Lessons learned from week 1 of my first grow so far: the best watering solution I found so far is a mix of distilled water from the store and filtered tap water. with a final ph of 6 and ppm of 20-40. a little ph buffer goes a bloody long way. Use with caution. performing tasks like mixing solution and potting a germinated seed are best performed without a phone (camera) in one hand. the seed germinated within 24 hours using paper towels. I planted after 36 hours. After 24 hours of potting, the stem was already shooting up, and I turned on the lights, set to an 18 hour schedule. I wasn't quite ready for this, so it took me some time to research and get the desired humidity and temperature. At this point I added more nutrient in even quantities of FloraGro, FloraMicro, and FloraBloom, according to instructions. Perhaps a little early though, although after just one 18 hour light cycle this plant is shooting up like a rocket and showing leaves. I bought a fan for the inside of the tent and propped it up on a box, and a humidifier to bring the humidity from 40-50% to around 70%. Since it's a winter grow, I have to periodically increase the temperature to keep it at 25 °C. The intake fan, humidifier, and inside fan are significantly lowering the temperature. I'm also experimenting with finding the right humidifier settings since the humidity seems to increase a lot when the lights go out, and the machine is still new.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 As you can see these ladies are growing nicely. They're both at the same height 59cm but one is wider than the other. Quite nice so far. That's 12cm in one week same as the Royal Gorilla. Evenly spread canopy, the one that had better shape from the start now has longer colas. Both are stacking nodes nice and tight. They have a nice green color to them but you can't really appreciate that in the pictures. I'm still trying to get a hand of this new phone, I might just go back to the camera. 🤔 Starting to get a little shine to them, I think this strain will be the first in forming trichomes. They give off a nice smell but I can't put my finger on it yet. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. Fade has fully set in now, just keeping an eye on the trichromes for harvest time. Plants are nice and frosty and smells very sweet. Was getting worried about harvest time and drying / curing as I go away for 2 weeks November 6th. Invested in some Grove bags for the cure so this has reduced my anxiety about leaving my harvest for so long during the beginning of cure. Don't have a lot of time these days to take pics so I'll sum things up. CO2 got outta control and the plants took tf off literally. The video is around middle of week 3, I had to flip at week 4 BC I literally ran out of room and I had to constantly defoliate.

She started to flower on August 3rd I have to force flower giving her total darkness because my house is full surrounded by the street lights and I wanna make sure that she flowers without any risk or problem,always have to do that with Photoperiods outdoors.

Well what a week indeed. I left for work and my assist got sick and was unable to check the ladies on a very critical day for coco and missed a feeding and the roots went dry for a split second. That was enough to put them behind where I wanted to be but luckily we didn’t lose them all together. How quickly it can happen when they increase their water uptake! But all is well that ends well and these 3 ladies are on track to go to flower in a week.

Removed the dead branch and topped the branches from second node to form 2x2 colas. Later on in the week I tied down the left main branch when it reached the proper length.

I've been flushing my 2 big plants for about a week now. They've grown denser buds and the trichomes are becoming milky and I expect them to be fully grown in a couple of days (I want about 80% of trichomes to be milky). The other one is flowering nicely and I feed her everyday. The smell also shifted to a very pleasant lemon/citrus aroma and the test bud I took off last week also has really good taste when smoking.
