Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. En esta ocasión tenemos algunas plantas más grandes que otras, tenemos las red hot cookies miden 17 y 20 cm. Las tropicanas 15 y 20 cm y la purple punch og 16 cm. Vamos a hacer una agua con concentración de 1.35 para las grandes y de 1.2 para las que son un poco más pequeñas. Seguimos con un ph de 5.8 y se va notando ya la corrección de las carencias iniciales.

Ein herzliches Hallo an alle! Wir beschreiben die Vorblüte bzw. Blüte Woche 1 Sie hat ordentlich an Masse und Höhe zugelegt. Das Blätterdach entwickelt sich schön. Sie wächst sehr gut! Blattnager mögen sie noch immer besonders :-( Aufgrund des Wetterumschwungs musste ich die Düngemengen wie auch das Gießverhalten erhöhen. Das Düngen alle zwei Tage sagt ihr sehr zu, an den anderen Tagen verwende ich PH-angepasstes Wasser. Day 16 - 11/14: I'm starting to suspect that this seed was actually the 2nd Cali Snow seed from my other diary... When I germinated them I put them separated but on the same cloth. At one point the LSD rolled over into the Cali Snow seeds but I was PRETTY sure I knew which one it was. Looking at how the two seedlings are similar in their stunted growth compared to the big buy in the middle who's right on schedule. I think THAT might be the real LSD-25 but I might have to wait a few weeks before I figure it out 😂 You can see it's definitely struggling but it is still growing along. Let me know if you know what is going on with it! Still just using a spray bottle for the soil around the plants using plain water a couple times a day. I will start a light water Molasses/Water feeding starting next week most likely. DAY 19 - 11/17: Just got back from a day or so out of town. Left her well watered with her dome on to help with moisture loss. Left the Veg half of my LED on so not full power but still a great bit of progress when I got back today. It was struggling as a seedling (Why I think it might be the California Snow seed that switched places) but when it hit the first node, regular growth took over. Will give them all a dark period tonight to give them a break from the 36 or so hours of light they've had when I was away. Still just letting the FoxFarms Ocean Floor do the feeding with plain waterings with a spray bottle. Will start to feed the soil Molasses/Water mixes by the end of the week or as soon as I feel the little plants and handle a pour feed compared to gentle spray. Thanks for stopping by! Week 7 (Day 49) Flower- Another week in the books! Pretty easy going this week, two feeds, they were thirsty, and look like they are drying out already due to the low RH and thirsty buds… 😊 I thought that this might be a 10 week strain or so, but this week the trichomes have really become cloudy, with just a hint of amber in a small few. Last week they were all crystal balls, this week almost 50/50 from what I can tell… I think it’s time to start the flush process with just straight ph’d water. Getting excited and nervous at the same time, I’ve been nursing these girls along since June, and despite really not having any major issues, I am fully aware I could still F@$k it up when it comes to the dry and cure! Anyways, I’ll be looking for those tips and tricks Gromie’s 😊👊

She’s grown up; been doing some light defoliation, I remove 2-4 leaves a day as needed. Otherwise I’m still utilising leaf - tucking ‘ !

Week 3. Plant seems to be stressed a lot. Maybe the Clay pot isn’t good

On day 1 I adjusted the PH from 6.6 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 13.75" away from light. On day 2 I adjusted the PH from 6.4 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 12.5" away from light. On day 3 the PH is 6.2. The tallest cola is 11.5" from the light. On day 4 I didn't take data points long day... On day 5 the rez PH is 6.2. the tallest cola is 10" from the light. On day 6 the rez PH is 6.0. The tallest cola is 9.5" from the light. I defoliated heavily to bring in more light and airflow. On day 7 The tallest cola is 9" from the light. I mixed up a new rez.

Harvest done, I believe the result would be better if it hadn't suffered so much. But it's within expectations, let's see how it turns out after the drying and curing process..

Last couple of weeks she's been affected by high tent temps, hence all her curled leaves 😓 She is also a big plant in her little 10L fabric pot. I've noticed fabric pots really do dry out faster than airpots. That is a good thing, but you have to watch her drying out too quickly also! I think she'd make a monster plant in a 20L or 40L airpot.😍

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?
