6/1 I'm anxious to get my plants in their final homes. Another 90 degree day today and then it will be cooling off with some showers. I plan to take advantage and utilize that to make the transition. I have some small burns on a couple plants bit considering the weather we've had its nothing. Temperature swings 50 degrees. I hope these girls do OK outside. I was tired and stoned last night and I accidently topped a plant I had already FIMed. Oh well. Transplants soon. Supports screwed in after the heat. Plants have been handling this weather like a champ. Big thick healthy stalks. UPDATE PUT THE PLANTS IN AROUND 730. Cutting down on light hours I'm poverty close to where we are. It was 95 today. Plants have suprisingly little burning. My fan was taken so they go without that tonight too. In the next few days it's going to cool down and that's when I'll transplant. Only thing left before transplant is sanitizing trellis and supports. Easy peezy. Especially if it's supposed to be in the 50s. And people dent climate change lol. I'm hoping that all this adversity makes my flower a higher quality. I'm glad to have the quantity to pick the best phenos for the BIG POTS. Im trying to stay excited but it's just so dumb hot. Oh well. If the plants can do it so can I. I'm planning to give them some kelp me kelp you next watering and may start some light organic nutes. 6/2 Phone doesn't like uploading my videos. Broke record high temp yesterday 95 and tomorrow we will break the record low 50. Plants withstood the heat well and are doing great. Transplant soon. They were a little light but I held off on the water. Plan on it tomorrow. May transplant tomorrow. I have several videos that haven't uploaded. I thought they did but I was wrong. Oh well. UPDATE: Forgot to water. Some were light and others could've held off. Did the half a powerade bottle ahain. A litt ke less on the heavier ones. However I'm looking to transplant into final homes tonight and into this weekend. I sanitized a fifty and a forty so my bags and two pots are sanitized. Cage is sanitized and ready and pallets are sanktized and in place. The 40 and 60 fit PERFECT in the small space left from the pallets. Plus the plants always lean the opposite direction so things should go smooth. Only thingvleft is sanitizing stakes, bamboo, plastic garden stakes and all the other plastic training stuff. I'll just soak it while I transplant. Gotta mix the soil first too though. UPDATE. Heat went higher than expected and hit 90. I figured I'd go back around three and screw in suppirt stakes and begin getting everything ready for transplant (i.e. supports, mix soil, sanitize trellis) before I transplanted tomorrow MORNING was what I had planned. Unfortunately we got a huge thunderstorm with a shot ton of rain and it's gonna continue throughout the night. I think this is God's way of telling me to take a break. I can get up early and get those support stakes screwed in. Then when I get back from the wife's doctor's I can do the transplants. I'm trying to break the labor up into manageable chunks. Looking at my other diaries I can see that my plantscare fine in their three gallon homes. It'd a little disheartening seeing such big clones that I started so much earlier on the other diaries. However I always was fighting SOMETHING (usually more than one thing) and last year was a shit show. At least this year I stay away from anyone else's cannabis any clones and I'm extremely cautious. I've seen my cousin out perform me multiple times with healthy plants like this I'm excited to see how it goes. I really needed the break anyway but tomorrow morning the stakes will be in. Hopefully they'll be outside. 6/3 Broke the record for low days after breaking record for highs. I saw it 94 yesterday and the day before. On the way to my grow at 6am it was 44 degrees and it's not warming up much. Fifties at best. Rainy. I left the door closed. The big door on the otherside got opened as the other end of the garage neededcto he used. If the rain let's up I'm going to set up the grade stakes so I can transplant in the morning and throughout the day. I think I'm going to light dep a couple of them and leave them in the 3's. We'll see. UPDATE: At 12:30 the temp today was 44. Yesterday it was 94. I can't believe this. Plants are doing great though and are in the garage under lights for the day. The BIG door was open part of the day. Didn't take any pictures (or even enter the grow area) as I sanitized the last 40 gallon pot and a bunch of grade stakes. I drilled the grade stakes to the pallets in the front. The first row is done. Just need to sanitize the plastic trellis itself and finish attaching the other grade stakes. I don't need the fill trellis up by transplant. I just need the bags to not knock over and have SOME support. I'll be back over there either to tonight to put more supports in or tomorrow when I actually plan to start transplanting. I'm getting excited. After dealing witb the stiff that I sanitized I didn't dare go fuck with my plants so I looked through the window. I'll finish sanitizing the net tomorrow. These plants look great. I'm wondering if doing the two diagonal I poles with zipties actually works. It would save me some kone for sure. I'll definitely update in the morning. 6/4 It's warmed up to a balmy 44 degrees. My plantsxare in the garage still. Weather sucks this whole week but after this heavy rain it should be perfect weather to transplant these girls. I decided to try to transplant one. I grabbed a 10th planet and started to go. I had done a bunch of manual labor already so i wasn't thinking. Of course the fucker was dry and didn't wanna come out ofcthe pot and the root ball pretty much decintigrated in my hand so I'm not sure how that will go. Tried again with the Blueberry Cheese Cake. I thought the roots just might not have been rootbound abdcthat could've been the case. After having another rough transplant I recognized I was tired, all the hard stuff is done and it's gonna keep raining until Friday. I wanted to transplant three and put them outside but with the wind and rain and the difficult transplant I let them sit under the light in the garage in indirect light. Plus these plants haven't filled the 3 gallon pots with roots yet but i want hem in their final homes and its time to go outside. SUCSESS! I now know for a fact that the pollen did its job. I am 2-3 weeks out from pulling the plug on the lights and giving them the axe. looks like some are starting to mature so I will let them cruse on auto pilot for the next 3 week just giving them plain water PH 6.0 this should use up the dry nuites in the coco and work as a flush as well. Some nutrient burn from the last blast feeding, but I can live with it. I think my PPM meter is out of calibration and it gave me a lower reading than what was in the feeding. I'm pretty happy my first pollen chucking experiment worked. This will be a Feminized S1 IBL " inbred line" The original female that was sprayed with the CS never got pollenated. the other 2 were by me 2 branches each, some may have popped in the tent before. I will find out how many buds got knocked up in 3 weeks. The clones will have some buds on them seedless. so that's it for now. I'm in the home stretch in reality July 17th or so should be the finish line including drying time. soooooo close.😍

Update week 4 Bloom

Flowering – Day 21 | End of Week 3 Day 21 since the flip to 12/12, and today was finally cleanup day! The stretch is already over. There was barely any vertical growth during the last week, and the girls have clearly started focusing on flower development. Honestly, I think they’re looking pretty far along for just day 21. The buds are already forming nicely! Today I gave both plants a proper cleanup underneath, removing weak branches, lower shoots and anything that wasn’t getting enough light. I actually left quite a bit more on the plants than I normally would. Since this run is going to be washed, I’m not really worried about perfect-looking buds or bag appeal. This time it’s all about biomass, so even the smaller flowers are welcome. Right after the defoliation, I also switched off the AutoPot system for a little controlled dryback. I’ll leave it off for up to 48 hours, depending on how quickly the pots use up the remaining water. This is something I’ve had good experiences with back when I was hand watering. I used to time my defoliation so the next watering would be about two days later, instead of watering right after cutting everything back. The plants always seemed to handle it better that way. The idea isn’t to stress the plants or let the soil dry out. With BioTabs, I want to keep the microbial life happy and active. It’s more about giving the root zone a little breathing room after removing so much leaf mass, especially now that the plants temporarily need less water. With 20L AutoPot FlexiPots and a 50/50 mix of Lightmix and perlite, the substrate is already pretty well aerated. This short break is just my way of managing moisture and keeping the roots healthy. I’m not trying to push yield through crop steering here. Apart from that, everything is going really well. The plants are looking super healthy, the leaf color is great, and the flowers are developing faster than I expected. The BioTabs setup is doing its job, and I’m really happy with how things are going. Three weeks into 12/12 and we’re already looking good. Now it’s time to let the girls do their thing and stack some flowers! 🌱

This week was nice. Really beautiful hues coming through, great structure , no f ups. The smellsAre amazing. I have started the ripener and cut back on nutrients - after heavy calmag week before and full feed. Aim to do this all this week ready for the flush week

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Alright lads 💪🏻 so we’re starting week 2 today - the girls are all having there own individual issues the joys or running multiple strains again 😂👌🏻, but we’re all looking really wellz so left side is looking a bit N def hungry still so I’ve upped the bio grow to 2ml and the right side is still showing she’s still got some nutes left from repot as shes good I’ve just left that to 1ml bio grow. All the clones are looking nice lush green, all starting to take shape now🕺 wait another 2 weeks until I start to flower them.. and see which of my keepers are as clones then take cutz off them before flowering my actual clones tent, keep the cutz in a separate tent and start popping more seeds of this next round. Either ripper seeds new limited edition or lit seeds can’t decide..😅, anyways gang cheers for stopping by until next week and we can see some bud formation happing 💪🏻 Update - end of week 2 of flowering - I’ve given them all a fair defoliation and taken a lot of lowers of to start focusing it on them tops. Still looking a bit pale lack of N but we should be okay if it seems keep progressing al just up feed to 2ml per litre. Other than that it’s going fairly smooth.

El overdrive está haciendo su función, y aparte de engordar se están poniendo con una capa blanca de thc. Acabamos la sexta semana y ahora tendré que estar atento para cortar la alimentación de aquí a una/dos semanas les quitaré la comida y les haremos su lavado de raíces . Os dejé varías fotos de la que fue la madre de mis clones de Haribo,( de mi colega) El aroma que desprenden es muy embriagador, es tan afrutado y dulzón que bffff es muy agradable gente. Week 9 of Flower & Happy Day 60 of Flower, you beauty 😍 She continues to stun with her amazing colours fading. I tried to best show her beauty with different bgr colors, with whatever is possible in my home. I decided against flushing her. I will decrease her feeding towards the end, but not flush her. From the pictures I would almost say she's there? I see so many amber ones and purple transparent milky mixed ones. Hard to say. She's also almost red now, her leaves, no leaf left without fading... I didn't plan for her to be ready this week, aaaaaaaaah. Will she make another 5 days? I hope so. Also the light green shining things, what is it? I find them curled up on buds, they grow a white hair outside but they are curled like a little ball, is it balls???? I watered them today with 3l and a lighter feeding, 2ml bloom and topmax. I guess it was her last watering 😌 Looking at the trichomes and planning a little time-wise, I think I might let her under the light the whole tomorrow, then start the next in Darkness and leave her in the dark for the following 48hours. That should give me some time to prepare her harvest and upcoming drying situation a bit better. Exciting yeay 😝 Day 62 of Flower and 132 days in total and this lady has her last day with light. I went and checked her trichomes again, from top to bottom. She's ready 😍Now into darkness for min. 48 hours yeay

Day 70-77 (Day 71) Not exactly sure why but node spacing on bbb 6&7 is super tight still. Their stems are also harder and less bendy, almost like they’re root bound. Bbb #5 in my veg tent is looking bizarre and I’m at a loss for what to do. I’ve been looking up and asking around about the leaf crinkle and no one seems to know what’s wrong. Trashing a pheno of this would hurt. It could be a keeper too as I don’t think the problem is genetic. It’s definitely root bound but that doesn’t cause contorted new growth like that. I’ve concluded that it’s my dense soil coupled with root bound issues, overwatering and high RH. (Day 72) Later tonight I’m going to give bbb 5 a bath tub flush until it’s reading 200ppms, drain it well and then transplant into a 3g pot with lightly amended soil. I’m also going to give it a light defoliation. I don’t mind stressing the shit out of this plant right now because I won’t be flipping for another week at least. With the small container it will run out of amended nutes mid flower so I will hit it with a few synthetic feedings around then to test out the smokabilty and taste compared to organic nutrients. I might as well give the rest a good defoliation on the rest of the plants too. I will try to get most of what is under the trellis. (Day 73) I definitely defoliated #7 waaay too much. Since it’s tucked away in the corner and a really bushy plant I can’t train it as well as the others. I cut most of the sucker branches and the majority of the lower fans. This should prevent the need to defoliate at all until week 3 of flower. (Day 74) I’ve been reading that higher temperatures with a high RH can affect growth big time. It could be what’s causing all the crinkling and twisting. And now that the plants are in very late veg they could probably benefit from a lower RH. When I was running my temps around 74-78F and 70% RH I was in the perfect range. Now that I’m around 82-86F with the same 70% RH that could be what’s causing it. Hotter air holds more moisture than cooler air and proper vpd at 84F is around 75-80%. I’m going to turn up the speed on my carbon filter and set my controller to 75%. If I don’t see a difference or it gets worse I will drop to 65 and go from there. (Day 76) I finally got the lights raised up another 4 inches or so. It’s not much but it should help reduce the intensity and stretch the nodes more. I’m starting to think the super tight node spacing and droopy/contorted growth has more to do with something I’ve been reading about called ‘soil compaction’. Apparently farmers often deal with compacted soil in fields from running tractors over it all day. When I potted the plants I gave them a good little jiggle to compact the soil down further so I could fit a bit more in the container. I think this could be the culprit as they don’t seem to be drying out evenly. Even the plants in my other room are not drying out like they should and it’s probably from compacting too. With the addition of rock dust and dry amendments the soil can become sandy/clay like and retain a lot more moisture. Wish I would have added a few more liters of perlite and packed the soil a bit looser. Either way I need to get this problem sorted ASAP before I get root rot. Earlier in the season when I overwatered, I stuck a fish tank air pump into the soil and it aerated the soil enough to prevent overwatering. The only reason I discontinued it is because it didn’t have much effect in the 1.7g pots. I just ordered a 36w 6 way fish tank pump that is way more powerful. It was 50 bucks and I’m willing to take a gamble on it. It seems to be my only option at the moment because I can’t just repot. Worst case scenario I can use it for brewing compost teas if it doesn’t work. I’m not sure how well this will work in a giant fabric pot but it’s worth a shot. I’ve heard of people supplementing additional air into raised garden beds with great results. I’m picking off some of the new auxiliary branches to try and widen the node spacing. Growth is definitely slow and stunted but no signs of deficiencies. I just thought of another theory on the node spacing... and the more I think about it, the more I think it’s the mystery problem. I’ve been foliar spraying with 1-1-1 VeloKelp at pretty high concentrations 2-3 times per week. I have heard in passing that kelp and seaweed can somehow reduce stretch. A quick google search reveals that Ascophyllum Nodosum Seaweed and other marine algae extracts contain large amounts of hormones and auxins that reduce plant height and stretch. *facepalm* Guess I’ll stop that for the rest of the cycle. As far as I know there is nothing I can really do but wait for the plant to use up all those excess hormones and nutes. The recent 0-0-15 seaweed extract and 1-0-3 kelp meal I bought is derived from the same kind as the velokelp. I guess I won’t use it again until week 3 or 4 in flower. Tight nodes are very useful in flower but aren’t desirable at all in when trying to scrog in veg. Especially when they’re like a half inch apart. It slows the shit out of a grow. Vietnamese and biker gangs in my area used to grow SOG style and use a synthetic PGR hormone (meant for bonsai trees) called ‘paclobutrazol’ that would make the weed rock hard dense so they wouldn’t have to pay people as much to trim it. I’ve heard that in recent years they have made the switch to using kelp extracts because paclo is getting harder find and is not meant for food crops let alone smokeable crops. I’m ashamed of it but I have smoked pounds of PGR weed long before I knew what a PGR was. 🤷‍♂️ (Day 77) One more theory. Ever since raising up the plants up onto that shelf the root zone is probably significantly warmer and the bottom of the pot (where most of the roots are) drys out way quicker. It’s possible that the warmer root zone could not be holding dissolved oxygen at the proper rate resulting in that over/underwatered look. Or it could be that I’m not watering enough at once to reach the bottom of the pot where the roots are and it’s indeed under watered. I’m going to water in a gallon when I get my new air pump and see if that makes any positive change. If I see the new air pump making a difference, I will flip on the 21st of April. If I don’t see a difference, I will carefully untangle the plants from the scrog net and remove the shelf. That extra foot should make a massive difference with ppfd and will cool down the roots significantly too. I’m thinking about grabbing a simple soil/compost thermometer to check the temp of the medium. Better safe than sorry. Rough week. Hopefully everything get smoothed out in the next little while before I flip.

Hello This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Will be flushing for the next 2 weeks. They got their last nutrient feeding... It will be just ph adjusted tap water from here to the end. I can't figure out why 2 plants leaves are turning yellow, If it was heat stress they should all look the same Plant #2 has more yellow leaves than Plant #1 has some and Plant #3 hardly has any yellow leaves. They've all got the same treatment. They all got a big spoonful of Cal-Mag powder 1/2 way through flowering. Called Wollammo.com Maybe plant #2 is finishing earlier than the rest... I'll check the resin for amber crystals when I'm done... The buds are dense but not quite rock hard. The secondary buds are dense too. I hope they get denser in the last 2 weeks. Nice smells with the squeeze the bud and smell your fingers test. My wife said... when she smell my fingers... "Mmm... Delicious" Smells similar to the Dos Si Dos 33 a sweet musky desert smell, it also has hints of wood too. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Looking better and better each day Hopefully starting 12/12 before the plants fully revegged isnt super detrimental to the whole process.

This lady grew into a colourful mess, I would have liked to maybe keep her going for another week, but since I started giving her only water she faded out very quick. The buds smell really nice and lemony, but she did not frost up as I would have thought she would, maybe it was the pheno or on my part.
