The plants were stretching a bit, pretty much as expected - except for the Sour Strawberry. I don't know if it was due to it getting a bit less light since it was much shorter, but it tripled its size and overtook all of the other plants in height. OK. I guess I could have flipped 2 weeks earlier? Anyway, stretch was almost over, flowers started forming. Some of the plants still looked a bit meh and yellow-ish, but overall the growth during stretch looked healthier than the previous 1-2 weeks.

Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. Day 78-Day 15 of flower for GSC and 19 for GG#4. Did some rearranging in the tent because I ordered a new flowering tent setup. I’m excited to split these two girls off from the auto in the tent and put them under 480Ws. Fed em with 2L of nutrient solution and left it at that. Day 82- After I got the new flowering tent setup I did some defoliation on my girls so they can soak up all that extra light they’re getting now. Just put em under a 480W Ecofarm LED but it’s only at 50% power for now. I’m not supposed to be doing any of this because of the surgery I just had but I just can’t bring myself to wait for someone to come around and set it up for me.

The Sin di Anesia era una di quelle piante che vorresti avere sempre nel tuo box! Non ho avuto particolare attenzione per queste ragazze e vedo che sono cresciute bene e sopratutto belle piene! Ho iniziato a sciacquare con acqua 🚿 fredda ben 2 settimane prima per fare un test e per vedere se effettivamente aumenta la produzione di resina come si legge in giro in qualche articolo, beh non farlo se non vuoi stressare inutilmente le tue piante, dal mio di punto di vista non è cambiato nulla se non fate ingiallire prima tutte le foglie, stessa cosa le 48h di buio…il sole non si è ancora spento tutto questo tempo! Seguire invece un certo ritmo di luce e cambiare lo spettro delle tue luci, questo sì che può fare la differenza, meno luce rossa negli giorni e più luce UV metterà le tue piante nelle condizioni di difendersi da quella luce ultravioletta facendo produrre tricomi per questo motivo! Dovrebbe essere quello che si avvicina di più allo spettro solare autunnale 🏵️
