This week they did more stretching as you can see the one on the left is into and above the light! I can't believe this but I'll role with it! I slowly defoliate just a little here and there between watering and filling the humidifiers. They really like to eat! Also, something to note that is they love the humidity as well as the warmth. I had to clean the outside of their grow bags this week. To my surprise the roots are starting to come out the bag! I can't believe it but this is awesome! Now they'll die due to contact with the air, and in return get bigger to take in even more nutrients! As predicted they fell off because their little pieces are on the floor. Well I fed and watered them daily. Like normal whenever I fed them either nutrients or soil amendments I made sure to water the plants with plain pH balanced H2O the next day in order to flush them. Then I would do any soil amendments if needed. After that plain pH balanced H20 and then you could do another fertilizer nutrient for them. After that pH balanced H20 and then you return to the soil amendments if needed.

Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. This new week since the soil is a soil improver specifically formulated for lawns, its task is to keep the pH around 8 and stabilize, there is peat that also acts as a buffer, I did a flush giving 2 liters of water since the vase is 3.2L at pH 5 to balance it with the runoff pH which is pH 8, since the pH is 8 the plant is unable to take nutrients as it should and therefore problems with curled leaves begin, which discolor, lose vigor (I wanted to do this experiment also for those who are new to it)

BB2 and GG2 showing widely scattered amber trichomes on the main cola mostly. Neither tent has a strong smell yet. Not the most fragrant strains, from what I'm reading. Learning to use my USB microscope for trichome pictures. Difficult to hold steady for good pics in the tent. Don't want to pull pots out anymore. Tips for better trichomes pics would be greatly appreciated!

So 7 weeks in and there are still no pistils, this was a free seed from @Dutch Passion and i thought it was an auto as the rest of the seeds i purchased were but im guessing its a photo period so i have now switched to 12/12.

Ok just finnished a blunt of this a out an hour ago, and I do not smoke blunts lol But it seems only right too do a real smoked reveiw , So the fbt7 has been dry now for about 2 weeks and in a jar and today was the day too take the first bud too try so I rolled a fat one " fat one in photos lol , So for me the flavour just isn't there yet and am hoping that will come after a cure , So I smoked this all too my self and qiukly , Within a few minutes I went white as a ghost as was twitching the the corner hehehe, This is very strong bud and I would go as far as saying it's probably the strongest bud I've had in years , I am what I would describe as a joker smoker , as I turn my bud into oils and do not smoke it , But any serious cannabis smoker will absolutely love this strain , Well done fast buds and thank you :)

Very happy with how this lady has performed, amazing quality buds, very sticky and dense flower with a concrete smell that I love so much, which is that kind of fruity sweet flavor that this lady is able to produce, it's been a beautiful journey, I'm gonna enjoy a lot this flowers. Very recomended guys!

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. What up fam, weekly update on these absolute gorgeous girls. Nothing happing much this week besides the flower sites maturing more day by day. Over all its been like cruise control, still feeling 16oz daily. Happy Growing.

I highly encourage newbies to run with this strain and don’t look back. Super tolerant that produces both yield and quality. Luckily I didn’t run into any deficiencies, disease, or pests. Temps and humidity where on point the entire run. The only neg would be these girls got wayyyy to tall. I had to remove light hangers to gain 5 inches. Even at that I had buds with 5 inches of a 1000w HPS HID. Hood is air cooled so heat wasn’t an issue but one plant def had light stress. Yield and quality is fantastic. I was hoping for a pound for no real reason other than is sounds cool to yield a full 16 ounces. Even more so than yield I was looking for top notch quality and I must say these girls made it. I’m not sure if they reach the 25% THC the strain is known for but either way the can’t be far behind. Smoke tests reveal a smooth smoke with a slight pungent gassy taste. High hit mid way thru lean cone With an energetic yet relaxing high. Lasted over two hours and I’m no light weight. Saved tones of larf nugs, sugar leaves and fans leaves for batches of butter and maybe some hash. Wife wants some fans leaves for a skin lotion. Overall a great run and next run of the 4 best plants is ready to go. Update 5 days after harvest. Buds are starting dry out but still have plenty of moisture. Prob another 5 days till dry. Smell is increasing by the day becoming really pungent. Canna butter came out awesome. Planning on making some bubble hash with sugar leaves and some larf. Update 8 days after harvest. Buds are dry enough for jars. Hanging buds weighed over 13 oz. Still have a bunch drying in racks After jarring for 8 hours, received a pungent odor. I think these girls are gonna stinkkkk. Hoping the taste is there. Potency is 👌. What a great first experience. Happy with this smooth run with no real issues. Can’t be happier with The product at the end. I made some canna butter and tincture. Wife made some skin lotion. I have bubble bags on the way and 2 ounces of leaf matter and an ounce of larf that’ll be going thru a bunch of washes. This growing this is for me. Tons of work and time but in the end it’s worth it.

Hi Growmies, So far she is doing what she is supposed to. She popped her head out within two days and since then she has been growing nicely. I have switched on a little fan to make sure she gets sturdy enough. I have also transplanted her into her final net pot and nested her in a bed of Speedgrow green mini cubes and soaked her for 15 min in a 500 ppm ph balanced RO water. I would love to upload some videos, however this seems to be getting increasingly challenging on this website. Acapulco Gold has been forming some promising looking buds 👌 I have had to increase waterings this week as the plant is becoming increasingly thirsty. The branches are very heavy for the plant now, and they're beginning to buckle under the weight, so I might have to stake the plant. Because it's got so big now. I turn the plant round each day to evenly distribute light. It's become difficult due to the bendyness of the plant now, so I have to be very careful now whenever I move it. The plant has done really well this week, actually, and hopefully, we can be done in the next few weeks, which would be great. This has been the fastest and biggest plant I have grown yet. I'm very impressed. I have increased the waterings and am trying to give correct nutrients. However, I am also using Ecothrive dry amendments as always, and because of this, I don't know how many nutrients to add. The plant is so big now, I don't think I am feeding enough. If you have any ideas or suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Leave it in the comments 😁 I am having trouble assessing the nutrient requirements as the plant has always been a light green, but it is really beginning to go yellow. Here is what I did this week. 12.9.25 I top dressed the plant with Ecothrive dry amendments.
