First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.

First off I just want to say for some reason it’s not letting me change the right temperatures on my diaries ! Each time when I put it in they stay at 50. My day air stays 75 degrees an , night degrees is 70 ! Today is day 58 for all these ladies! This week has been really great ! Girls really progressed a lot , especially for one the Forbiddin Runtz, looks like is gonna finish up in a week or 2 ! Other then that they are coming along well! 19.9 5th veg week done and still all rocking healthy and almost ready for flowering stage. I can't grow these much bigger space is the issue here. I decided to go jungle style this round and see how it goes. I'll see if I'll put netting in there to help with spacing.. One week and I'll flip to flower if not sooner let's see.. I removed some damaged leafs and lower parts also. These pics are day prior to that. Blue Fire's are about the same height other one is clearly more bushy at this stage. The New 's have pretty similiar structure. Other one is little smaller and it got topped one node earlier too. I think the size of these will determine when I start flowering. 11th week Only water. The plant starts to fade a little... the smell is increasing. My dog, as well as the cats, is also very interested in the plant 😅

Seedlings stretched a bit had to put them under the light early. Popped 2 seeds initially with 2 freebies I got, unfortunately the freebies didn't germinate in a week so I tossed them and popped two more Dolatos and all four germinated with 100% success rate. Kept them on a 20/4 schedule watering them only once and sprayed the top soil with a mister every now and again. 👍🏿

Day 71 Update: Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Water was just plain pH balanced water. Plant #1 has 5 days left on flush and Plant #2 has 11 days left on flush. Although with my tent filling up, I will probably harvest Plant #1 tomorrow as I don't think 4 days of being in there will make a difference in the end product. Day 72 Update: Harvested Plant #1 today. Plant #2 has 10 days left on flush. Day 74 Update: Watered plant with 3/4gal of pH balanced water until runoff. Plant #2 has 8 days left on flush. Also, added another stake to help support a heavier branch. Day 76 Update: Placed buds from Plant #1 in jars to start curing...maybe a little bit too long drying, but if that's the case I'll toss a boveda pack in. Plant #1's yield was 57.2g or 2oz 1.2g. Plant #2 will be harvested sometime next week and I will update the harvest page as soon as buds are dried and weighed.

I had alot of fun growing this strain, everytime I opened the tent and smelled that delicious strawberry, it really brought a smile to my face. I have tried Strawberry Pie #1, and she is delicious. The buds are extremely dense, and have a very nice pink and green contrast. I haven't tried #2 or #3 yet, but I am very much looking forward to it after some more curing time. I ended up making bubble hash out of the trim, and I got 8 grams, which I pressed into 4.7 grams of rosin, and all I can is that this is some of the best tasting and strongest rosin I have ever tried, let alone grown. I will be posting some videos of the flower being pressed once it is properly cured. I will say that after smoking, I realized I need some more Sativa for daytime use, so I am giving my Gorilla Cookies to a friend, and starting some Orange Sherbet instead. As a delicious night time/dessert smoke, and especially for those into concentrates, you absolutely can't go wrong. Thanks for checking me out and blaze on!

It will soon reach its full potential and bloom as if there were no tomorrow. Last night I personalized the conditions a little more precisely and adapted them to the respective growth. Since Lady Jealousy is still withering a bit, I keep the humidity just about at the reasonable limit of tolerability for both fully flowering Sweet Seeds ladies. I think temperature and humidity is a good but necessary compromise here. Different strains require different conditions. Especially when growth is so different. I also find the tribes of the three protagonists interesting... In my opinion, it tells us a lot about the selection of phenotypes in breeding. So my dears, the day takes its toll. Time to sleep.
