Auto Opium week 8 8/11-17 For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue lovin life outside. These ladies are maturing as many fans are yellowing and falling off. Temps are comfortable following Storm Debbie., in the 80 with low humidity Auto Opium is thin and spindly, branches continue to bend so I added hoop supports. I sure hope she makes it to the end in one piece. If necessary, I remove the colas and chuck into the freezer.. Buds are fattening up, trichomes are minimal at this time but some fragrance is starting to be noticed. Blue Dream'Matic is looking beautiful. The buds are getting fat and frosty 👍 She is a bit smaller than I expected since she is advertised as "XXL" but, I don't really care. These buds look tasty as hell!! I'll take quality over quantity any day. Blue Dream'Matic is back-left in the group pics.

Another week down few more to go can't wait!! While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Day 18 Transplanted today the plants into their 11L pots.😊 While instead i will let the Lemon Tree grow for another 4/5 days in the same pot because she only got 13 days, so I prefer to have it strengthened a little before the transplant. Day 24 Mimosa, Meringue, and Kmintz were Topped, Defoliated and also applied a light LST to the main stems of the plants. I will do the same for the Lemon Tree in the next 2/3 days.. I hope they have a quick recovery 🤞🏻 Day 27 LST also performed on the side branches of all plants except the Kmintz which is too small to bend its branches. Also Today we got 21 days for the Lemon Tree which has a great shape! Carried out topping, LST and a little defoliation.. 🙌🏻 In the next few days I will let them grow them without further stress. I can honestly say this strain has been the easiest to maintain and has been flourishing so well . Nugs doubled up in size in ONE WEEK ! Which makes me a proud canna MOM . But I took a little video for you grow pals out there so see those details . She is a beauty and smells fruity and very similar smelling to actual watermelons. Things looking almost perfect other than INSECTS!!!!!😱 girls have been sprayed top to toe. I’ll continue to observe. But yes other than that great. The gelato are very big plants going outwards and upwards, all possible flowering spots seem to be taking and slowly covering in pistils😍😍😍 Fliwering has commenced ✌️🏻😬✌️🏻 The plants really bulking out now looking good and strong. And really are covered in flowers. They will get a new flowering light and a little more space to grow tomorrow 😍😍😍😍 hopefully great tings will follow. I’ll be using New Millennium Decision on the girls for a few days in the next couple of days, they really are as tall as they should go.🤔 New light in and tings looking good. After a couple of days under the new light the plants seem more than happy. It’s quite a slim line light too so I’m afforded a little extra room up top in case da girls decide to stretch anymore. Things seem to be settling down now and pistils are multiplying quicker by the day. Got a pleasant smell coming from the stems and leaves, very soft and non aggressive possibly a softer take on GSC coming through, but my nose although huge isn’t that good at picking up subtleties in the aromas it grabs a hold of. The girls really are looking strong and vibrant and seem to be wearing their new found flowers well.

She is exploding!! Unfortunately can’t be at home as I’m away from work to take care of her. She needs some training but I don’t think I’m going to get home in time to do it.. may have to just let it do it’s thing. I’m glad I topped it though. I’m a little worried I’m going to run out of vertical space.

I fucked up , the timer had gone back to 18-6 from the 12-12 I had it on 3 weeks ago and I just caught on .. fuck !! Not sure what will happen now if they will stretch again or potentially hermie … man I’m fkn stressed out Critical XL is just on auto pilot flying along , feed her up and watch her go . Keeping up the defol and spreading her out , same same next week .

Shes getting bigger 😄 weather is also slowly gettin better👨🏽‍🌾 she is a little bit younger as my Zkittelz plant, but i think she is a Little Bit Slower as the Zkittelz. Maybe too much Stress.

This was a fun week, the plants got their first feeding from the TripTonic line of nutrients. I did a light feeding and then had to readjust as the EC was a bit low considering the size of the plants. The runoff was a bit high and this maybe because of all the left over from the pro mix slow release, thought it would have been used up by now. They will get the same water as the rest of the plants on the deck for the remainder of the week. I don't know if the PH will get out of wack because of this, but given that it is mainly peat and it tends to be acidic I think I'm in the clear. The little video was fun to splice together too. Got a little package in the mail from a fellow grower. @GottaGrowSometime has shared some of their Fast Buds winnings and sent me some green crack cbd 1:1 and cbd 20:1, they also threw in seed of the cherry coke and a few extras. This is going to help me test out their CBD lineup and see if its worth growing out. Big shoutout to them for being a great community member. In return I will be sending them some of my backcrossed Dinamed CBD Kush Autoflower seeds I made, the testing is going well so best to see what it can do in other growers hands.
