Well week 3 went by pretty good! I flushed my soil twice because i was starting to see what looked like nutrient burn and since flushing twice it seems to have amended the soil and issue. I waited until the soil was fairly dry and watered yesterday with a new set of nutrients and will be keeping it on a schedule of feeding nutes once a week until i know it can handle more and im not burning it again. I bought stuff to help me LST the branches and during doing so bent one too far and it started tearing off. I put some support under it to hold it in place and now im just hoping and praying it heals up and can resume growth instead of me having to get rid of the whole thing. We will see but im excited either way!

She looks extremely healthy and happy let's see how she performs at the end,she's 100% organic grown without any chemicals from bottles. Starting to show the first pistils on August 24th

Well still on auto pilot for the most part. Giving her a daily feeding till run off of the nutes my other girls are using. Other than that I'm just checking on her daily. The main cola is big, fat and pretty dense. Not the hardest but everything considering I'm really happy. It's about the look anyway when it comes to cannabonsi plants. Finished the roll of butt wipe so that looks pretty cool. Hope to harvest next weekend but we will see. Thanks for following this has been a fun grow.

Great week. I went back to 24hrs of light to keep the environment steady, because I put a few babies in there. She stretched about 10 inches and has a lot of bud sites. Pretty satisfied with the new nutes all my ladies seem to be soaking it up.

now that the plant has fully recovered it is growing nicely, i will leave it for min. 2 more weeks before I flip to flower. I have decreased light intensity to encourage some stretch.

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

7/1/23 - Day 19 I do water changes weekly. The new weeks start off with a water change. Water changes always scare me, it's the mixing of nutes and balancing the PH. It sounds easy in theory but in practice you want to interfere with the PH asap. But I was able to let the LEAF box empty the water, I filled it up with RO water, LEAF then dosed all my nutes. After that i came in a PH balanced it. (PH balance is something LEAF will be able to do, but there was a bug in the software so instead of having LEAF dose the PH i decided to do it manually for now. The Roots are INSANE! I bet by time I'm done there will be 1+ gallons of water displaced by the roots. I almost started cutting her lower leaves at the base, but I decided to let them grow for a bit. If they grow out some more i will be able to scrogg them and then cut the leaves below after they are trained up a bit. The lights have kicked on and everything looks in order. The plant looks great too, she might be in a small amount of WTF because of all the PH changes but i think the drastic changes were kept to a minimum. She looks happy. As always ill update you tomorrow. 7/3/23 - Day 21- I trimmed some of the lower leaves on the bottom, I'm leaving her bushy still, I won't want to cut any more branches if I can, I need the branches from the bottom to reach the sides of the Scrogg net. In the next couple of days being apple to Scrogg and stretch her while Shes still moldable. 7/5/23 - Day 23 - I added some training lines to some of the branches. I need them to be as spread out as possible going into the Scrogg net. I'm a big fan of not trimming too much as she grows. I don't mind there being some foliage down below. I will cut as needed if it looks like the lower areas are sprouting too much of the little leaves, but for the most part, I let nature do its thing. She's drinking a ton of water now. I am getting my RO water dropped off by the five gal loads. I just got the membrane for my RO150 unit that I plan on having up and running within a couple of weeks so I can start making my own water. 7/6/23 - Day 24 - I added a picture of my RO water setup. It cannot be set up permanently, so this was a great solution. You can see how I was able to tie my branches down, next time I will drill a few holes on the side of the pot. This is a great solution for anyone looking to Scrogg and manage the vertical height. Also, you can see on the top branch there was some pulling, so much so that it started to pull the plant and it created a small lump. All good but just goes to show how pliable these plants are. So around April 20th I decided to go all in and purchased the following: grow tent, Vivosun 600W led light, Vivosun air filtration kit, a timer, thermometer/ hygrometer combo, 2 fans and the General Hydroponics flora grow trio. This is just from stuff that I've seen on YouTube, mainly on the "from seed to stoned" channel. Dude seems to be doing a decent job and I initially gathered info from him. At first just the light came so I installed that, put one of those reflective sunshades for your windshield as a light reflector and used my humidifier. That was that. Can't remember the dosage of nutrients per plant really, but it was probably around 1 ml of micro and 1 ml of grow per gallon. Didn't feed em that amount of water, just a bit. Decided that Gaia was to be moved in a 5 gallon bucket, just to see how it would perform being moved straight into its final pot. I did some research and bought Fox Farms Happy Frog soil so that was that. The other seedlings were moved into solo cups with the same soil. At this point I got excited about the prospect of my first grow. I was never really interested in growing but sometimes if I put something in my mind then I'll dedicate myself as much as possible.
