What a week, So I did a run off test end of last week and they was really high, but I would like to address the DNA Mills cork as I am using this in just one pot (A) to try it out I used 3/4 (B) to my normal coco in another pot 50:50 (C) in another at a 1/4 (D) then when just my normal coco mix ( E) and I havent seen much difference other then the retention of water... UNTILL NOW. So evaluating all my reading I have from run off this is how it WAS sitting running water with an EC 0.7 Ms/cm A - 2.4 Ms/cm B - 2.3 Ms/cm C - 2.0 Ms/cm D - 1.9 Ms/cm E - 1.5 Ms/cm So my conclusion is that I dont like the cork maybe I'm using it wrong somehow I dont know but in my experience, it seems to be grabbing hold of all the salts and not letting go, so this week I ran litres and litres of water through them to bring them down I can only get A down to 1.4 Ms/cm and am struggling to get it any further down does anyone have any suggestions. As for the deficiency I was supposed to I produce the PK booster beginning of this week and couldn't with the run off being so high, well that's what I'm hoping anyways 😂. Plant A doesn't seem to be swelling like the rest (front left in pictures) I'm hoping this is down to genetics if anyone else has any thought I'd love to hear them. Thanks for dropping in and reading, Happy Growing! 👊👍

As December is near the growth is slower than would like but is still thriving with more stretching happening for the side branches and the mini side branches start to stretch as well one side branch I recently topped is recovering at a decent rate hoping for some start of preflowering signs within the week or 2

Day 11: Watered each plant with 0.1l with nuts 465 ppm, 987 us/cm, 0.9 EC Lights at 35% The strawberry banana seedlings was very late in coming out of the ground, I had to give the helmet a hand to get it out, through 2 or 3 drops of water. One of the seeds is not good, it grew poorly, I put a Gorilla Cookies to replace it, also from fadtbuds. Let's see how it goes Day 12: The strawberry bananas are recovering well, one of the seeds is starting to get normal leafs, sounds perfect Day 13: Watered each plant with 0.25L with nuts 480 ppm, 1027 us/cm, 1 EC Lights at 50% Day 16: Watered each plant with 0.3L with nuts 668 ppm, 1423 us/cm, 1.4 EC Performed foliar callmag while the lights were off

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track! 🙏 To those Growmies I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. Happy Growing! 🤙💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚🤙

Started flush. Mostly white trichs with small amount of amber. Will harvest on Wednesday and hang them up in an open tent. Will wet trim the big leaves and let dry for 7 days then cure for three weeks. If I learned anything from this grow is to defoliate the lower buds more. My canopy was great but I had a lot unusable immature bud. This is my third grow using my A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber and it was the best. Hoping to get about 5 ounces worth of dried bud.

08/09/2020/ start of week 3 flowering, I think I'm seeing P deficiency? Watered her with LAB to see if it helps going to put a couple spikes of 4-9-3 around the outer rim, and water in with more LAB to get the microbial army mobilized.🙏

Hello Growmies, Week four of vegetation for our Epic Buzz by Anesia has been marked by remarkable progress and environmental optimization. The uniform growth has continued, with each plant reaching a robust 20 cm in their spacious 12.5-liter air-pots, signaling a very successful vegetative phase. The integration of the heater and humidifier into the tent's system has been a game-changer, allowing for precise control of the growing conditions. The environmental graphs are showing admirable consistency in temperature and humidity, which is key to maintaining an ideal VPD level for the plants, ensuring optimal transpiration and nutrient uptake. The Photone app indicates that the light intensity is within the ideal range for this stage, with readings of 150-180 PPFD. The lights, dialed down to 25%, along with the strategic use of IR lighting for 30 minutes at the transitions of the day, support the natural growth cycles of the plants. Concurrently, the UV lighting's midday cameo for 30 minutes is a masterful touch, potentially enhancing plant resilience and future resin production. Once the connectivity issues are ironed out, the Mars Hydro inline fan will be operational, enhancing nighttime dehumidification, a critical aspect of maintaining plant health by preventing excess moisture and the issues it can bring. This will round out the environmental controls, making them as meticulous during the night as they are throughout the day. The Epic Buzz plants are set to continue their vegetative journey in an almost perfectly controlled environment, thanks to the thoughtful and precise adjustments made around the garden. The upcoming week is poised to be another step forward in a vegetative phase that's been characterized by attentive care and environmental mastery. Stay lifted, salokin.

Start of week 3, the three survivors are doing great! I did happen to find some algae growing on top of one of the rockwool cubes. (This was my fault for not fully covering the tops of them with hydroton to block out light.) As an attempted fix, I cut some square pieces of black cloth that I laid of the top of the cubes to block out the light completely. Hoping removing their light source, the algae will die off and discourage any further growth. If it gets any worse I’ll try using a hydrogen peroxide solution. Day 17, the three ladies are looking nice. Starting to see some nice healthy roots populate inside the buckets. I went ahead and upped their nutrients today. We will see how they are doing in the morning. -FloraFlex - 1.5g/gal of each V1 and V2. -Advanced Nutrients - 1/2 strength MGB and hobbyist additives. **Algae update: seems like using the black cloth to block out all the light has killed off that algae growth and I don’t see anymore so it’s working!** Day 18, I thought one of my plants had root rot. Which was weird for it to happen that fast in less than 24 hours since changing the res. Come to find out it’s just nutrient stain from the Advanced Nutrients, so thank god. #1 and #2 which are growing with FloraFlex got FIMmed today. I’ve topped plants before but never FIM. Not sure if I did it right, but that’s the fun in all this, is experimenting to see what works. Day 20, #1 and #2 are responding well after being FIMmed couple days ago. I decided to FIM #3 as well. I also decided to leave the 4th one out of this diary from here on out since she’s behind. We will stick with the original three that survived from the start. So far I’m really loving their bushy appearance and thick leaves. Their roots are coming out super nice as well! Pretty soon these babies are going to just take off!

-Seeds were germinated directly in soil 2cm deep with 60ml of pH'd mineral water and covered with cling wrap for humidity. -Lights cycle: 18/6 - Seeds popped after 3-4 days, 100% germination -Cling wrap removed after germination -Day 1 of grow is 8/10/2020 -Day 1-4 seedlings were feed pH'd mineral water -Seedlings received their first nutrient feeding on day 5 -Nutrient water pH'd at 6.3 and oxygenated with air pump + air stone -Mycoroot was fed via top dressing Struggled to get the pH with in range, I had to mess around with pH up and down to get it in the range of 6.3. The growth looks good so far just a bit worried up about the colour of the leaves. Temp varied from 26C-28C and humidity ranged between 42-52%. I had to play around with the oscillating fan speeds and positioning as well as the amount of air inlet vents. I found that just having one opened helped get the humidity up and the temp had only a slight increase. I let the oscillating fan run on its lowest setting and put off its rotating function, I also made sure the fan was not directly hitting the plants which assisted with the humidity micro-climate. The distance of the HPS was at 90cm from top of plants after the popped out of the soil, this was readjusted to 60cm once true leaves were showing. They got the first nutrient feed on day 5.

Everything is moving along beautifully! 🌱 Sticky plants, packed with trichomes, and the smells are starting to burst out! 😍💨 RS11 — OMG, the phenos each have slightly different aromas! The fast pheno… if I had more space, that one would be a keeper for sure 💎🔥 Production? ✅ Smell? ✅ Size and resistance? ✅ Totally problem-free — a beast of a plant! 💪🌿 Definitely planning to do some phenohunting in the future! Now, about the smells… one pheno smells like a fruit salad, another like rose water, also one of then a unique nostalgic smell wotxh i can not really tell what is it🍓🌸🍹 — wow, just wow! Monkey Grease — Such a unique smell! Still can’t describe it fully, but on one of the plants I clearly get that gasoline note ⛽️😳 I rubbed my fingers after touching a bud, and it was like a drop of real gas on my hand — my first true gas strain experience, and it’s fascinating! 🔥 Apples and Bananas — Both are doing great, really beautiful plants 🍎🍌💚 Amnesi-K Lemon — One of them is a bit behind the others 🍋⌛️ It might be the last one to finish this grow — maybe even a bit early harvest if the timing gets tight, but hopefully it will catch up in time! 🙏🌿 Cherry Dreams — Finally filling up nicely! 🍒✨ Starting to catch up with the rest, and thankfully it recovered fast after the earlier issues. --- What a ride this grow has been so far! 🌿💫 Sticky, frosty, and full of character — can’t wait to see how they’ll finish! ✂️🔥!

Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate. Detail and Clarity: DSLR and mirrorless cameras capture a higher dynamic range and more intricate details, elevating the visual storytelling. Shoutouts & Gratitude: A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of this journey: Terpyz Mutant Genetics for these one-of-a-kind seeds. Aptus Holland for their amazing nutrient solutions. Pro-Mix for the reliable soil mix. Future of Grow for the incredible LED lighting that keeps these mutants thriving. TrolMaster for helping maintain a stable environment. Grow Diaries for giving growers like us a platform to share and learn. The Community (haters, lovers, and everyone in between) for your support and interaction—it’s what makes this so rewarding. Finally, a shoutout to my Instagram and YouTube family! Be sure to follow along for more updates, behind-the-scenes content, and educational tidbits. Let’s keep growing and learning together. Final Note: These girls may be taking their time, but their beauty, uniqueness, and resilience make every moment worthwhile. Here’s to another week of growth, learning, and connection.
