done a defoliation on both the girls to get a nice air flow though into the canopy, as I was pulling down one of the main stems on the BPP I cropped it, not intended to snap the branch.

Always dry trim. The leaves come off more easily when dry and it preserves more THC with the longer drying time. Will weigh up in 7-10 days. Smoke report. Tastes like strong grape juice when you hit it. Very smooth and easy on the throat. Pretty much gave me instant relaxation and relief from my depression. Seems like a good morning smoke which I love. The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. i used a low dose because for my plants even half strength is often too much, this saves nutrients tho. Around 825ppm, 18 DLI, Ph 6-6,25 thanks to FastBuds and Terra Power!

Les plantes ont toutes arrêter de grandir et on voit bien la différence de taille entre la haze et les runtz. J'ai quelques problèmes avec Noman, les pointes des feuilles sont marron, je pense que c'est dû à suralimentation donc je vais les laisser au repos de nutriments pour voir si ça continue. Mais à part ça tous va bien, j'ai de plus en plus hâte de la goûter et d'en faire pousser encore pleins d'autres

They completed second week of flowering. They keep on happily stretching and groing beautiful colas. To avoid further stretch and increase DLI, I am dialing in to level 9 on my lamp and keeping it still at 60 cm distance. This week, I will just leave the lamp at the same height and let them decide how close they want to come the light source. Humidity is fluctuating between 52-55%.. Temp is 22-26 Celsius. VPD is relatively constant around 1.40s except for very rainy days where my dehumidifier comes into play. PPFD is increased to ~1050 uMol this week. If they don’t like it, I will just dial back to level 8.

Sie entwickelt sich sehr gut. Vom Topping hat sie sich erholt und ist insgesamt kräftiger geworden. Kommende Woche nach den Eisheiligen wird sie noch einmal verpflanzt in ihren endgültigen Topf. Sie zeigt sehr breite, indicalastige Blätter, meist verändert sich das in der Blütezeit. Ansonsten ist sie gesund und zeigt keine Mangelerscheinungen, wird allerdings kommende Woche vor dem Umpflanzen mit einer Portiopn Vinasse und Seetang auf das Umpopfen vorbereitet werden.

Still in the HPS tent but now they are under the LED again and doing pretty well as the roots are filling the pots out they are eating faster. Did a couple foliar feeds with the Growzyme at less than 1 ML/Gal which they seem to like. Hoping to get a little more vertical growth before they kick into flower. Also been doing some bottom feeding which I have been experimenting with a little bit. It seems to increase rate of growth and the plants seem a little happier when I do a few feeds like that in a row. Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Although she is indica, she still grows. 9 cm in 3 days. So i guess this is the reason her buds are a bit behind. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only WC drank pure water because of burns. She grow 13cm in 4 days. An indica pheno stretches like she is in preflowering stage. And this i think is happening. At start she took a lot of air and maybe she felt cold. So, now she started again to develop. I make a prediction that her buds will be really fat. She is very healthy and responses absolute perfect to the nutrient schedule.

There haven't been many visible changes this week, but the plant continues to mature day by day. The trichomes keep developing and the aroma becomes deeper and more expressive as harvest gets closer. The last weeks of flower are always a balancing act for me. Past experiences with bud rot make me cautious, but at the same time I don't want to harvest too early and miss out on the plant's full potential. I'm still learning to find the sweet spot between playing it safe and letting the plant finish naturally.
