Starting week 4 flower now. Theses ladies are doing great. No signs of any deficiency thus far. Decided to hold off on potash at this point. Noticed ladies fighting for light hard and middle lady trying to take it all. I removed the exhaust fan and opened the tent on the sides. Then I added another king led 4000w light. Both 24 in with bloom only turned on at a par of 850. That was done on Saturday, and by Sunday could already see a big difference in bud production. Added recharge with last watering. Hoping the ladies continue on happy and building!

I got 90grams from bigger grape balls of fire and 60grams from smaller. I wish i had used scrog on them, outcome was good and quality was what i wished Drying went well i didnt fuck up anything but i didnt get that much what i wished for and its because i didnt use scrog. Overall outcome was good enough to make man happy. I learned a lot, next time bigger harvest and slower drying🏻

This Strain stood strong even though I threw a lot of stress at her with moving into a new box and changing lights. 2/3 hermed a bit but it looks like there are only a few seeds produced. Very happy about the harvest when looking back at her come up.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. 10th week, the smaller Strawberry G was already harvested. 5 grams dry weight. Twig snap two days ago I was out smoked it. Head buzz, Strawberry taste was light and delicious. High lasted about 4 hours. I have a habit of harvesting with hardly any amber so the potency is at its peak.

Kicking off week 5. Did some extra work on the LST. Making sure the light penetrates all bud sites. I now understand that my initial goals are too far from what I actually will harvest..mainly due the PH issue we faced on week 4. Let's see how it goes.

Well, I'm disappointed in the progression of this one. Tho I believe the reason for the poor performance is, I installed a ac duct at the front right corner of the 4x4 tent that was hooked up to a control duct that let the ac in when the tent got hot but that ment the cold cold air was coming in right at or near the side of the bucket. The plant was doing good before I put that in. And I added more insulation on the outside of bucket I moved the duct to direct the air away from the bucket but I left it that way for a little while. These hot summer days. So ac has been blowing for sure and the tent tends to heat up without It. But I finally moved it to come in a top duct opening and have the duct come down in the middle of the tent and I have seen a slight improvement in her progression. 7/18 so even though shes been flowering for only 5 weeks(starting6) shes looking closer to being done than I had expected. Shes been losing alot of yellow leaves and most of the pistils are orange now. I checked the trichomes as best as I could today and on the main/top cola, I saw some amber but very little. But the rest of the buds were mostly clear I believe. I still want her to keeo going another few weeks but we'll see as time and trichomes progress. I added some extra flowering nutes and a product thats got good stuff like kelp and molasses and crab meal and stuff besides NPK values to help the plants put on some extra weight hopefully. 7/19 just took pictures/videos and checked trichomes 7/22 checked trichomes. The very top nugs have some amber on them and the rest are mostly cloudy. Wish I wouldve been checking the trichomes sooner so I couldve started flushing sooner. I wish i wouldve stopped using open sesame sooner as well. Next time im gonna do some things different with these plants. Once the soils dry probably gonna chop

It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My gas tax plant is the star of the tent – it's looking healthier than ever! The leaves are a perfect shade of green, and those buds are going to be absolutely massive. You're gonna be one proud plant owner when it's ready.

Updating for the week of 9/12 Euphoria is doing great. She responded well to the top dressing last week, but I figured she could use some more sugar so I gave her molasses and liquid nutes this week. There were a lot of worms that got exposed during watering so that's a really good sign that they're in there, working what wasn't completely broken down in the compost, and leaving worm castings behind👍 Otherwise I think it's all covered in the video! Obviously I didn't upload after taking photos and video, I thought I could push through my migraine a little more but then the kaleidoscope aura kicked in and I had to hide from the sun... and the rest of the world. #13.9.2021 - Feed is only water and slowly reducing pH down to 5.8 with GHE’s pH down. Trying to get most shades out from the foliage #17.9.2021 - Pheno#1 went for the 48h sleep before the harvest #18.9.2021 - Stem splitted Pheno#3 as well. We’ll see how it affects for last 5 days. Pheno#1 will be harvested tonight after 48hrs darkness.
