Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Really the usuals, clean her up and tie her down :) I did add a WiFi controlled watering system for when I go out of town tho, so that was nice! She is quite the shrub 15” tall and 40” wide >.< the trunk is approaching 1.75” diameter :)

09/06/2018 She has grow a little😀 bit,going to 1/2 strength nutes in res change today. Can't believe how thick her stem is! Had slight leaf tip burn from ferts but not enough to be concerned about. Started week with 9 liters in DWC bucket. Will top as needed with plain water. . Note: remember rinse hydroton! 09/10/2018 Getting nice growth this week,a little more leaf tip burn,but not excessive amount,also I topped her today I believe that I will go to 3/4strength next change and full strength for flowering.which is when I bring red spectrum up to 100%.

Using some Neem oil and hydrogen peroxide ONLY ON MEDIUM (since I'm in flower), to get rid of these dumb fungus gnats I think they are the reason for the brown spots forming on the leaves. Installed a trellis this week to help spread out the canopy and improve airflow, however when I did this my dumbass accidentally snapped one of the colas, luckily I think it'll be ok because it seems to have only snapped the outer skin layer on only one side of that stem (I wrapped a piece of duct tape around the little snap to help secure it). This week went well I think I've got the fungus gnats under control, the stem I partially snapped still looks to be completely healthy and growing well so no complaints here successful 2nd week of flower👍🏾

Trying to go back and see everything I did and I’m pretty sure it was the two nights of not having a heater down in the basement I live in Ohio. It gets really cold at night and then switching environments from veg tent to flower tent the combination of me over feeding and all of those I think is what has stunted her, going to give her another couple days to see if she jumps out of it 🔥💯

Day 21 since germination, added a little bit of fish mix to watering schedule, a little bit of yellowing on foliage, ph testing RO filtered water and bringing it down very slightly to 6.5, I think possibly the soil as all mix quite nutrient rich to start with so going really easy on the nutes at mo and not too concerned, if it continues or notice more will water till run off check ec of the soil just to be on safe side. Pleased with the amount of growth after 21 days :)

This week they proceed quickly apart from some small external climate problems still a little too cold but generally everything is ok, no problems neither with water nor with too much ferlizing .. So I can say that everything is going in the right direction! How about?

Dos Si Dos # 33 ready for drying in the jar, honest weight (53,5g) seeing the structure which was very small I would have expected something less.. but I am very satisfied. the quality of this weed is absolutely at the top, the taste is very well defined.. when smoked it makes your nose tingle,flavor it is mainly pure lemon with a hint of mint in it. even the strong smell induces an entire room in a few seconds without even smoking it yet. I also collected a 0.4g of scissor hash which turned out very well. it is my favorite in this crop because it surprised me in everything both for its unique terpene profile and for its yield that I never expected given its size compared to wedding cakes. the total weight therefore of all three plants is (135.5g) and a total trim of (44.9g) that according to the calculations even of these crops I reached (1g/watt) precisely. (And im not a pro) I am certainly satisfied with that. 🙌🏻💚

Change in colour on the plant to the right is getting worse, I only have one week left until the end of the grow, hopefully the plant will survive until the end. From now until the end of the grow I will remove one hour of light every day, until the last 3 days of full darkness. @FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. The other 3 GDP went through a flush today. Zkittlez was flushed. The very first GDP flushed in the 24th got flushed a 2nd time alongside the other 3 GDP. I’m still eyeballing to see when Runtz will be “ ready “. Finally got my dry box slapped together, DIY TIL I DIE BABY. Still it came out well for a first try. Heat ran out of control & I learned the HARD way why we don’t let our girls hang out above 85 for extended periods of time. I kinda had some severe foxtailing going on. Just biding my time until harvest , fingers crossed I don’t mess this last leg of the race up I’d be distraught . UPDATE : Lastly I found an area of BUD ROT on Runtz not knowing that’s what I had found the dust got flung in the air twice sooooo there’s spores in my tent & possibly on all my plants now . Trouble is I’ve flushed 5/10 plants & watered 5 others in the tent so humidity is super high. I’ve added in an additional dehumidifier because it is riding at 70%-80% . Within 3 mins of adding additional dehumidifier & opening tent doors as we as pointing circulatory fans at plants instead of the grow lights overall humidity dropped from 73% to 53% & still declining . Hopefully this is enough to keep the other 9 plants healthy & im going to have to harvest Runtz without Flushing . Week 7 started, plants are going well, biscotti mints 1 looks a bit behind of biscotti mints 2.. I flushed both plants, one in the beginning of the week 7 and number 2 after it dried out from last watering yesterday.. breeder says plants will be ready in 8-9 weeks so now only water and watch the trichomes to harvest in the best time 🙌🏼

Still some minimal LST. Lots of tops. One plant super purple in color. Other plant still green and no purple at all. Huge difference in the plants though. One is lighter in color, taller, and slimmer. The other is dark green, shorter, and fatter. Both doing amazing. Added 2 new plants in the tent this week. All are loving life!

She is still an ABSOLUTE BEAST. Still vegging out . If she hasn’t switched herself in one more week i may have to manipulate the light schedule to force her . I just don’t know how it will affect the other autos in my tent right now 🤷‍♀️
