Banana Guava – Week 5 (Fast Buds Outdoor 2026) Excellent weather continues, so Banana Guava is receiving maximum sunshine and consistent feeding. She’s thriving outdoors under these ideal conditions. This week I got better sticks for support and secured her nicely. She’s now well over 15 cm tall with a gorgeous, deep green color and strong-looking leaves.

19/05/2021 la mattina dopo aver lollipoppato ho trovato le teste delle apicali tutte a curvate verso giù credo sia dovuto allo stress..... oggi andrò a visionare se si sono riprese dal stress dubito proverò a risolvere l overfert alzando tutta la lampada in cima al box(poca luce=poco mangiare) per 4 giorni.... e cercherò di guardare un po le radici delle baby perchè ho il sospetto che l overfert si un conseguenza di troppa irrigazione d acqua.... se cosi non fosse credo che laverò il terreno tutte le mie bimbe sperando iniziano a schiarirsi un po dal quel verde scuro altrimenti niente fioritura.... restate connessi 21/05/2021 ho alzato la lampada a 90cm per farle riprendere dal forte stress lo tenuta cosi per 48 ore... andrò il 24 a vedere cosa e successo...

Well this is a switch. The plant that was small has caught up to the bigger one and the bigger one is slowly getting better. Was having a issue with my tank temperature and luckily both plants seem to have avoided any issues. They both do have a bit of purple in the stems but it seems to be fading so I'm hoping that there issues are sorted out lol. Today is the last day of veg and the first day of flower is to come. If it goes a full 8 to 9 weeks I'll be looking at a March harvest. If that's the case I might be able to squeeze in a quick auto flower grow before the family summer vacation lol. The temperature has been getting warmer outside and the night time temperature hasn't been to bad. The humidity has been stay around 50% all week and thats were id like to keep it but we're expecting a lot of rain over the next few weeks so we'll see how well that works. I picked up 2 more temperature hydrometer meters with probes for the room. And with all the fans the air movement in the room has been great. Humidity and temperature is the same in every corner of the 8x9 room. I switched the lights from 24/0 to 18/6 this last week to get them ready for the approaching 12/12 light schedule. And because that is tomorrow I lowered the lights down so that tomorrow I just have to turn the lights up. I also emptied my tank and refilled it with the nutrients for flower so that the treys can empty a bit before I add all the new nutrients. I filled all the trays before I turned it all off so they would have enough for the night. Well that's all for now, happy growing and happy new years!!! Keep it growing!!!

This week will unfortunately be the last. After a sweltering week of intense heat, the temperature reached 41°C in the tent and the pistils turned brown. I decided to throw everything away and start from scratch.

Today is the end of the fourth week for the plant. In a couple of days I will transplant it and top it off, the good weather is finally coming... The plants spent most of the day outside today, and at some moments there was a very strong wind, and I was not there, so now they are protesting a bit and probably angry that I left them..to apologize, I played them half an hour of quality reggae music, so I hope we'll be fine by tomorrow lol Stay high and keep growing my brothers ‘n’ sisters!!!

I also did a Trichome check today things are moving along nicely. 6/7/2023 Week 9- Day 2 of Flower (Day 125 overall) I admit it I couldn't help it there were some blatant offender leaves blocking the light from some of the canopy buds so they had to go..... and when I took them I found a few more in between leaves that had to go.. so long story short some defoliation did happen.. :-) 6/8/2023 Week 9- Day 3 of Flower (Day 126 overall) Auto pilot re-engaged.. I sat back took some photos and just enjoyed how beautiful this light side and dark side thing the plants are doing The buds are almost as long as my Sharpie. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, I am starting to get concerned.... This girl should i've been in flower for a while now considering she is in such a small pot ( 1gallon ) ... i'm starting to think I'm going to have to flip her tonight... I'm starting to think she is not an autoflower...idk tho .. Herbies Seeds thank you for letting me showcase her. If indeed she is not an auto flower, I would not hold it against you as I know mother nature is unpredictable and nobody, not one breeder, out.There is perfect ... hopefully everything works out well.But she's running out of nutrients, because she should be flipped already.. I hope everybody's doing well.God bless and happy growing 🙏 ✌️. P.S i flipped her to 12 and 12 two days ago, and she is now starting her stretch, so this is not an auto flower... Especially being in such a small pot, she should be almost ready for harvest, and as you can see, she's running out of nutrients because the growdots our for a cycle of 5 weeks of veg not 9 or 10 ... i top dressed with more grow dots.We'll see how this pans out... In the last week, the plants grow a lot, they are very healthy, the firstly pistils are showing up. I think that the next week will start the bloom season.

7/1: This plant has been extremely fun to watch do its thing over the last few weeks. Those little mistakes I made or neglected in my first grow have significantly helped me get off on the right foot this time around. Not to mention, I feel that the plant/genetics is fairly low maintenance. As I mentioned at the end of last week's entry, I started a little LST on the lower most node. Today, I have added landscaping staples to the second lowest node to allow it to stretch out and get more light from under the quickly growing top canopy. In addition to starting LST on the second lowest node, I did bring the light down to 16 inches above canopy at 60% power. This gives me a PPFD reading of roughly 750, which could be inaccurate due to using the phone app, but it still gives me a good idea of how much I should bump light power up each time. 7/3: Today was a big day for the Mrs. Gorilla Cookie. I decided it was time to add in a bit more soil as well as some amendments. I added 3tbsp of Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 and 1tbsp Gaia Green All Purpose 4-4-4. I then reapplied the landscaping staples to continue LST. The plants seem to be responding well to the light increase that I applied on 7/1. At the time, I was worried it would be too much, but the plant is really soaking it up and praying toward the light. I may increase the light a bit more at the end of the week. In addition, I plan to try out a self watering base toward the end of the week. I will going out of town soon for the remainder of July and need to test the base before I leave. I do have buddies that will help, but I would like things to be as easy as possible for them. I also hear great things on these self watering bases and if it works out will, I will definitely incorporate them into future grows. 7/6: The end of week 4 has come and this plant is really starting to kick into high gear. I do think adding in the bloom amendments really helped. Great, speedy growth, and looking green and healthy. Pistils have started to form and she's definitely starting to get a little stank. The lights are still at 60% but due to the constant growth the canopy raised causing the light to be 12 inches close and PPFD up to 950. I did notice a tiny bit of tacoing so I lifted the light a couple inches. I am now trying to keep them at a constant 14 inches above the canopy with a PPFD of around 850. I will likely hold off on adjusting the brightness for another few days, as I am liking the results I'm seeing. I started the plant on her self-watering base yesterday when I would have usually given it a feeding. Its only been a day, so its too soon to tell just how well its working, but the soil seems to be at a perfect moisture at all times. I did feed a little from the top today to help some of the nutrients that may still be at the top work its way into the pot. Overall, solid week. This grow is already shaping up to exceed my expectations and I feel pretty good about making it through the Veg stage in one piece. On to the flowering stage! They just starting week 5. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to transplant them yet. So they are still in the 1 gallon nursery pots. I will be uppotting them tomorrow and getting them ready to flip in a week or so. They have been super easy to manage. I really like the structure on these two. No crowding, each node has enough space and light allowing them to grow at a good rate. Relative to the rest of the plant. Once they get transplanted and I turn the light up they are going to take off. 😁
