media was getting smaller each day it seemed. It would take over 5 minutes to be able to pour 1.5 liters of solution into the pot. The run-off would also end very quickly as compared to all other plants I grew. I surmise this is due to the roots packing the pot and compressing the media very tightly, not allowing it to absorb much solution. The light sweet caramel aroma is now replaced by what I would call the strong generic funky stank of weed. While there is nothing extraordinary about the aroma, it’s so strong that you can smell it outdoors (its vented outside from second story window). Even with, medium to strong winds you can catch whiffs of it. Smells like heaven to me! Super frosty buds. Only a couple buds had any fresh calyx’s with white pistols. During my trichome hunting expeditions I see very few amber. But those are not what Im hunting. Im looking for the majority of the trichomes to be cloudy. I believe by mid-week all the buds had mostly cloudy trichomes with a few clears left. Harvest came on day the 3rd day of the week. 👉The 3 gallon plant was consuming less fluid. It was easy to fertigate it with 3l of water. The EC was spiking very quickly and would not come down very much. The run off would fall back in range but be above target the next fertigation event. I figured it may just be the densely packed roots in the pot. With the pH runoff going in the opposite direction as the 1 gallon plants run-off and I was wondering what was causing the difference. Even though the lowest leaves look a little like the plant was over watered, I continued the high volume of fertigations. I did reduce the EC somewhat. I was giving it week 10 mix on the GHE mix chart for drain to waist mix. The leaves looked crappy, but the buds were looking awesome. The plant had the same light creamy caramel aroma when sniffed up close, but the strong aroma of stanky funk was the permeating odor that filled room. I had only done some light scouting for the trichomes on the plant and each time saw more cloudy tips. I wasn’t sure but by Tuesday the trichomes looked at least 50/50, which is a little further along than I thought it would be. After harvesting the 1 gallon plant I had room to pull the plant out and rotate it and give it an exhaustive scan for a more complete idea of how much time it had. When I rotated it, I didn’t notice it at first. Then I focused on it as the top of a cola was brown and the leaves around it were all dried. “Oh fuck!” I shouted. It was like someone had walked up behind me and jabbed me in the ribs and yelled "BOO"! I was startled and even jumped out of my chair. I then did a double and triple take to make sure my eyes weren’t being grizzled or bent. I then grabbed the branch cutters and took that branch. I searched the cola and it was isolated to the top 3 inches of this fat pine cone. I snipped it below that group of bud and removed it from the house, took it out back in the field and stabbed it, shot it and set it on fire (only in my imagination). I then washed and sanitized my hands, returned to the tent and inspected some of the larger colas, pulling them apart and looking to the center for nasty pestilence. Fortunately I didn’t see any. I didn’t have time to harvest it right then and there, but I did on Friday night. I knew I wasn’t out of danger yet though. These buds are pine cones and very dense. I was afraid Id see the same thing I saw in my Critical purple and lose all the best buds. I wouldn’t know until the harvest was complete, with the buds curing in the jars. 🙀

Shes a mutant and i love it.

As usual Moscow Blueberry is growing fast and hardy, and the Strawberry Cheesecake is happy in her early flowering stage. She’s starting to smell a good bit, and her terp profile so far smells like sweetened coffee! French Macaron’s growth is speeding up now that it’s gotten the chance to grow into its pot. I’m concerned with Northern Lights, as the new growth is twisted and weird. Hopefully I’ll figure out the cause by the end of the week or it may solve itself once the twisted leaves grow out more.

Hola gente, como va? Bueno, gracias a que estoy cada una hora o dos mirando la planta, me di cuenta que una de las puntas estaba blanca pero "rara". La saque afuera para que aproveche el sol y le de mas viento, y ahi vi el hongo como se puede apreciar en el video. Gracias a dios fue en solo esa punta, ni siquiera en la rama entera, asi que me fije hasta donde lo habia "tomado" y corte. Un amigo que estudia quimica, medicina y le gusta mucho la biologia me dijo que el Botrytis no es un hongo patogeno (o algo asi) y que con calor ya es posible matarlo, no es tan perjudicial como muchos dicen/piensan. Cuestion que para "matar" el hongo prendimos el horno a una temperatura que pudieramos meter la mano y no quemarnos, lo apagamos y en una fuente pusimos el cogollo con el hongo, y dejamos hasta que se enfrie solo. Repeti el proceso 2 veces mas (siempre calentando antes de meter el cogollo) y quedaron hechos una piedra, no cedieron en ningun momento cosa que a pesar de perder una cabeza, me puse contento por no ceder en tamaño. Cuestion que una parte se salvo sin hongo, y no tuvimos otro remedio que fumarla jajaja Realmente es una locura muy intensa, como que te deja con la cabeza la parte frontal (atras de la frente) como vibrando, te deja muy loco, pero si te pones a hablar, no te perdes, enganchas todos los temas que quieras, todo esto sin secar bien y sin curar! Conclusion: Para el proximo cultivo voy a agregar otro ventilador, uno para extraccion y otro para intraccion asi no me vuelve a aparecer el hongo. Saludos!!

Mañana nublada, mañana de porros y música junto a esta gitana agradecida, hace cuatro días cambié el horario a floración 12/12h. Después de una semana donde he hecho tres riegos profundos (4,7L) con componentes variados y dirigidos a estimular el cultivo, la planta está respondiendo espectacularmente... esta gitana a perdido la timidez! ahora crece, se fortalece y orgullosa se esfuerza por alcanzar a sus compañeras de cultivo mayores, y no dudo que lo consiga! En el último riego he estrenado dos nuevas fórmulas de Bio Fertilizantes que puse en fermentación anaeróbica con Microorganismos Eficientes y enzimas hace casi un año y que abro ahora, el primero basado en la disolución de tres tipos de algas (Bio Algas EM) para usarlo en cualquier momento del cultivo como Bio estimulante, el segundo con una combinación de Guanos de ave y Murciélago donde disuelvo principalmente el fósforo y también el resto de macro/micro nutrientes y los ácidos húmicos de esta materia prima excepcional, lo comienzo usar al final de la etapa de crecimiento vegetativo hasta el final del cultivo, en combinaciones de riego con otras fórmulas fuertes en potasio... a jugar!! Un dato: la semana pasada hice, llevado por la pasión, las ganas y el colocón, varias aplicaciones foliares en días consecutivos con una mezcla explosiva de mi Hidrolizado Enzimático de Sangre Fresca (Aminoácidos y Nitrógeno 70%) con Lacto Fermento multi frutas NPK... La primera aplicación en todas las plantas fue espectacular, continué aplicando como si no hubiera mañana, y conseguí bloquear varias plantas y quemar muchas hojas... pero esta planta resistió como la mejor, y ahora se impone mientras sus compañeras se recuperan! El paso a floración es como nuestra entrada en la adolescencia, la revolución hormonal que la planta experimenta es similar a la nuestra, y como tal, hemos hecho una fiesta gitana para celebrar la vida que le espera esta chica andaluza... Coming down the stretch. They indeed smell like a sweet danky frozen coke. Sticky. I held back on the defol to see what they would do. So I’m anticipating some underdeveloped buds but we’ll see. May defol heavy the last week.

I currently have the ladies drying in my dry tent on day 3 now. I have my temperatures around 61-63 degrees stable, with 50-60% RH fluctuating. Will be updating the diary with weights once they finish drying and I get them all trimmed up! I ended up with 18.3 ounces of nicely trimmed buds, and a ton of larf and trim (26 ounces) which is fine because I will be dry sifting and pressing on the nugsmasher! I did press out a little and have some work to do to figure that thing out and dial it in. I have learned a ton from this grow and look word to applying to my current grow. I see and have a much better understanding of feeding, training, and now I kinda see what is and is not going to developed that much. Going to give these girls time to cure. Will update. 02-02-2026 Third week of 12/12 for Colombian Gold. Her buds are developing nicely, she has nice, white hairs. I saw some brown tips but didn’t find any herming in the tent. It’s probably some stress or me touching the plant. It’s quite crowded in the tent! I defoliated her today big time. I didn’t know where to start so I started cutting some branches. Cutting branches hurts! Some of them where lime green, have never seen any light in their short lives. I also found some dried leaves. She already started defoliating herself a bit 😉 It’s a pity I forgot to take some pictures before defoliating, but the short video gives an impression of her bushy structure. I love how she grows ❤️❤️💚💚💛💛

Sorry for the delayed post I honestly forgot I started this one lol...they’re doing great I had some of those biodegradable starter pots that I used n prolly let them stay in too long tbh but now they’re both in their new homes! One is all coco and the other is top-half coco/bottom-half soil..thanks for reading/looking

Week five in flower and not much change. The buds are starting to bulk up and get fat. I have noticed a color shift in the bud as well. They are developing a pink/purple hue with a gray undertone. It’s an unusual color because it’s very pastel looking. Frost production is still on high, these things are coated like crazy already. Magnesium issue has now stopped, I’ve been adding 1/16 teaspoon of magnesium sulfate to the water every time to keep up with the demand for this large plant. Smell is very strong and hits you hard when you open the tent. When rubbing the bud I pick up a fruity pebbles smell. So far watering every other day and she is sucking down about a gallon a day of water. Run off pH was reading 6.5 which has been spot on this entire grow so far.

So this week she has started to really put on some chub. She's frosty like a frosty flake. I also just love her light green. Super super light green. But strong dark green healthy leaves still no sign of stress (although I can't really know deeper than what I can see- she might be mashing for some KNF shit-which I rate all plants probably are). I wanted to use supplements like OHN ( Oriental Herbal Nutrient), FPJ (Fermented plant Juice) and trying to create more living soil but I was just very busy with work at this point and did not get to making the pro-biotic supplements. Next grow I have already made some ferments and intend on making more to aid nutrition during the next ladies that get laid. But Maria's got about 11-12 Big colas, but looking back I would maybe have continued to try to keep the heads a little further apart so more light could break through to the lower nodes. I also think an investment in a proper HPS bulb-reflector would do wonders, I was using a homemade foil device to reflect light back down to the plants (NOT EFFICIENT, or sexy, but ay.)

Beautiful pair of haze berries, both phenos #1 and #2 showing strong healthy roots and big leafs, can't wait to flower this ladies out, I Transplanted the plants after 17 days of being planted on February 2nd because the roots were super well developed and I considered that it was the right time to do so. So now they are in their new 11l house.
