10/27: I rearranged the garden today and checked to see if she needed water yet. Nope.. 10/28: I watered her with about 1/4 gallon including terpinator, bembe, cal-mag, and some beastie bloomz because she's a little K deficient. 10/29: She's only stretching about an inch every couple of days..spending more energy on pistils, which is fine by me. Damn she's a hungry one, though! I'm still planning to flush tomorrow with no major nutes, but will give her another little dose of N and a metric shit-ton of P and K once she dries back out. 10/30: I decided not to do a flush and just did a very thorough watering today with added terpinator, bembe, cal-mag, humic acid, myco and bene bacti. I put about a half-gallon through her and let her sit and soak up all the run-off. It should take a few days for her to dry out. 10/31: I checked her moisture level. I'll feed her tomorrow. She's still looking P and.or K deficient despite my attempts to correct it. 11/1: I took her out of the closet and did a little defoliating. I sprinkled a little bat guano on her soil and fed her with about a half-gallon including all the good stuff, including beastie bloomz and full strength Tiger bloom. Surely that'll do the trick... 11/2: She still looks terribly K deficient and I just don't get it..thinking maybe my Ph tester needs recalibration or something. Like, maybe it's just to acidic for the K to be absorbed... I sprayed her thoroughly with boom boom spray and a little tiger bloom today.

Maybe 2 weeks left on her. She is getting denser by the day. Smells so strong and sweet. Getting very nice fade now, will stop feeding next week and then just water.

seem to be doing well

This week we have another big jump in height; they are taller than myself. I gave them more bloom nutrients this week and the daylight is waining fast now. We finally got a considerable amount of rain in my area, that was nice and refreshing for all of us including the plants. I hope that as the light continues to drop off significantly and the nights start to get cool, we will start to see some buds 😎🌱

Day 10: The plants and the leafs grew a bit in size, they are still focusing on rooting. Added some veg nutrients today to the feeding schedule, because I saw some green spots, not to confuse with full green leafs, which is normal with new leafs and young plants or in later stage a (n)itrogen deficiency. No this indicates that they need just a little bit nutrients. Normaly this would not be the case with normal soil(it has nutrients in it for the first weeks), but again it can happen with cocos as a soil. The leafs on the pictures are like that because the lights are off + the humidifier makes the leafs wet which results in it getting heavy😝. Will update again this week, Enjoy for now 🙌

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. This is a lengthy diary but I hope that people can learn some stuff from my notes shall they read them! Thanks to everyone that followed the journey, showed support or just browsed through. It was a roller coaster ride guys but I started with four harvested I earlier got two ounce quick dry wasent flushed properly but these ones hav been there a some nice buds here n a hopefully will get a decent seed harvest stoned @chedderbob112 s2340420 don’t hav dry weight bud av went for fullness plant

And the saga continues! At least she seems to be worth waiting. Her smells now like a skunky caramel with herbs and next week I'm gonna start only giving her water to finish up in style hopefully

9/27/2018 Been a rainy damp week,cooler nights, no moulds as of yesterday and will update photos shortly if weather permits. Speak of the Devil, this am #2 has two spots of mould,cut ✂️ out,and trashed. All others no mould, #4 is covered with sand it keeps getting blown over!.#2 fading, #1 still Growing nice green very little fade just lower leaves lots of new pistils,#3 all hairs gone brown, and smells like Real old school Skunk!👍not much bud but still have couple weeks of flowering to fatten up and taste of Skunk getting me excited😁 10/02/2018 Week 7, day 5. Rainy days still very little mould just #3 so far. #1 looking fantastic.#2 pistils brownish,#3 pistils all brownish red dont see any New pistils but branches drooping from their weight #4 is still popping New flowers but lots brown all over, hope 2 weeks to finish! But cold is coming soon. #1 no signs of slowing down putting out lots of fresh flowers! Does not mind the cooler weather. Last bit of molasses to super charge microbes in the soil. Hope she comes in at 8-10 weeks👍 53-70 days flowering.

Hello my friends, ...May 30 , 2022....Day N°79.. ...Flowering day N°23... My three Feminized Watermelon Candy are fine, there are beautiful, flowers smells awesome. I feed them with the Hybrid powder and some Boster from Green House Feeding Nutrients. I gave them some CalGreen from Metrop, the best Cal-Mag of the market. Fed and defoliated to start week 7. The plant looks good, lots of frosty sticky buds, dense and very much on point for this stage of the grow.
