I had a lot of fun with this strain and it was grown against 400 growers so let me say PHENO hunting is a true thing. Overall the Bud was a nice dense structure and the smoke on it was smooth and the high nice and even.

HELLO GROWING FRIENDS - Please look at my Aftermovie Growvideo, which cost me about 4 hours to create. hope you like it! Day 72: The Finale ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŸ Itโ€™s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an endโ€”at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I canโ€™t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so muchโ€”from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. Iโ€™m absolutely hooked and canโ€™t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care Iโ€™ve put into this grow is visible, and Iโ€™m pretty proud of the results. Iโ€™ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to ๐Ÿ˜…), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1๏ธโƒฃ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2๏ธโƒฃ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. Iโ€™ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, Iโ€™ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3๏ธโƒฃ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 209 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4๏ธโƒฃ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, theyโ€™ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once theyโ€™re fully cured, but Iโ€™ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say itโ€™s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow ๐ŸŒฑโœจ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. Iโ€™m really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okayโ€”I canโ€™t fully gauge it yetโ€”but Iโ€™m sure thereโ€™s more potential to unlock. Iโ€™ve gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didnโ€™t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. Iโ€™m incredibly proud of my first results! As this long journey comes to an end, I want to thank everyone who followed along. I hope you enjoyed all the content. In that spirit, happy growing, and see you next time! ๐ŸŒŸ

Day 35 Flower Hey Growers. Things are going well here, other than the delicious funk that is emanating from my house. The carbon filter is not able to keep up with these beauties and the FastBuds flowering at the same time. Itโ€™s also about 5 years old soโ€ฆ..time for a new one. It also doesnโ€™t help that the 4 ft of snow around the house is melting and I have to have the grow room door open for the sump line, but whatever. These girls are just cruising along. I watered with 950 ppm and 1650 was the runoff. Iโ€™m noticing a bit of tip burn but I hear that normalish for full spectrum leds. They make the plants draw extra mag, seems like the Epsom is helping with that. Iโ€™m getting to a point where I may need to water twice a day to achieve denser quality buds, the next couple weeks will dictate that. Hand watering hydro is a terrible idea!!!!!!!!!! Too late to turn back. I am running the Vipar Spectra XS2000 at the recommended 16โ€ at 100%. Iโ€™m also alternating from the right to left side of the tent each day like a poor manโ€™s light mover. Iโ€™m noticing leaf edge curl (tacoing) but itโ€™s nothing major and they pointing upwards. They seem happy. All in all Iโ€™m happy with how itโ€™s going, just gonna keep it on cruise control and tuck or remove leaves causing problems. Happy Growing ๐ŸŒฑ

Hey guys :-) . This week I will use LST again, and everything radically shorten ๐Ÿ™ˆ. Not because I want to, but because I still have to save some time and height because there is still no space in the bloom chamber for 35 days ๐Ÿ˜‚. It grows great so far, and as with the last grows it is beautiful with it ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘. I wish everyone a nice week ๐Ÿ€๐ŸŒฑ. She is doing well overall other than a little over watering upon transplanting into the living soil. I didnt plan for drainage like I should have but it is what it is I believe I'm getting her kinked out. Any tips are always appreciated... debating on topping her this coming week or just running lst on her. Maybe both who knows

Plant #3 yellow hermied and pollinated the tent :( Can see some of the seeds in the bud closeups as well as the pollen and mini sacks of the plant on lower growth. Not a big fan of this, It was the one plant closest to the tent door zipper and only happened on the lower growth. Almost wondering if there was a light leak or if it was just the plant. Will test for light leaks when the plants are chopped and I can crawl in and manage it. The liverwort from last grow survived outside and is making weird spiky umbrella like things. Looks to be its flower for lack of better understanding and how its going to release a lot of spores for the next generation to grow. Big shoutout to Medic Grow for sponsoring the lighting in my tent, They have provided me with 2x Mini Sun 2's in the 240w configuration, They use the v1 growing spectrum that is a all purpose seed to harvest spectrum so their is no hassle of switching it mid grow. DAY 29: Wooohoo, it is that exciting time when we notice more of the little white hairs poking up around the bracts and the tips take on a bursting opening of growth appearance. The main 2 in flower are the Northern lights #1 and Grandaddys mimosa. Both have started to stretch and will benefit from the planned l.s.t to keep them in their best light . Northern lights has taken a very healthy S-bend in her stem as she wanted to go tall from the beginning. Her growth rate has been excellent under the light and I can see her stretching will certainly have me pushing the lights footprint limits. Grandaddys mimosa has also added a nice bit of height at around 12 inches now. A good start for stretching too. She has space and I have been removing the larfy lower growth from rhem all to not waste energy. She is a little more advanced in flower then the northern light but very close. Both of the Gorilla cookies are starting to join the party now and look like they are still in veg and pushing tips up for flowering but no signs of bract hairs yet so they will hopefully match the size of the other 2 soon enough. They are a bushier appearance than the other 2 strains so I will have to make sure they dont get overgrown by their canopies after the stretch periods. The mutant Northern lights has still remained small and hopeful but I wont be holding out too.much hope on her. I contacted Fast buds and used their after sales service to discuss the failed seeds. They were excellent and only needed a few details of purchase and a couple of pics with some info on what happened and they have now replaced the 3 that I lost. Well done for keeping true to your word @fastbuds . THE LIGHT What can I say about this amazing piece of tech. A small unit, solidly made and delivering a punch way better than I honestly expected. I thought it was going to be ok to sprout them and bring them up together then remove most of them to grow with my other lights while I flowered a single plant under it. Seeing how bloody capable it is , has thrown that plan out of the window altogether...... I plan now to grow all 4 main plants to harvest and really push the limits of this sunshine in a shade. For 150w of power , it is having no problems providing plenty of par for all of the girls to max their photosynthesis needs. All of them are in homemade super soil and the lights are their main input from my end so something is keeping them very happy indeed. In a box or cupboard , this light could work wonders on a single plant or couple of trained but I feel this would be hiding a lot of potential and underestimating its abilities. A very happy grow here . Let's see how it progresses. Nice work Viparspectra. Until next time. Be safe and well.

hello the plant is still very small, i think the roots gaining on weight and she will be bigger ------> ready for training ๐Ÿ˜€ she had some problems at the begginning; i think PH problems because of lower quality soil at the top ๐Ÿ’€ but the bottom mix is full of organic nutrients so as soon as the roots are big the plant could evolve!!

The ladies weren't very thirst this week. They got 1 gallon of nutrients each on Sun., 12/29, Wed., 1/1, and Sat., 1/4. Minimal fan leaf clearing throughout the week. Since the stretch is definitely over, on Wed., I lowered the light to 25 inches from the top of the Kush. It's coming down to the final 2-3 weeks. Time to start getting excited ...I'm also trying to decide if I am going to try and dry them in my basement so I can start on my next grow sooner. Decisions decisions. hahaha Enjoy the videos. The first one is of the walk-in closet that the grow tent is setup in and second is of what I have going on inside of the tent. I hope you like them and if you're a newb like me, hopefully you get something useful out of them. Thanks for following along. Happy smoking, and Happy New Year!

So it seems like the destilled water did the trick. The leaves have stopped yellowing rapidly. This is now the 12th week of flowering and alos its last week of nutes. The whole 13th week will be used for flushing. (with tap water with a ph val of around 8) Plant is very very close to the 6500k lamp to ensure enough light. I am using a portable fan to blow away the warm air from the leaves. I am feeding the plant around 50% the recommended dosage of nutes and yet some leaf tips are turning brown and curling up. Nutrient burn? Nutrient defficiency due to high ph? If anyone can pinpoint what my actual problem is please feel free to do so! Sprayed some buds and leaves with h202 to remove WPM,

There is no tip of the leaf that looks funny at the bottom or at the top ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. They were watered every 2 days with 1.3 l each (nutrients see table above).
