Hey mates, I'm happy with my first grow. I'm learning so much. Day 29: I'm looking like a hypochondriac, but for the plants, all I see I think it's a disease. Now I'm seem the older leaves getting yellowing, and gotting some brown/dark spots and saw little flies walking at the soil, I've googled it and can be fungus gnats, what I'm supposed to do? About the pH: I never measured the pH cause I'm using the pH Perfect products of Advanced Nutrients and they say you dont know care about this. But I've started to use mineral water, to see if have some difference. Obvious the mineral water is more puriest and clear than the tap water. Lets see. Day 30: I've did the defoliation on all seeds, but on Seed 2 and 3 I've just removed dead or yellow/brown leaves, and at the Seed 1 I've removed the most of fan leaves, leaving two or three at max. Day 34: I'm happy with these girls, Seed 3 I've did not LST and she have 49cm, Seed 2 I've did a soft LST and she have 45cm and 3 main colas, Seed 3 I've did a more little harder LST and she has only 33cm and I think has 4 or 5 main colas, I really dont know the exact number cause one of them is a little lower than the 4 others.

She hasn't grown up, but she's filling out quite nicely. Looked at others growing Criteria Kush (CK photos) and noticed the growth of plant just before they put into flower. My husband decided thats what we are doing. He put up a trellis and we will use this to help during flowering. She seems happy and content. I hope she stretches and flowers nicely. Its flower time baby. 🌺⏳

Week 4 of flowering... Raising nutrients to maximum Changing Calcium Nitrate 15-0-0-33 to Calcium Chloride 0-0-0-27 EC: 1.3

10 September Harvest - see pictures. While some growers leave the plant whole when they cut, I do not. It is a personal preference and situational convenience if your a home grower. I chose to cut large, long branches, and remove any whole water leaves, as long as it doesn’t interfere with the bud formation. I don’t trim yet. This is done for a few of reasons: 1) It’s my last good close-up look at her until another 5 days or more, 2) I don’t want wet leaves drying on my buds if I can help it, and 3) I occasionally like being able to shine a small LED flashlight on the flowers while its drying. Mold is our greatest problem as growers, it can destroy a beautiful grow right up until the end process. Then I hang it in a dark closet, provide circulation and ventilation. Light and heat, anything above 80 degrees F, will start a break down in cannabinoids during the dry, it is ideal to stay away from both. I’m fortunate that a humidity level of 50- 55% and temperature of 65-70 degrees F is fairly consistent and easy to maintain. Anything below 60 degree F will prevent the adequate drying out of chlorophyll. Almost all my flower routinely take 5-7 days, some a little longer, to properly dry out. 15 September Trim - see pictures. First you’ll notice the buds have shrunk up to half their original size. This is just a fact that we growers have to deal with. Due to evaporation without uptake of water, it takes about 3 days for the chlorophyll to dry up, then slowly go through a chemical change. Along with the leaves, cannabinoids also begin a chemical change after 3 days called decarboxylation. A slow process where the THC level increases while curing. You want the leaf to be dry so they can be hand trimmed easily, but you do not want that bud so dry that it starts to fall apart in your hand. Try to handle carefully by the main stem to avoid touching the bud all together. A lot of these cut leaves will be covered with trichomes, good for making oils, or other products, it’s an option worth looking into keeping it. After trimming, I do separate a few premium flowers for my first smoq. Then loosely fill wide mouth quart mason jars with about 1 oz/28 gr of product per jar. I seal the lids for a few hours to determine what relative humidity they are at, see hygrometer pic, before making a decision to put in a 62% humidity control pack of my choice or to wait, then place in secure in a cool dark place with stable humidity and temperature. It is very important to then observe/burp or exchange the air as needed, up to several times a day, until 62% rh is achieved. Once your close to to your mark, put in your desired RH level control terpene shield. If you have a problem getting there: 1) it has dried out too much, no real solution, try to put several large cut stems left over from harvest into the jars with the buds to try and increase humidty, 2) it has not dried out enough, in this case no problem, just remove and dry out a little more. This is also a personal choice, some people like it drier in the 50% plus range. Whatever you do, research and preserve. At that time burping is no longer required. Cannabis will reach its peak potency potential at about 40 or so days into the cure. The finished product should be a perfect grind when cured correctly without clogging up your grinder, this could take a month. Now that I’ve said that, I’m sure someone has grown something that they have not been able to grind. It can remain in this state for an easy 6 months with little change, locking in all the terpenes and potencies. All you need to do is occasionally check the product to ensure there are no molds. If your grow/harvest/cure techniques are good this should not be an issue. It would not be uncommon to find many cannabis strains will last, with small degradable change, for up to one year after being stored this way. Using an airtight glass container, controlled relative humidity, maintained low temperature, and kept in darkness will equal maximum shelf life. Always avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 80 degrees F. The reasons I’ve ultimately chosen Deep Water Culture as a grow medium. Each has their own pros and cons indeed. I found the most efficient, less maintenance and ideal solution for my situation was DWC. Burdens to overcome depend on size up set-up; initial equipment cost, size of containers, ph monitors, air pumps, type of water to use-reverse osmosis, RO cost/set-up/maintenance, ways to transfer/change water and nutrients, what nutrients to use and schedules, takes several grows to learn and understand, a 1 year learning curv, easy to nutrient burn. The Benefits of growing in water; no dirt, no bugs, no diseases, rare nutrient deficiencies/toxicities, steady and rapid growth that enables the plant to reach its genetic potential. After harvest, there is about a 1 hour equipment cleanup, sterilization and turn around process before replanting. Cannabis will perform in so many different ways and mediums, no one way is the best and the best way is the one you are using, right. Chose what works for you in the long run. There will always be an initial cost in set-up. My advice if one were in need to cut corners, I would not recommend cheap lights. This single factor is the most critical, afford for the best. The notion that organic and water has a different taste, flavor and potency effect is absolutely debatable. The more we learn the better we grow and experience is always the best teacher. This is what works for me and my methods of growing in general from beginning to end. A BIG “Thank You” to everyone who stopped by to take a look. I enjoy Auto strains simply by what can be achieved in a short time. No matter the strain they will unveil one thing in common, the demand for attention. Tocar nela é ter certeza que ficara com a mao colando. Pelo contrario sinto que os buds estao piquenos... Nao sei se é por causa da minha lampada pois sinto que os tricomas estao ficando leitosos só que os buds nao engordaram...

Hello Diary. Here we are at the end of the last, seventh week of flowering for the Haze Berries. Their roommate Fat Banana is now drying in a box between them. 😎 Although there are two Haze Berries on the “farm,” I only photographed one for the diary. I do too many photos with one anyway, with two it would be really too much. But before the harvest I will take a few photos and another Haze Berry. 😉 Basically, the Haze Berrys exceeded my expectations, they grew big beautiful plants full of flowers. This will be perhaps the biggest yield for me so far. 💪 As can be seen in the first photo where all the plants are, it can be seen that the Haze Berrys did not grow even remotely similar. The second Haze Berry has grown twice as short as the first. The structure of the plant itself is different, but will be seen in the final photos. Watering is every three days, the last two weeks I water with clean water which I regulate p.H at 6.3. Conditions on the "farm" are almost ideal, the temperature in the Box is about 25, 26 degrees, the humidity is about 40%, sometimes even lower. Now everything is ready, here and there I see some brown trichomes so I will still have to wait a day or two until harvest. 😀 Here’s what the last week of flowering looked like. 28/11/2020 - Day 65. Watering. I regulated the p.H of water to 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 40% humidity. 1/12/2020 - Day 68. Watering. Like three days ago. It was the last watering for Haze Barry before the harvest. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.3 degrees and 37% humidity. 3/12/2020 - Day 70. Usual photography for the end of the current week. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.6 degrees and 40% humidity. In the end I can say that I am very excited about the harvest, it will be interesting to see the outcome in the end. Strawberry Banana was chopped at 17 weeks and dried for 12 days..104 grams on the scale which is roughly 3.7 oz…Pretty awesome for one plant I think! She took me a few hours to trim and let me tell you I was so impatient to jar her up during the drying process. She smells super piney idk that I would say I get any fruity aroma but dank regardless! Her appearance does lack a little due to my burning her with nutes at week 10..kinda mad at myself for that but she still has plenty of bag appeal. I just know she could’ve been frostier! Got a good amount of kief from the trim as well. Overall my best plant from my first grow. She has taught me so much and I’ll never forget her!

It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍. The buds are getting thicker and thicker and already smell very good :-). The time has come when she no longer puts her strength into growth but into the flowers :-). It was poured 3 times this week with 1.2 l each time. When watering, there was 1 g of GHSC enhancer per liter of water as every 2 weeks 👍. Of course, as always, the tent was cleaned every day and the humidifier refilled. The complete filter system was also checked again. I filled the tank with fresh osmosis water for the coming week. I wish you all a nice week. Hello my 2 followers. And hello to the new one haha. Sorry for the late update! The last weeks were quite busy. But yes the 2 beauties keep doing there thing. Growing everyday, its always a pleasure to look at them. But now they grow more in body not in height, cause i topped them 4 weeks ago another time. They get 15 liters of water every day. But I maybe have to tone it down the next weeks, cause our 10meter deep well is barely recharging cause it is dry as fucking fuck in Germany. It takes 2 days so that 30cm fill up at the bottom. This summer is really the driest that i can remember of. All the gras in our garden is already dead. Its crazy! Maybe i have to use tap-water for my plants at some point. Anyway the plants got treated with the best organic fertilizer, that one that you cant buy anywhere, cause it is so limited edition, that fertilizer that would ruin the fertilizer companies if more ppl would know about it, cause its free: compost and "brennessel-jauche". 😂 The plants just love it! But now I think I have to add some more for #2 cause it shows some nitrogen defficiency in the old big leaves, you can see it in the videos. Tmr they will get some long awaited compost-tea treatment, and maybe some spraying with lactic-acid-bacteria to clean them from anything unwanted🙏 The calendula are doing a good job in keeping unwanted bugs away. In Italia i cambiamenti climatici sono molto evidenti, questo mese di maggio è stato come aprile cioè pioggia incessante ogni giorno e temperature pazze con sbalzi assurdi ma nonostante ciò le bellissime dutchfem autofiorenti continuano a crescere in maniera abbondante, rapida e compatte. Ero preoccupato per il terreno troppo bagnato ma per fortuna non hanno minimamente stressato o rallentato la crescita di queste varietà autofiorenti così adatte ad ogni esigenza. Alcune sono già in pre fioritura e massimo tra dieci giorni la fioritura sarà evidente. Il meteo migliorerà tra una settimana circa e quindi con il caldo estivo forte italiano queste varietà non faranno che fiorire in maniera massiccia come ogni anno saranno risultati indimenticabili soprattutto in outdoor biologico. Alcune sono state morse da lumache che spesso tentano di mangiare le foglie ma non hanno ottenuto nulla, queste piante si difendono bene. I nutrienti a lenta cessione è risultato inutile con la pioggia incessante si è sciolto subito ma non è un problema perché il terreno è molto equilibrato e nutrito da anni. Verranno nutrite a fioritura inoltrata,per ora crescono abbastanza rapide e non hanno bisogno di ulteriori attenzioni. Hanno circa sei internodi alcune quindi la fioritura magica a breve inizieranno tutte insieme come una sinfonia musicale!

Part 1 of a video project I give myself for this run. And wow ,I'm absolutely loving this grow. The girls are preforming brilliantly with the training, although the Forbidden Runtz excelled with LST more so then the StrawNana, she is more bushy and compact, which made it quite tight in the 2x2 grow tent, but not overcrowded. I'm just a grower, who just loves growing. My passion was vegetable gardening, but living arrangements are different now and can no longer have a garden..... but it has opened up the possibility of indoor cannabis growing which wasn't a option for me before. My medium is a make up of reamended soil from my last run, to make my 25% supersoil base, 65% complete organic compost and topped off with 10% light seedling soil. I also fed a compost extraction once a week from WEEK 5 and they always responded brilliantly. I used the chop and drop technique when I defoliated which my worms seem to love and also used the compost feed for my compost extraction as a mulch layer every week after the feed, which covered the defoliated leaves. Week 4 Day 28 & Topped.

🐶 🐕 🐶 🐕 🐶 🐕 🐶 🐕 🐶 So this diary is dedicated to my Big Boy Midnite 🐶 Due to his age and trouble with his hips , he needs a little help so I will be making him special CBD and CBG Treats .... So keep in mind that I will be doing a Bubble Hash Water Extraction with the SDR and CBG once that's done and dried I will be Decarbing it by then placing it on a sheet of parchment paper and placing in over at 220 degrees F for 20 to 25 min to fully decarb it . Get ready for a paw-some treat that your furry friend will go nuts for! These peanut butter CBD or CBG treats are made with wholesome ingredients like flour, rolled oats, and natural peanut butter. Perfect for a special treat or a relaxing snack, your pet will love these bite-sized delights! Ingredients: • 2 cups of flour • 1 cup of rolled oats • 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter • 1/4 cup of water or beef and or chicken broth • 2 teaspoons of decarbed CBD or CBG Instructions: • Preheat your oven to 350°F. • In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, rolled oats, and natural peanut butter. • Add in the water and or broth and the CBD or CBG, and continue to mix until well combined. • Roll out the mixture to about 1/2 to 5/8 inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. • Cut the mixture into bite-sized treats using a cookie cutter. • Place the treats on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. • Bake for 20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
