SUMMARY: - overall everything went smooth but I overcompensated the LED height, I started too high (lack of extension cords), then I dropped them too low, ultimately burning the second set of "starter" leaves (after the cotyledon set). I didn't get the humidifier and climate to synergize in the way I liked either, but it went well overall. nov. 11 12:00 - third seed has still not been able to germinate, resorting to emergency soak in glass of bottled flat water 15:00 - seed taken out of glass back in damp paper towel nov.12 23:00 - put humidifier inside tent set to 95% but rH never got to 60% according to AC infinity's humidistat in between both smart pots at soil level - lowered lights from 30inch to floor to 20inch to floor - soil is 3.5" from floor - seedling canopy is 1.5" tall nov. 13 - 15:00 Grow tent climate stabilizing with the humidifier helping keep the rH between 50-60%, which is about 10% higher than before. - note: humidifier is set to max 95% rH on its setting, claims the rH is high around 80% but the AC humidistat right at the canopy claims it is closer to 50%. - Keeping the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 controller set on 24/7 only on setting 2 - note: must be careful with the S6 active intake, as the ducting can drastically drop the cfm coming in, resulting in a rapidly increasing negative pressure which if left uncheck could force the tent to cave severely. It was very important to watch immediately when changing the inline fans speeds, and the ducting positioning to ensure a stable and safe pressure exists. - Temperature stable around 78F during 18H of LED light - soil is slowly drying up, its still significantly heavier than the empty pot, not quite moist so will have to see about watering, still trying to get those roots to work for it and avoid overwatering. - Turned on 6" mini fans to get the lanky stalks to dance a bit and strengthen, fans are about 2 feet away at 45 angle set on "normal" power nov. 14 19:00 - humidifier is able to get the tent to a low rH of around 60%+ nov. 15 14:00 - one hour after turning on lights without humidifier on and the rH drops from 53% (as it levels out to when lights are off for 8H) down to 40%. Nov. 16 17:00 - seedlings looking a little sad and in need of some water - the younger seedling’s leaves are starting to twist a little bit (like a propeller), this could potentially be from the mini fans moving them around. - gave both plants 3x waterings of 50ml each, over the course of 5 mins. Watered until run-off, soil was extremely light and dry as to encourage greater root growth. Water was measured at 6.92 and the run-off is measured at 7.21 for the younger smaller seedling but 8.14 for the larger older. Nov. 17 14:00 - seedlings had to sit in the room just under normal room lights as grow tent was set into final position and hooked up to the new ventilation going out of the house. - some potential concerns with the air exchange “leaking” cold air back into the tent - the concern is that the grow room sits around 70-74 during the warmest possible times - whereas, during the coldest possible times it is possible for the grow room to drop to 63, which is the lowest temp just outside of the danger zone - - 22:00 right now the fan settings are synchronized on 4 and humidifier set to 80% - it appears as if this setting will hold the rH around 60-70% and the temperature around 70-74F - grow room temp: 74 - humidifier: rH 78% - set to 80% - Older seedling getting some discoloured around the tips and a little bit of a brown tip - likely lowered LED too long, but they were out of the grow tent a few hours , so not worried at all and expect full recovery in 48 hours - Lights now 27 inch from the floor / 23 from canopy Specifications:😎👇 Seeds: - 2x White Widow feminized seeds from Crop King Seed Tent: - 4x4x6 Mammoth Grow tent LED: - 2x Spider Farmer SF1000 LED (default 100 watt draw for seedling but will be bumped up to 125 Watt for flowering if not sooner) Pots: - 2x 0.5 L starter pots - 2x 5 gal smart pots after transplant Soil: - Pro-mix containing mycorrhizae and perlite, used for starter pots and mixed at roughly 1:3 ratio with Ocean Forest - Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, used in the 5 gallon pots and mixed with roughly 3:1 ratio with pro-mix - note: pro mix was mixed thoroughly with ocean forest in the 5 gal pot, then pro-mix was used on the top layer, in and around where the transplant will be to help the early veg stage avoid getting too "hot" via nutrients. Things are looking good. I started counting Day 1 before the dummy leaves even shed the seed, also, I think the 3 gal pots are probably holding back the above ground growth a tad. Been watering about .5 gallons each in a ring just outside the plant every 2-3 days. They look healthy and I'm sure by the end of the week, they'll be screaming along. Not sure if I'm more excited about the ganja or the melons. Lol. Can't wait to enjoy both ☀️🍉💨

I’m week behind due to work a lot these days but here’s my girl on day 39 of flower. Starting to fill out more nicely now. Did some minor LST and defoliating as well to open up the canopy a bit. Patiently counting the days down till harvest. A little over 3 weeks left for this girl. One more feeding with nutrients and then every feeding afterwards will be plain water. Till next update ✌️🏾

I'm guessing there's about 3 more weeks of flowering left for this big girl. She's actually got a much denser growth of fan leaves than any of the indicas sharing the patio and I need to spend some more time pruning as we get closer to harvest. Just snuk my first taste of the little girl which has been curing for a couple weeks now and she's pretty tasty already. Weather has taken a hot streak of sorts. Forecasters are consistently off by about 10 degrees low recently. They forecast mid 80s and we get mid 90s. Gotta keep the girls hydrated this late in the game. August 27 -> added a video (actually shot more than a week ago) which I have Not managed to completely mangle yet. One of those retirement thangs... now that I have time to screw with stuff I never had time to mess with before ... I'm slow but learning. I doubled the video I originally shot because I couldn't bring myself to chop the audio because I just LOVE this audio (just yet anyway until I learn to fade something in iMovie). Day 76 - 29/11/23 OG Kush has a bit more of a fade after flushing 7 days ago. Bud sizes have not changed, but trichomes definitely have! More cloudy than clear this week! More amber head too!! I flushed her with an extra 2L of water on 27/11/23. Nice fade going on with all the leaves!! Im making sure all trichomes are nice and ready before the chop. until then, ill just be adding 2-300ml of water just to stop her from wilting. we're almost there!!!

01/01 happy new year start of a new week here. Top dressed with craft blend, pushin p, and ocean blend, and 2/1 mix of buildaflower and castings .and watered in rootwise goodies just 3 gallons also raised vpd to 1.2 and ppfd to 550-600 depending on the spot. 01/02 remembered to shift the hours down to 16/8 definitely gave em to much light for to long looked pissed before lights out. Also have been adjusting light height and power to get the ppfd I want and temp. Think I got it dialed in now. Just keep tucking for now 01/05 For some reason wat I logged the last few days is now gone from here... yesterday I watered in 17 gallons total 3.5 of that in the middle with supplemental stuff. I should have kept it at 14 gallons cus in slightly over saturated in the bottom but it should be fine. Continue to tuck in the trellis every morning filling the canopy out with tops.

Start of week 6

today with more experience. I see that I made some mistakes, about nutrients and some techniques, but as I repeat this was my second crop. it did not yield as much income as it should, but it was worth it, cultivating and learning.

Growth has been consistent, made it to 30" where I believe it's done with vertical growth. Not much to report, letting buds build now.

5 week Blooming

We are an update away from the results. Both control plants chopped by way of spin trimmer. Non defo has the biggest cola, defo plant has the most mains and seems a bit heavier when wet. Results in a week or so Sbg.com

End of Week 13 (6 week of flower) Cruise control on! Trying to make sure the environment is 100% in check, and I made a very light compost tea with some molasses and worm castings and a little bit of bone meal just to give them a calcium boost and some extra sugars so they can flourish into their final couple of weeks of flower. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

Let's start with the weekly overview: Flowering day 56 Both were poured with 1.2 l each and checked for their health. Flowering day 57 Today the tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled. The trichomes have been checked and are about 80% milky and 20% amber. Flowering day 58 Both were checked, and the technology was checked for functionality. Flowering day 59 Today both were checked and fresh osmosis water was left in the tank. Flowering day 60 Again, both were poured with 1 liter. Flowering day 61 Today was a pure control day. The trichomes are now 30% amber and 70% milky (a few days until harvest). Flowering day 62 Today the whole tent was cleaned. And got the darkroom ready. In the next few days we will go to the darkroom. Of course, there will be a harvest update before the last update. From the pictures the 2 seeds with the small tap roots are still on the plate, in a paper towel, in a dark place. I am hoping they make some progress today so that I can get them into their containers!!! My goal is to have 4 active sprouts in the new 5x5 tent, in a ScroG setup. So far only 1 has sprouted. I am finding the sprouting part the most difficult aspect of growing these wonderful plants. I still have 4 seeds in reserve and if the 2 don't continue germination and the other one doesn't sprout up through the flake of rockwool I have over the seed head, I'll get the other 4 into water.
