growing bushy as all hell, lifted lights to try get them to grow vertically more , we got some chubby plants right now lol

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are back!! This project started last Sunday an Germination week was a success for these Purple punch’s an Forbiddin Runtz from Fastbuds 😍! I went with my paper towel method, sprayed down paper towel with pure water, folded it up inside sandwich bag un seeled in a dark cupboard. Checked everyday to make sure paper towel was still moist and on 3rd day we had all 6 pop open! I planted them Wednesday and all 6 popped up in soil on Friday in my Ac Infinity pots using Fox Farms Happy Frog soil! Tomorrow we will give them a small dose of nutrients, will be doing nutes on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays only rest get pure water! Loads shearing is still on going. 2-4 hour of no elec!! Not ideal to say the least. All things considered the plants are doing fantastic. They are starting to put on some size. The smell coming from the tent it's crazy😍

I pored 2 liters of 0.6% hydrogen peroxide into the top of each plant. Then 2 days later watered in some beneficial nematodes (Steinernema spp.) and topped the pots with a decent layer of GnatNix. Bye bye gnats. • I noticed the EC value drop in the nutrient reservoir. Next week will need to be slightly higher. pH stayed pretty stable. • At the end of flower week 1, I did an under trim of any bud sites that would never make the surface. I do this to stop any fluffy buds from developing underneath. I want big dense buds on top only.

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. To do this, I used LST at Dr Grinspoon and tied the lady with hooks to the Cocos / Terra substrate rubter. I will do this with her more often, just like I will topping her more often because she will grow too extreme in the bloom. It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Welcome to my grow diary of the Royal queen seeds Royal Gorilla very nice looking, overall very good performance for this kind of (not so good) weather. Hoping for flowering to set soon, warm weather is coming this week, so maybe in a couple of days we can see the first flowering hairs.

🌱 Grow Journal – Week 5 Week 5 of veg, and things are looking better. The plant has clearly shown signs of recovery since last week’s transplant and repot. It’s gained back some strength, which is really good to see. I took off the dome because it felt way too hot underneath. Without it, the environment is much easier for the plant. I also switched on bottom feeding by opening the Autopot valve. Now the nutrient solution wicks up from below, and that seems to have helped a lot. Not an instant boost, more like the steady support it was missing. I think it was slightly under-irrigated before. The plant is now back on track and should return to normal growth over the next weeks. The start was rough, but I’m glad to see it hanging on and gaining vigor again. I also turned on the air pump to run the AirDome at the bottom of the Autopot, giving the roots more oxygen. We’ll keep an eye on how it responds this week. As for conditions, it’s still pretty hot: temps around 25–27 °C, sometimes hitting 30 °C. Humidity stays low, about 50%, not ideal but manageable. That’s it for this week. D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I guess the Desfrans are growing vertically now. However, I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones !

The purplematic is foxtailing rly strong :/ but i do not mind that too much, i am much more sad about the actual size of the plants. Got 2 auto hulkberry rdy for next summer. The hulkberry is stacking up in a way more sadisfying way harvested at day 4 of the week
