Because of the extrem Defolitation/Schwazzing, which was more or less necessary regarding Humidtiy levels of of over 95% around evening night and morning. Even though I also did it for trying out how the Plants react. They mainly stopped growing Bud for 3-4 Days and the leaves of the Bud Sides got a bit Bigger. Also I had problems with NutBurn and Heat Burn, Nutburn because of my not constantly watered Pots which, I guess, ended up beeing a really salty and nutrient soaked(from the soil) substrate because they are reused Filters for Water out of clay. As well in midday it gets really hot and we are more than 3500ft over the sea level. And why I grow in Clay Filters ? Just to try, in my opinion already not recommendable even though it keeps the Soil a bit cooler..

At day 20, I can see that the strech phase is almost over. The girls are now expressing a more specific nose, even if they share a similar aromatic profile of exotic fruits. They all share that same tropical funk back ground (myrcene/terpinolene), but some of them (#2 and 4) got a solid punch of sour lemon. I had a really great time growing these girls. The question regarding smell went out the window when they were drying!!! I had move my carbon filter and fan out the tent and in the living room. The smell was leaking out the apartment!! I’ve only sampled one of the 5 sisters. Who look so different. But all have the same smell for the most part. Gonna cure them all for the minimum 2weeks and see what that does tobyhe smell and taste also potency. Back to sample test very smooth smoke it was a tiny bit greeny in flavor. *If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. Final week now. I watered with clear water today and it’ll be the last time. Harvest will be on the weekend probably. Was a nice ride with some hurdles but it should turn out alright. Excited for the next grow already. Will most probably be Dynamite Diesel. Stay tuned for more. Update: All the branches are hanging at half past eight, as we say in German. None of them can hold its weight properly anymore. Only one or two days left. I’m excited to see the roots. The ones in my first grow have been kinda crippled for various reasons mostly my fault. But this time the roots at day 12 when I repotted already looked stronger and even almost bigger than those of my first grow after the harvest. So I’m expecting the entire pots to be filled with strong roots justifying this so far magnificent result.

35 days since switching to 12/12, and the Trop Cherry lady is showing her true beauty. The leaves are gradually turning purple, and resin production is in full swing. Watering has been limited to dark molasses and a few microbes to keep the soil active 🍀🌲

She is staying short and compact like an indica. Only 3 inches of vertical growth the past week. Stretching only half as fast as some of the other in the tent. I prefer this structure of a plant! REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Will definitely update this as I finish trimming and curing!

Got a new camera lens so I hope pics are more interesting now!! Everything is great. Tent is getting stinky! Couple spots on some leaves so I added a bit more Calmag, but we are just coasting down the hill at this point! All the buds are fattening nicely and I'm looking forward to smoking soon!!! __________________________________________________________________ I'm pretty sure its just fade, but there are some brown spots around the flower. The lower growth is GREEEEEEN. I'm not worried at all and you can see I'm getting lovely photos! I took a sniff tonight and it smelt so good my toes curled a little!!! The ladies are glorious to behold, seriously, the flower is really blossoming and getting FAT! Caught up... things are going well, Bruce stretched like crazy and has evened up its canopy to the others idk if it's that big bud in it or what. Lilac has looked a solid week and half ahead of the others since flower, she looks wicked though, trichromes are starting to build. I've done my last training, I usually go hard on thinning but I'm trying to be conservative and only uncover buds under leaves. Still same feeding routine.. looking forward to the finish line but know this is an important time with terms and trichromes beginning to resonate... I sick at this guy's but I want to get better at chronicling my grows.. so hourly I will improve in the process of Journaling.
