week 5 flowering - No herms, strong aroma, and THC production! 🌿🌸🌱🔥
Hello, fellow growers! It's time for another thrilling update on my flourishing journey. We've officially entered week 5 of the flowering phase, and things are looking absolutely fantastic. Here's what's been happening in my grow room:
The most exciting news is that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditic plants thus far. It's a relief to see the ladies staying true to their gender and focusing solely on bud development. 🚫⚡️
The aroma emanating from the grow room is simply amazing! The fragrance has become more pronounced and enticing, filling the space with the delightful scent of resinous goodness. It's a testament to the terpene profiles of these strains. 🌿👃🌸
Additionally, the THC production is in full swing! The buds are swelling and becoming denser by the day. It's truly a sight to behold, and I can't wait to see how they'll develop further as we progress through the flowering stage. 🌿🌱🌸💪
While the plants are thriving, I've noticed a slight nutrient burn on the tips of some leaves. To address this, I've decided to dial back the nutrient concentration a bit for this week. It's important to maintain a careful balance and avoid overfeeding, especially during this critical phase. 💧💚
As for the nutrient solution, the pH has remained stable at 6.33, ensuring optimal nutrient uptake by the plants. The TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) level has been consistently maintained between 1150 and 1250, providing the plants with the necessary nutrient balance. ⚖️📈

Allowing her today, then Saturday she will be 24 hrs dark 🌑 and chop Sunday.
She is incredible, black and purple buds, leaves to match, coated, I mean sugar laced looking like tony Montana ❄️ sneezed on my grow, she is glistening with trichomes, seeing some amber's now.

Everything went alright so far, plants looking healthy. Pistols coming out, buds preparing to grow.
I did a defoliation 2 days ago and removed all lower branches that are not really covered in light

Cut a few clones to Secure the genetics rooting them in the eazy cloner

Overall this plant was great to grow, she just grew and was happy doing it the entire time, pretty good yield off a plant that was only about 12inches tall. Seemed to be a lot more resistant to deficiencies then the other two strains this grow. Definitely a great mid-day Smoke!

So this is going to be the last week of veg for my ladies and I think ill be flipping by Wednesday "ish". A fair bit has happened in the last week, I managed to split the main stem.of the dark phoneix the other day being a bit too rough with her, thankfully the split went straight down the middle.and didn't even make her droop or wilt at all, 2 cable ties and some.string and she's right as rain again lol. Really want that break to heal before flipping her so I can get those cable ties off the main stem before the stretch! Last thing I want is her growing into them and making it impossible to remove.
I managed to over water the smaller girls as well so im not paying too much attention to those ladies now, whatever they produce they produce my investment is my big girl. I Will say that john innes stuff is SUPER heavy and im.really struggling with drainage so back to bio bizz light mix after this that added perlite makes a big difference!
I have also made a mini aeroponic cloner today which fits inside my propagator, who new an old plastic cracker tub, some soil plugs and a few airstones could make something so useful 🤣 This dark phoenix is such a tough plant I don't want to lose her genetics so im goin to try my best to root these cuttings before flipping her to flower next week. All being well by the time these plants are finished I will have at least 4 nice big healthy girls ready to send straight into flower as soon as this stuff is down and dried 🤞

August 1: These clones are now next to the motherplant and august 3 will be the start of flowering when the light goes off.
The nutrients are now just calmag, micro and bloom at 500ppm untill they hit week 3 flower
August 10th: the clones are now at day 7 flower and they just got trimmed (lower branches and biggest leaf on top of the plants) i dont go too agressive on defoliation with this strain, on the last short video of this week u can see what i cut off at this stage, this was done at day 7 flower

I didn’t take any photos of this strain once it went Hermie, but here’s a video of all the jars, I also have a storage tote of untrimmed buds for making rso :)

Literally she’s beautiful. I can’t even tell you how happy I am with how she turned out. The Rosin is crystal clear amber goodness. She tastes so creamy and sweet. The profile is just pure bliss. One of my all time favorite plants. Yields great. Dense as ever nugs. Tastes fabulous. Sweet seeds keep it up 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Day 90
The Sativa plant is beautifully swollen at the top. I've watered it minimally for the last three days.
Today I'll mix up the solution and add a 1 g/l Bio Enchanter. It's alkaline (pH 8), so I'll first dilute 15 liters of the solution with 2 ml/l CalMag in the aquapot to 250 PPM. Then I'll lower the pH to 5.0, as recommended by the fertilizer manufacturer. After that, I'll dissolve a capful—one and a half liters of black powder. These 15 liters should be used within 24 hours.
My slightly drying bushes will appreciate a third of the pot's volume being watered.
The stems are showing red spots—it looks like I need to add 1-2 g/l Bio Bloom to the coco and mix 2-5 liters of the coco into the top layer. After bending and pruning, the plants feel stronger and healthier.
To correct the nitrogen deficiency, I'll also add a liter of Simplex Start Up 4 ml/l.
Day 95
They're doing well after moving to their new space. I didn't change the photoperiod to avoid stress. Yesterday, I didn't water them at all because they were experiencing water deficiencies. Today, I watered each plant 2 liters of solution, 10% of the solution before draining. I also added a weak concentration of Simplex Coco mineral fertilizer, 1 ml/l.

Agora sim o período de luz está em 12/12. Liguei o adicional de luz que alcança mais no espectro, o tom de vermelho, comecei entrar com ácido húmico, e uma proporção de NPK para suprir as necessidades da floração (BioBloom e TopMax). Com a mudança da luz, previsivelmente a planta começou a crescer bastante em altura, porém ainda não apresentou sinais de pré flora, o que é normal. Com certeza na próxima atualização veremos alguns pistilos.

Day 42:Well its halfway though the flowering cycle at least now and I thought with the genetic mix of her parents that she would be a full 11 week sativa cycle. Seems I may be wrong!!!!. She is beginning to colour up nicely now as though she is headin for the finish line. By far the the most ripe of the 9 strains which is surprising as she was younger and had 2 weeks catching up to do before the flip. She is even looking more advanced than the fast flowering Tester run in here now. The Gz mother was completely done by week 9 so maybe they will follow her rather than the longer Gelato41 time. She smells very fruit sweet with a slight hint of a diesel/gas. She is really oily to touch now and even low down where the larf would normally be a little pointless , she has put out medium sized buds too. . I am very happy with her whole cycle so far and she has not been slouch at all. Seeing her overtake the race and showing off is a win for me and the Birth of GanjaGrandaddyGenetics ,GGG seeds. lol Have 2 strains of my own at harvest nearly now and the Hulklato I featured in the last update has given out a very good 6 oz with around 1oz of that being larf and small buds. Not too bad for a first seed popped. let's see if this little lady can come close to her cousin. The NFT system has made the grow the easiest "hands off " growing i have done. Only needing to top up the res and leave it till it needed it again has been a lazy affair but to see an old school system like this work so well compared to the many others I have since used , has been a surprise. I dont know why NFT dropped off the radar but for anyone who is new to growing , it is a perfect , easy to set up and use medium.

My three Feminized Bubblegum are beautiful. The buds are awesome and smells very strong.
I feed them with the Hybrid Powder and some Booster from Green House Feeding Nutrients,
I also give them some CalGreen from Metrop, the best Cal-Mag of the market.
They are under a MarsHydro TS 3000 at 80% of power and at 30cm of the canopy.
