Hi Growmies~! What This Post is About Today, I'll be recording how to cultivate soil microbes at home. These microbes offer numerous benefits, and they are simple to make. How I Came Up with This Technique Since 2014, I’ve tried synthetic growing methods like DWC. While they gave quick results, I often ran into issues with consistency. Nutrients would expire during breaks, meaning I had to keep buying new bottles. I strongly felt I needed a change. A couple of years ago, after taking a break, I started to research and switched to organic growing. At first, it felt overwhelming with all the steps and prep work, but I saw real potential. After experimenting with different methods, I came across Korean Natural Farming (KNF) and JADAM, introduced by Mr. Cho. His simple, ultra low-cost techniques inspired me. They focus on letting nature do the work. While growing, I noticed that synthetic nutrient bottles were expensive, especially when trying to complete a full nutrient set. Organic growing may require more attention and can be costly when investing in organic materials. Preparing the soil in advance and top dressing with dry nutrients every other week - just these two methods were consuming space, time, and money. Indoor farming is unnatural, while organic farming is a natural approach. I had to bring these ideas together, but organic farming often seems geared toward large plots like farms. Incorporating organic techniques into my indoor garden requires a lot of effort and careful calculations. So this is one of my techniques for keeping my plants happy: supporting their daily needs helps them snap out of deficiencies quickly, allowing them to grow consistently. It took me a while to adapt this technique for indoor use. I hope this helps, guys! Supplies Needed - Potatoes: Provide nutrients and food for the microbes. - Sea Salt: Stimulates microbial activity and controls harmful organisms. - Dechlorinated Water: Allows the microbes to grow and multiply. - Compost, leaf mold, or worm castings: Contains natural microorganisms that are key for this process. How to Make (1 gallon) 1 cooked potato (about 2 golf ball-sized) 1 pinch of sea salt 2 tablespoons compost or worm castings 1 gallon dechlorinated water 1. Mix Ingredients: In a clean container, fill it with the dechlorinated water, dissolve the sea salt, and add the compost along with the mashed potato. 2. Ferment: Optionally cover the container and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours. 3. Strain (Optional): After fermentation, you can strain the solution if you prefer a clearer liquid. Note: Watch the timelapse video to see how the microbes activate! **WARNING** Wear gloves if possible and/or avoid contact with open wounds How to Use IMPORTANT: Always dilute the solution before applying it to plants. - Use when bubbles form a "pizza shape" on the surface. - Dilute 5-10 ml per liter of water for bi-weekly feeding. (Test a small batch first to find the best rate for your setup.) - Once the bubbles disappear, the microbes are likely inactive. You can either mix the rest with water as fertilizer or discard it. Pros Promotes Plant Growth - Usually fixes deficiencies in as little as 6 to 72 hours. - Improves nutrient absorption, and helps plants thrive. Boosts Plant Immunity - Works as IPM: Can be used as foliar sprays (no staining on leaves). - Lowers the risk of powdery mildew and other diseases. - Helps the soil ecosystem with beneficial organisms like predatory mites and springtails. - Naturally reduces pest pressure (Less risk of fungus gnats and other pests). Improves Soil Health & Supports Composting - Quickly breaks down organic matter and nutrients. - Makes growing organically in small containers, like 1-gallon pots, easy. - Over time, soil becomes softer and richer, even in small pots. Cost-Effective, Sustainable & Eco-Friendly - No need for complex equipment like pH pens, air pumps, or other tools. - Reduces the need for CalMag, N-P-K, or micronutrient supplements (just add a little bit of sea salt to every watering). - No sugar sources needed in the soil. - Works for all types of plants—houseplants, exotics, ornamentals, and crops. Cons - Limited shelf life; the solution will develop an unpleasant odor after a certain period. 1 Corinthians 10:26

2/12/25 top dressed with 2 tsp grow 1 tsp microbe and 2 tsp bloom. this genetic is always sooo freaking frosty. shes already starting to frost up on the fan leaves. finally looking like shes in flower. it took her awhile to get started i feel like compared to past grows/ other Cultivars. 2/18/25 she has a very nice and even structure to her. a bunch of tops that are 3-5 node top colas with a nice disconnected set of buds after an inch two space between the nodes. frosty gassy and fairly large considering pot size.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Day 77: As expected , the ladies have continued to pack bud girth on this week and i suspect will go at least another week at the least. They are pushing out so many fresh pistils still even though the LOS girl looks very faded now. she is covered in fresh pistils too so no signs of a ripen yet or withdrawal of the unused ones so let's see if her leaves allow another week !!. I wonder if my LOS has died and needs a total recharge for the next run ( already germed and coming very soon !!!) The #2 is continuing to fatten all her mains out which give her a shaggy appearance all over. She is a good size and showing some fading signs too now. I never flush , ever , so thisnis a natural dmfast which I am glad to say is a welcome sight now. #3 Is the tallest girl with the nearest looking buds all down her stems. I live the fresh fruit smells she kicks out too. 2 more weeks would make these stellar girls.

Today marks the start of Week 6, Day 2 for the grow, and I’ve got a few updates. The PPMS aren’t quite where I want them after the last couple of feeds, so I’ll be continuing with higher feeds to bring those levels back up. It’s a bit of a balancing act, but I’m staying on top of it. I also made the decision to flip the light schedule from 16/8 to 12/12 today to initiate the flowering phase. I’m excited to see the plants start stretching and showing their full potential. It’s a big step, and I’m feeling good about the direction things are heading. Happy growing! 🌱💡🌿

Day 21 flower: they were thirsty. Work had me away a few days. So defoliation and 1750ml of H2O. Ppfd set to 725. Day 22 Flower. These flowers took almost 1 gallon of H2O. That’s with no run off. Ppfd is set to 750. 6.49ph water. The soil was dry after 2 days. So I am going to have to watch the water. 1 more week and then we apply the bloom. Day 23flower also added my heater and they are bouncing back. I amended the soil. My ph meter died so I over night ordered a new one.. Day 25 flower. Ok def moisture and temp. Side note I was not home for due to some medical stuff. So today ph set 6.5, more water.3500ml with no run off. And the plants looks way better. Also temps were drifting close to under 60. So temps at 77 and humidity 55. I also think when I started I never really saturated the pots the most water I ever gave was 1/2 gallon twice. So I think from the start I was battling a 1/2 dry pot.

Gelato - Semana 7 1 Optimización de la Maduración y Corrección del Balance ( N-K) Durante el inicio de esta fase, se identificó un ligero espigamiento o foxtailing (cola de zorro) en las inflorescencias apicales. Etiología: Este fenómeno se atribuyó a una persistencia elevada de Nitrógeno (155 ppm) durante la semana 6. El exceso de en etapas avanzadas de floración puede reactivar procesos vegetativos en el ápice de la flor, promoviendo la formación de nuevas hojas de azúcar y estructuras espigadas que comprometen la densidad. Acción Correctiva:Se recalibró la solución nutritiva reduciendo el aporte de Nitrógeno a 90 ppm. Resultado: Esta restricción nitrogenada detuvo el crecimiento apical desordenado y forzó a la planta a entrar en una senescencia controlada. Al limitar el , se redirigen los carbohidratos de la síntesis de nuevas proteínas estructurales hacia la ruta de los metabolitos secundarios, mejorando significativamente la compactación de los cálices y la deposición de resina. 2. Ajuste del Balance Cationico y Presión Osmótica Se realizó una intervención crítica en la concentración de Potasio (K) para proteger la integridad del transporte de nutrientes en la zona radicular: Reducción de : El aporte se ajustó de 220 ppm a 195 ppm. Fundamento Técnico: Niveles de Potasio superiores a 200 ppm en esta fase aumentan drásticamente la presión osmótica en la rizósfera. Esto genera un antagonismo competitivo, donde el exceso de cationes de bloquea los sitios de absorción de Calcio y Magnesio . Consecuencia: Al bajar a 195 ppm, se redujo la interferencia iónica, permitiendo que el Calcio mantenga la estabilidad de las paredes celulares en los cálices maduros y el Magnesio continúe soportando la transferencia de energía (ATP) sin provocar bloqueos radiculares por saturación de sales. 3. Suplementación Final de Vitaminas del Grupo B En concordancia con el protocolo de maduración, se aplicó la penúltima dosis de Tiamina (B1), Piridoxina (B6) y Cobalamina (B12) (100mg / 5mg / 50mcg respectivamente) diluida por cada 10 litros de agua. Mecanismo: Estos activos actúan como agentes de mitigación de estrés abiótico. Dado que la planta está operando bajo una alta demanda metabólica y una solución nutritiva de alta precisión, el complejo B facilita el metabolismo de los carbohidratos y refuerza el sistema inmunitario radicular ante la fluctuación de la presión osmótica. 4. Parámetros de Control Climático (VPD) Se mantiene un VPD de 1.4 kPapara asegurar que, a pesar de la reducción de Potasio, el flujo transpiratorio sea suficiente para movilizar el Calcio hacia las zonas de mayor densidad floral, previniendo necrosis interna en los cogollos más compactos.

1st WddngCake is under a SpiderFarmer SF 1000D 100W but an older model. The 2nd WddngCake is under a MarsHydro FC-E1500 LED 150W. They also receive on the sides UV (total per day 2 and 1/2 h ) exposure and IR (total per day 2h) From a Secret Jardin Cosmorrow UV 40W and one Secret Jardin Cosmorrow IR 40 W. UV 1h in the morning starting with main light, 1h in the afternoon and 1/2 h just before the main light goes off. IR 1/2 h in the morning before any lights even start then letting it another 1/2 h with all the other lights.Total 1h IR 1/2 in the evening right before all the lights go out and let it smooth out 1/2 alone without the other lights. Total 1h 1/13/25 The girls are starting the week ok. 1/14/25 1st WddngCake, She is older, is happier after the flush, still has a little bit of alkaline soil but i don't want to stress her out to much. Gave her a little BioBizz CalMag aprox 3,5 ml ; TopMax 5ml and 5 ml BioBlom . All mixed in 3,3 l PHed Water at PH 5.0 ppm 290. Runoff PH 6,8 :( ppm 1100. Also took like a handful of inter buds leafs :D . I think she will be ok. Seeing signs of buds fattening, new pistils. Frosty :D 2nd WddngCake Is very strong starting to fatten up the buds because she is younger and just now entering that stage. Like I already said her smell still resembles a tropical sweet creamy hoppy IPA. I think she is good, no major problems. Gave her 3,3 l of PHed water. Also mixed in CalMag 2,6 ml; 4 ml TopMax and 5 ml BioBloom. PH 5,4 ppm 207. Runoff PH 6,08 and ppm 302. I think is a good sign that i flushed a lot of nutrients from the soil and she also used a lot of them. Should keep and eye on that. Took 5 inter buds leafs off. 1/15/25 They are doing ok, both are fattening their buds and coming around good. The 2nd WddngCake better then the 1st one because I didn't make so many mistakes with her 😬 The tent is smelling great the Temp is at 23 C at night 20 C and RH at 50% (+- 3%) . 1st WddngCake stand at 47 cm and the 2nd WddngCake at 74 cm at their highest. New Photos! 😍😃 1/17/25 Back with some updates. The girls are doing wonderful. Shades of pinkish darkish greenish on both. The 1st Wddng Cake Auto, is older and showing this colors also on the very small sugar leafs. Gave her 4,2 l of PHed water, going in PH 5,6 and ppm 95. The Runoff is at PH 6,4 ppm 205 and I feel like now she is a little bit happier. Soil PH at 7,3 but not measuring precisely have a cheap tho rod measure stabby thing. The 2nd Wddng Cake Auto is younger, starting to forming her full flowers, bursting with mass . She also displays the colors mentioned above on the leafs closer to the main buds and also here and there on other sugar leafs. Gave her 4,2 l PHed water , going in PH 5,4 ppm 110. Runoff at PH 6,5 ppm 195 . Her soil PH is also at PH 7,3 kinda of. :)) I can see she is happier. I think is because i didn't make mistakes at the start. I also had 2 other Autos that aren't on here. But none of them grew like this one. Until now :)). Also took from both some leafs here and there. I think like a hand full total. Half a handful a plant. :D In the new photos you can see the "between the fingers roll" 😁 like i call it. That I only do twice in the life of an Auto, not to stress her to much.😨 Temp in the tent at 24 C when day +-2 C. At night time 21 C +- 1 C . Rh 50% +- 3% all of the time. Ventilators on for wind, and the grow must go on 👽🙌 1/18/25 So just 1 day until end of the week. I just got a Microscope. Very good actually recommend Andonstar AD203 Portable, 4' Screen also metal holder. A microSD Card 32Gb is also included and the data cable. Has a battery. Handels good. for the money i am surprised 😍. 1st Wddng Cake Took some pictures of the thricomes and I see a lot of milky one, some clear ones too. No amber ones. I think the harvest window is open but , I don't have time to harvest now. I also prefer also to let it a few days. She got 4,2 l water with CalMAg 3,5 ; Activera 5 ml ; Algamic 5 ml; Bio Heaven 5 ml; BioBloom 5ml; TopMax 6ml. Going in PH 5,7 ppm 315; Soil aprox PH 7; Runoff PH 6,9😢 ppm 610. 7/27 My phone ran out of storage and wouldn't let me take a video. I tried deleting several other videos bit that didn't work either. Finally I wad able to upload a few RANDOM pictures from the "website" camera. But no video. Everything looked so beautiful tjis morning too. Not watering was the right choice. I defoliated a couple septoria leaves on the reveg 10th planet that wad about to receive its third dose of Plant Doctor. The chem dog #4 and mk ultra this will be their second treatment. Seeing the positive impact of the product and finding a few septoria leaves I decided to treat every plant in the garden with plant doctor. I'm still going to do the diy Dr. Zymes but Plant Doctor had been working good and I want to suppress as much as possible. Everything looks great. I started by giving the thirstiest plants a half gallon of water. I then did a root drench of 3tsp per gallon on every plant but the 10gal. A gallon of solution was used on each plant. I really feel like this is a good mood. Previously AFTER I applied Plant Doctor the plants would have a noticeable positive effect shortly after. I'm hoping this will be the case here. I think stretch has stopped. I have one special Kush that has buds already but EVERYTHING is in early flower. I'll fix the phone and get a video up there. EDIT: WENT BACK AROUND ONE TO DO A LITTLE DEFOLIATION. EVERYTHING LOOKS REALLY GOOD TO ME. I DID DEFOLIATE A COUPLE SEPTORIA LEAVES. BUT REMOVING A LEAF OR TWO FROM A MONSTER REVEG IS NOTHING. REALISTICALLY I SHOULD BE REMOVING MORE FOR BETTER AIR FLOW. THATS SOMETHING ILL NEED TO DO. SO HAPPY THINGS ARE DOING GOOD. EVERYTHING IS IN VARIOUS STAGES OF FLOWER. I've got a wife with medical problems and I'm trying to redue my house before the end of the summer so I'm busy to say the least. Still no pm. Not many pests either. The rose bushes behind them have been DEMOLISHED by jpn beetles. I see no negative active reactions from treating everything with plant doctor 3tsp/gallon. The first plant I treated with it was that 10th planet and its gotten three treatments and looks great. I'll get a spot here or there once in a while but for the most part it's supressed. I have some pruning to do. Everything os in early flower but that one special kush is pretty far ahead. EDIT: SINCE IT WAS MID 80S I WENT OVER AROUND 1 TO CHECK THE GIRLS. THEY LOOKED GREAT. I DEFOLIATED A COUPLE SEPTORIA LEAVES BUT ONLY A COUPLE. I STOPPED AT A LOCAL SHOP AND SHOWED MY BUDDY A VIDEO. HE SAID TO NEVER SPRAY ANYTHING WITH LEAF SEPTORIA WITH "ANYTHING" BECAUSE OF HOW IT SPREADS. I DIDNT MENTION THE CONTRADICTORY EVIDENCE THAT I'VE FOUND IN MY RESEARCH BUT HEY. HE HASNT LED ME WRONG. PLANT DOCTOR SEEMS TO BE DOING THE JOB. THAT AND DEFOLIATING ANYTHING I SEE. IVE WORKED TOO HARD TO LOSE THEM TO A DISEASE THAT MAINLY EFFECTS THE LEAVES. PLANT DOCTOR WILL KEEP IT SUPPRESSED. 7/29 Today is supposed to be really hot. In the 90's. I watered everything a gallon except the thirstier plants got 1.5 and the 10's got 1/2 gallon. I defoliated a few septoria leaves. I'm sure there will be a few more after watering. Instead of alleviating my concerns my buddy kinda got in my head with the septoria talk. Things will be fine. Everything LOOKS gorgeous. He even said, "They look really good and healthy" and "not to get complacent defoliating." The plant in the 50 seems to be worse off than the others. I'll keep an eye on it but if I got spots near the sugar leaves I might just cut that little runt. This was all preventable too. Person mowing the lawn BLEW DISEASED GRASS, SHRUBS AND BIRD SEED IN MY CAGE RIGHT AFTER TRANSPLANT. I legit had to dig out at least a dozen sunflowers or other seeds that sprouted. Realistically things will be fine. The plant I've been treating for three weeks with plant doctor looks great. So do the others. Everything looks good. I just get occasional leaves I previously would've overlooked or attributed to something else. As long as I can keep it suppressed enough through flower I'm good. Anything that isn't good enough will go towards extracts. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND ONE. A COUPLE PLANTS IN TJE BACK THAT I WATERED FASTER WERE LIGHT SO I SPLIT A GALLON WITH THEM. THE 10TH PLANET THAT HAS GOTTEN THE FULL PLANT DOCTOR TREATMENT IS DOING AWESOME. I DID HAVE TO DEFOLIATE A HANDFUL OF LEAVES. HONESTLY I THINK IVE PROBABLY HAD THIS YEARS PRIOR AND DIDNT RECOGNIZE IT. IM PRAYING EVERYTHING WORKS OUT. IM DOING MY PART. I'M GOING TO HAVE TO DO SOME MORE RESEARCH. 7/30 Came over to the 10th planet plant in the front row all the way in the back was drooped all down and is yellowing up pretty good. I defoliated what I could and gave it a gallon and a half of water. I defoliated any sep leaves I could find. If that plant foesnt pick up like they normally do I may need to ditch the plant. If it continues to get yellow and look unhealthy I'd rather get rid of it than risk more damage. It was light as a feather so I assume it will be fine. I'll update as I go. Everything else looked good though. EDIT: DESPITE IMMENSE ANXIETY I GOT THAT FEELING SO I WENT AND CHECKED THEM. THE ONE I WATERED DID PICK BACK UP BUT IT HAS A LOT OF YELLOW LEAVES. THE 10TH PLANET THATS DOING GOOD WAS BONE DRY AND STARTING TO DROOP. I GAVE IT 1.5 GALLONS. THE HUGE MK ULTRA ALSO WAS STARTING TO DROP AND LIGHT AS A FEATHER. I GAVE THAT A FULL WATERING CAN WHICH IS DAMN NEAR 2 GALLONS. THE REST WILL GET WATERED TOMORROW. NO SIGN OF SEP THIS TIME. I WASNT THERE LONG BUT STILL. THE OTHER PLANTS WERE LOOKING GOOD AND ALL PRAYING TO THE SUN. TOMORROW ILL WATER AND FEED. 7/31 Came over this morning to one of my plants on the 10 drooped right over. I shouldve watered it yesterday when I did the others that were light. Coincidentally the three that needed the water were the 3 revegs. I watered what didn't get it yesterday with a gallon each. I then fed everything a powerade bottle. Started liquid kool bloom today. We shall see how that goes. I defoliated quite a few leaves. I think I may have had sep in the past on some plants and just didn't notice. Plants still look good but I keep a good eye on them. And I defoliate a lot. I've taken my buddies advice and not sprayed anything. I don't really have any pests. A pillar here or there or a "A" cricket or jpn beetle. Of there is one four eyed plant bug but I can't seem to kill it. I've almost caught it a couple times. Anyway like usual I'll keep this updated. 8/1 Girls looked good this morning. I has to water the 10th planet in the front back and one of the 10s. Defoliated a few yellow leaves and picked off a couple sep leaves. It rained a little and I'm really surprised that I haven't seen MORE sep leaves. These girls are resilient. One more day and it's plant Dr day. That 10th planet that has had 3 treatments and will just receive its first "preventative dose" after the three big ones is doing amazing. That one special kush I the front is flowering much faster than anything else. I'm grateful for what I have. EDIT: WENT OVER TO SEE IF I NEEDED TO WATER AROUND 1PM. EVERYTHING LOOKED GOOD. THE FURTHEREST KUSH WAS A LITTLE LIGHT BUT IT CAN WAIT FOR TOMORROW. I DEFOLIATED ANY FADING LEAVES OR ANYTHING THAT EVEN LOOKED LIKE SEP. ALL PLANTS ARE IMPROVING AND LOOKING REALLY GOOD. MK ULTRA IS GOING FIRTHER INTO FLIWER TOO. FOUND ONE JPN BEETLE WHOCH I PROMPTLY KILLED. AROUND THE GOUSE THERE ARE ROSE BUSHES. LUCKILY. JPN BEETLES ARE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER FUCKING AND DESTROYING THE PLANT. IM VERY LUCKY DAD LETS ME KEEP THESE AS TRAP PLANTS. I WENT OUT AND PROBABLY COLLECTED 50 BY BRUSHING THEM IN SOAPY WATER. I HAD TO DO THAT 2 OR 3 TIMES A DAY ONE YEAR. IM SO GRATEFUL ROSES ARE THERE FAVORITE FOOD. PLANNING TO WATER TOMORROW AND I MAY APPLY PLANT DOCTOR A DAY EARLY. IM NOT SURE. IT WILL HAVE TO BE A DAY LATE OR A DAY EARLY. ILL PLAY IT BY EAR. I THINK THEY COULD WAIT REALISTICALLY. IM JOT SEEING MANY BAD LEAVES. KNOCK ON WOOD. 8/2 Must've rained last night. Plants looked great this morning. Wife had an early appointment so wi was at the garden before 6. It's getting to he cold in the mornings. That one special kush is so far ahead of everything else flowering wise. The others are catching up. I only found a couple leaves that looked like sep leaves. Plant Doctor tomm and the first preventative dose for the 10th planet I treated first. That's doing phenomenal. I may end up needing to spray for pillars later in the season. I'll keep this updated.

As always with GreenHouseSeeds I had successful germination within 24 hours then potted and placed under 80w LED white strip light and we saw her first set of baby leaves within 72 hours. With a little help from my trusty greenhouse Bio Enhancer I live in the UK and I'm lucky enough to have decent tap water at a PH of around 7, So I lower this to around 5 before adding 0.5g of Bio Enhancer . I water the coco & seed with this mixture only and I haven't had a failed germination for a very long time. I really swear by this powder feed, it's also organic and OMRI certified.

Everything going well with this strain no problems and growth is very fast, they bounce back after any defoliation. Day 41 - Gave them a haircut today and a good Biosys tea feed till run of will leave now till start of next week Planning to add a drip irrigation feed system this week to make this a little easier. 🤞 Will update next Sunday now end of week 6 as will be busy adjusting and implementing the irrigation feed.

Day 43 14/06/24 Friday So I definitely stunted her 🤦‍♂️ Braking that side really did her dirty, but she is starting to recover bush tops and show female sex so it's a good start to the week. Adjusted LST again. Day 44 15/06/24 Saturday Feed today 6.4 Day 47 18/06/24 Tuesday Water today with calmag pH 6.2 She has blown again, beautiful. Tops all re bushed, pre flower commencing. Finally we cut this plant 13 weeks plant, it isn't a 8 weeks plant this is my main complaint about it, the bank should change the information because most of the people select this strains because are "faster".
