Time is Coming to an end slow and steady.

Finishing up week 4 and damn what a week. Noticed thousands of soil mites swarm up to the top of the soil after watering and scared the shit out of me. Small little fuckers, I thought they were little bits of soil floating around at first until I took a closer look. I’m assuming they’re the beneficial kind as there is nothing wrong with the plants...leaves aren’t sick looking or droopy. Fun fact - according to Google there are >40000 types of mites. Whatever, I don’t want any more so I hit them with CannControl and Lost Coast soil drenches in between feeds and fucken hell most of them are gone now. Maybe it’s the population correcting itself or maybe I’m just lucky, either way I’m happy they’re almost all gone. I was considering using a blowtorch and burning the little fuckers but not anymore. IPM for the win! Now back to business as usual...next run I’ll be adding some diatomaceous earth into the soil mix. Thanks for stopping by 🌱I

week 5 when the thrips first showed themselves. I noticed them cuz some silver stains started appearing on some leaves. you can see them better under LED light. So, I sprayed Neem Oil all over the plant. I could notice that if you don't do it well, spraying and rubbing the leaves with a piece of cloth, the oil will also create some stains. 2nd topping. killed some thrips this week, they're cute and didn't seem to harm the plant seriously. Neem oil worked fine to control them. No other pests that I could notice + Defoliation + LST Flowermind (4ml + 0.5g)

First time growing inside. I always just throw my seeds in the spil when I grow outside told myself to do the same here. Put the seeds maybe 1 to 1.5 inches into the soil and put 1.5 ozs of water on and around the seed. Also had domes on my 1/2 gallon pots to keep humidity high. Had my lamp at around 12 inches from the pots. Once they sprouted they stretched a bit so I out my lamp down to 8 inch and they stopped growing. I'll probabky stsrt at 6 to 8 inches next time and see what happens.

Day 2; 48 hrs the Blackberry Moonrocks seed's root was long enough to go into soil today. I use Happy Frog soil for seedlings. The soil cup will stay on the heat mat insuring the temp is kept at 75°F. Day1; 24 hrs and the Blackberry Moonrocks has a visible tap root. I'll wait a little longer before putting it in soil. I like to see the root about a quarter inch before planting. Day 0; germination, paper towel method.

Just starting week 5 will keep updating as I go been having a couple issues lately with some of the top fan leaves, they've been starting to get a couple brown spots on 3-4 of the fan leaves not sure what the problem is yet if anyone has any suggestions let me know. Update: Just ordered in a new ph meter from Apera I'm pretty sure my cheap $15 dollar ph meter was all sorts of messed up. UPDATE: ec going in .7 runoff ec .86, ph going in 5.7 runoff ph 6.6 I'll see if the ph goes down now that I have the new ph meter my old one was definitely off. UPDATE: Got the EC down to .4 gonna start slowly introducing nutrients back in, also got the medium pH down to 6.1 from 6.6. Finishing up week 5 think I've gotten things under control now just need to get my EC back up now showing a couple signs up deficiencies on some leaves but nothing too bad, I'm thinking Week 6 will start flower. Did a Flush this Week now looking back on it I shouldn't have done that that caused my plant to go into a deficiency, what I should've done was not flush with half strength nutes I should've used normal strength nutes but just lower the ph more that was the real problem.

Peace growers. I report that the Jack Herer plants have completed their first week of flowering. They have managed the change to the 12-12 regime just fine, they are healthy and they lack nothing. It looks like the two plants will fill the entire space of the grow box beautifully. I look forward to what the next days will bring.. Three days before the switch, I added 4g/l Bio Bloom flower fertilizer from Green House Feeding to the substrate. We will see in the next period how far the plants will grow.. I really like it, so let's go week by week for the final result.. - Peace growers. Hlásím, že rostliny Jacka Herera mají za sebou první týden květu. Změnu režimu 12-12 zvládly v pořádku, jsou zdravé a nic jim nechybí. Vypadá to, že dvě rostliny krásně zaplní celý prostor grow boxu. Těším se, co přinesou další dny.. Tři dny před přepnutím přidáno do substrátu květové hnojivo 4g/l Bio Bloom od Green House Feeding. Uvidíme v dalším období, kam až se rostliny vytáhnou.. Moc se mi to líbí, tak pojďme týden po týdnu za finálním výsledkem..

Aug 16 : Didn't get to it.. Sorry Aug 17th : Holy SHIT balls batman... These things are flipping huge!.. Even "Tiny" Cookie isn't doing half bad! But my word.. After experimenting with various brands of nutrient formulations and concentrations.. the plant is showing improved health. The root zone has become too dense for consistent flood levels even with the same number of seconds for the pump ON cycle. The solution is now fed through the pipe which is reduced to the smaller feeder line to fill the nutrient solution at at the top of the container which is gravity fed back into the reservoir. The original air stone is used to prevent the roots escaping the container and entering into the nutrient tank solution. The only way to remove the roots is to let them dry out and shrink enough for easy withdrawal from the container. The video shows very slow drainage due to the barbed pipe attachement beging submerged below the top of the nutrient level. It was removed to facilitate quicker drainage. I just noticed that I swore in the video as I was still playing with the timer ON setting and had to quickly unplug the electricity manually in order avoid an overflow... 😂

This week they have grown super, but unfortunately they are getting lighter. 3 days ago I added another 1 g per liter of GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Grow substrate, as they still remain a bit in the veggie. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to release the nutrients. Whatever the reason, that still not all trips are elemened 🤬. I've only seen some before, and treated directly with neem oil so that it finally has a rest ☺️. Die Pflanzen kommen in die 8. Blütenwoche und haben sich gut entwickelt, die Blüten haben letzte Woche noch etwas zugelegt und sind praller geworden. Auch sehen die Blüten jetzt schön frostig aus und glänzen schön im Licht. Ich werde noch abwarten, wie sich die Trichome entwickelt, der Gorilla könnte Ende kommender Woche fertig sein. Chocolate Rainbow XXL brauch auf jeden Fall noch etwas länger hat diese Woche aber auch schon mehr Trichome gebildet. Amnesia Haze liegt irgendwo dazwischen und kann evtl. schon mit Royal Gorilla geerntet werden.

She seems with Potassium deficiency but the addition of more bio nutrients and the additional seems to have kicked in. Also the cheese terpines have kicked in and I personally prefer WC only, but maybe that changes my mind later on.

Amazing genetics growing beautiful. But i would like to ask you guys what your thoughts are how long it takes to harvest. Trichomes are milky but the hairs are not so brown :-/

This week I was mostly smoking Panama Red. Hit a wee bump as it seems I never learn my lesson by bringing outside plants inside, some sap-sucking greenfly aphids decided my grow tent was a perfect new home. The thing about trying to recreate a "perfect" environment for growth, it can also be perfect for a host of unwanted problems. All the holes I've cut into the tent don't help I'd guess either. The 5 species of Clover is far more dense a cover crop than I'd imagined it would be. The chaplain overdone his blessings it seems. The blue borage companion plant was the first to be suckled on by unwanted visitors, I'd say 90+% of the aphids I found were eating on the underside of the borage leafs. I gave her a good bath and thorough scrub with some soap, just need to give her time to bounce back. If I can't beat them, I'll join them. Only I'll be the one who decides what predators lurk under the canopy! This will need time and research. Back to it I guess. 02/23 - Week 3 Veg - Did some light defoliation on her inverted leaves mainly in the middle of the plant - She has definitely blown out some, will have to apply some LST on upper canopy sometime this week - Nute/Clean water feeds have become more frequent alternating once every 2 days.
