Welcome to week 1 of my CBD Medi Kush Diary! I have 2 - CBD Medi Kush by Spliff Seeds going in the same tent with 14 other plants (full details on all of the other plants can be found on my "Dude's New Diary to Rule Them All" diary, check it out). But with the CBD Medi Kush I'm also growing 3 - DinaMed CBD+ by DinaFem, 1 - Critical+ by DinaFem, 3 - Cream & Cheese CBD by Seedsman and 7 - Cherry Blossom CBD Hemp by Elevator Supply Co. The 2 CBD Medi Kush plants and 2 of the DinaMed CBD+'s were all started from seed at the same time (all other plants are clones). Once all surviving clones/seedlings were healthy enough I transplanted from dixie cups to small pots (I guess around 1 litre). They were transplanted into soil I had been composting and turning for 3-4 weeks. They really responded well to the transplanting and the new soil. Noticeable growth in 48 hours. The pictures in week 1 were taken right after transplanting (check week 2 and you will see a very noticeable change all around). My plan this grow is to go organic (or as organic as possible). While the soil was composting I added old fan leaves to the mix as well as Recharge, Mr B's Green Trees 'Growth', and Jobe's Organic granular fertilizer. I know, I know, everyone says don't use time release nutes with cannabis. BUT, The Rev said it was fine in his "True Living Organics" book. He actually recommends putting spikes in the flowering pots prior to transplant (I'm planning on trying that too). Recharge and Mr B's Green Trees don't claim to be organic specifically for whatever reason, but the ingredients include pretty much everything The Rev recommends adding to composting soil. Plus I love Recharge, that stuff is great! Organic or not I'll be using Recharge along the way. Here's the setup... First of all, I'll let you know my grow area is in my attic. The previous owners finished the attic with walls lights and even carpeting, but for some reason kept the folding attic stairs. Its pretty a pretty good space, we divide the attic in half. One side for my plants, they other for attic type storage. I have 2 2x4 tents and a larger flowering area (10x12'ish). One of the tents I use for drying only, the other is where I have these babies growing. The babies are currently under a single Viparspectra V300 300W LED. I'm having really good results with Viparspectra LED's. Bang for the buck, Viparspectra is hard to beat. I have a 2nd 300W Viparspectra which is a R300 (more reds) which is better for flowering. I may stick the R300 in the tent as well at some point, but for now the single V300 is doing a great job. In the flowering area I'm running 1000W HPS. The HPS has been kicking ass with the plants in flower now and I'm expecting more of the same with these girls when they are ready for the big time. Side note: I'm running a separate diary for all of these girls. In this diary I'm just going to focus on the CBD Medi Kush specifically. But I did start the CBD Medi Kush and DinaMed CBD+ seeds at exactly the same time. So, in the other diary I will do some comparisons and contrasts between the 2 strains as they grow. So far the DinaMed is taller, but the CBD Medi Kush has beautifully stacked node structure. This looks like its going to be a win-win. Please follow and comment away!!! Start of week 5. Expecting to flower at the end of this week. Hopefully. Added advanced nutes Cal mag and PH perfect micro grow bloom. 2ml/L on day 29 08/29/20. And again on 09/02/20 Auto speed bud is pretty much an experimental strain since its so fast. 65 days from sprout to harvest. 3 are looking really good. The other 3 not so much. We'll see what happens

📆 Week 9, 1-7 July 2024 1-7 July - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 She is a well developed plant, and the bud structure seems to be quite dense early on. This is an impressive plant that I only wish I had more room to grow her in. 🍶 nutrient solution not changed 🍽️ feeding schedule not updated 💧 Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 🔆 Light power at 80%, DLI 40 canopy coverage at 12hrs 😤 Using PYPABL, Air Pump, 400GPH That is it for this week. We go into the second week of Flowering... The plants accepted the fertilizer change very well. Everyone looks very healthy. The strong green just looks beautiful in my eyes --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controller AC Infinity Pro - connector for the external light control, RJ-12 - 2 plugs with which I can control dehumidifier and humidifier. - 2 fans run 24/7, 1 Oscillating from spider farmer Light - 12/12 h PPFD - 900-1000 nmol VPD - 1,3 - 1,6

Dec 28 - Both plants are close to harvest. Had 5.5. hours of darkness after 24 hr period to prevent budrot developing. Also moved plants inside tent moreso, and closer to fans. Dec 28 - Watered healthy plant today at 2PM - I'll chop unhealthy plant tomorrow, so didn't water, instead inspected trichomes. Dec 28 - Unhealthy Plant is showing amber trichomes, but also clear - Unsure if I should chop tomorrow or not. Dec 29 - DAY 73 - CHOPPED - Trimmed larger fan leaves (accidentally trimmed a sugar leaf or two) and harvested to dry whole, upside down. I'm hoping for a half ounce per plant. Dec 19 - 11.50PM Trichome Calyx' were observed, there are new calyx' appearing. Calyx' are swelling. Dec 30 - Plant developing more senescence and calyx are swelling. Dec 30 - Trichomes are still clear, but I'm seeing some PM develop so I think I'll chop tomorrow morning. Dec 31 - Nice Senescence occurring, Happy to have left it this last day. Accidentally left temps up to 78F for a half hour. Dec 31 - Decided to push another week as per feedback from GD member. When watering I noticed she was perky after 3 days w. no water. Interesting and likely the frequency I'll continue watering at. Dec 31 - Watered at 9PM. Jan 1 - Removed small fan leaf with signs of PM at the base. This defoliation should help with airflow. Checked newly formed calyx' and they're clear enough not to document. Jan 2 - Buds are developing nicely, calyxes are noticably swelling nicely too. I see some green pistils appearing in the lowest buds. Clear Trichomes. Jan 3 - Watered at 8AM. Woke up to 90F temp. Unfortunately they'd been cooking for about an hour. Jan 3 - DRYING UPDATE - I'm seeing fluctuations in the drying room between RH 49% and 70%. As of 3.10PM @ 61RH after adding jars of water. I want to maintain this RH. Jan 3 - Senesence looking good, calyx' are continuing to swell. Will inspect trichomes tomorrow at latest.

day 14 added 1/2tbsp magnesium sulfate in 5gal water along with regular flower water amendments. 1gal of water per day average, bridal and thunder can take more water. Ph 6.8 today day 15 I will defoliate in a few days :) day 15 video, you see some stem action day 16 video day 17 I added (4x20w daisy-chained)80w of poop purple ancient leds Keep adding soluble PK, organic booster etc. I see the stacks relax on defoliation for a few days, maybe tomorrow morning (skip day21) I feel like I will be able to chop week 6-7 as my last grow, push hard fast-continue everything is great, soon bridal and thunder will require 1gal water per day. I would like to see even more mass. I'm extremely happy, starting to see frost day18. BIG UPDATE many short vids of final defoliation(ahead of "day 21"). Wild amendments appeared! Any recommendations for a lawnmower? Bridalparty stretched over an inch overnight, led touch diode burn on 1 spot. Raised lights slightly, Added new amendments into water. Bridal wants to drink more than 1gal per day, So I will be using almost 5gal-ish water per day not denying the plant needs-watering. I am very happy! defoliation took about 4h today.

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

Dropped my light as well as adjusted my fans and intakes all in the name of lowering the humidity. Some hairs are turning red which worries me but I will try to maintain the same environment as much as possible for the rest of the grow. Also I need to figure out my plugin timer which isn’t the moSt reliable. ✌️🏽

These two little ones are really close. One took a beating on the leafs when the power was out for a couple days but over all both look great. Super stacked and frosty. They'll be getting chopped this week and really excited to get them dried and cured to sample some. Happy

I’m not 100% done collecting all the data. By the smell of it, this plant will be one of the dankest plants I’ve ever grown. More to come. Tuesday, September 5 I have the nugs in jars right now. Hopefully I didn’t let it dry too much. Right now the humidity is at around 52% but I think if I move the jar around a bit I can them to sweat a bit more.

I took everything out of the tent and disinfected it again. The pots have made the tent base into a ball 😅 The velcro tags fell off long ago. I decided to put some new ones on. I have some wider velcro that I would've preferred to use, I have misplaced those. Anyway, these will have to do. I also made some large pot markers to velcro to the pots, too. I figured it would be easier to recognise the plants in photos if I made some. I laminated them, then attached the velcro to the pots and pot markers. [I get bored] 😅 make everything as fun as possible 💚 I ended up finding some sticky back velcro rolls. Of course, there's no way that it would stick to a slippery surface that gets wet from humidity. So, I used my glue gun and added strips to each side of the tent liner and tent walls to hold ot in place. The 8 gallon pots are very heavy after being watered, and the liner has suffered. Hopefully, this will work to keep it in place, at least for a while! 😅 7.5.25: I also had to clean my pots, as you can see in the photos (if you want, lol). They had got very mouldy/mildewy/fungussy. 🤢 also the under side of the tent liner. So it was very lucky that I decided to clean it at this point. Or else I could have serious issues. I'll look into the ventilation as I'm not exhausting the tent because I leave the door open with very strong airflow. I did spray the plants with Trace, and I used a lot of it. So, that probably ran down the walls into the base of the tent before it dried 🤔 that could have easily caused it. I'll have to make sure I dry off the walls after I use it next time. I certainly don't want to keep cleaning everything. The plants are delicate, and unfortunately, however I try, it appears I am not. I'm always snapping branches off by just watering, let alone removing them from the tent to clean! 😅 you can imagine. Accidental defoliation? 😉 I also cleaned the light, but I have noticed on one light that there are brown spots, which won't come off without damaging the LED's. I really don't want to have to buy a new light. The par isn't great for full flowering. I just can't justify buying a new one right now, as I've already bought 2 in a year. The light has been turned up to 100%, gradually, over the course of a few days. It has been fairly warm so I moved them further away too, as i don't want them to get heat stress, as I have already noticed a few leaves canoeing and having a taco on my dime! 🤨🤔😅 I'll continue to monitor and adjust again when possible/necessary. 9.5.25: Hulkberry has certainly started her stretch! I'm really low on space to train her out, and the light has been turned up to full power. She has begun to drink more, and I gave some more dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH:6.4 I am very pleased with the recent growth spurt, so let's hope I can accommodate her! 😅 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Hulkberry was very dry, surprisingly. Although I guess I've been giving her less. She was fed with a high dose of Ecothrive Trace: 7ml/7l. She was fed with 6 litres over the course of the day. PH:6.4 PPM: 515 I had added this as a foliar spray last week, and it has apparently damaged some leaves. Left some dry orange patches in the leaves. So, having that happen makes me want to just water with it. Thanks for checking out my diary and hanging out 💚 ✌️ 🍃 😊 🌱
