The defoliation process involved removing larger fan leaves, allowing the lower branches to receive their fair share of light. In addition to defoliation, a meticulous bottom cleaning ritual took place. Removing the lower, less productive growth not only redirects energy to more crucial upper buds but also eliminates potential sites for moisture retention and pest harborage. This step is crucial in maintaining a healthy, well-ventilated environment as we approach the final weeks of flowering. The defoliation and bottom cleaning were conducted with surgical precision. Alright, I moved her into Homebox Q60+ now and provided some professional light Q3W from Sanlight with 120W full spectrum range. This setup is much better for the plant compared to my setup in 1st week. Now it is also much easier for me to keep stable humidity and temperature. Day 9 - Looks like she recovers from stress I gave her in 1st week. Stem looks quite thin to me - but since I have no experience I can't be sure if it is abnormal for this age or not.

Alcapulco Gold plants (3) are between 12”-14” and still receiving only pH balanced H2O. The other 2 strains are receiving nutrients listed above.

Calcium deficiency is rearing its head, it's only minor so shouldn't really be a problem.

Overall I enjoyed this grow and learned a lot about living soil. Going for a slow dry, trim, then at least a one month cure. Hopefully another six days and I’ll update with a dry yield. My next batch is already cooking but with 5 gallon pots. 03/25 - Day 7 Drying B & C are done drying and have been in jars for a day now with RH ~60%. Total 3oz from B & C. Total 1.5oz from A & D

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/2- Eight weeks since breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is really starting to get going now despite our extremely hot and humid weather. The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. 7/4- 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and beautiful lady! She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. Well folks, Week Eight is a wrap and the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is going strong! See ya next week! Que pasa familia, vamos con la cuarta semana de floración de estas FBA2506 de FastBuds. De las 5 plantas, retiré una y me quede con 4 , preselección. La tierra que utilizamos que está en la publicación anterior es top crop all mix, Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 48 horas e intentando mantener la humedad en torno al 50 %. Las flores ya están progresando y están cogiendo las 4 un tono morado bastante curioso. Un ejemplar sigue un poco sobrefertilizado, es la única con la que me corto para alimentar. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo florecen y avanzan. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

5th April 1st day off week 5 flower The girls are swelling up there already a nice size and they still got 4 weeks left... Loved this grow from day 1 My royal gorilla and blue gelato 41 have just smashed it there massive.. Blue gelato 41 might be done earlier but she's still got loss off white hairs so I know she's still got a bit off growing to do 🇬🇧grower blueboy 6th April my girls not long woke up just pulled few yellow feafs of her.. Only 1 feels a little lite so gonna leave them another day and feed all the girls together... 1 out of 2 blue gelato 41 looks like she wants to push ahead off all the rest but I'm just gonna wait and see because she still has loads off white hairs... When I harvest theses girls ill be doing it one at a time very detailed harvest so keep an eye out guys 7th April I've uploaded a video of my girls day 3 in week 5 off flower what you guys think...

Throughout the past week she amazed me. I didn't think she was strong. but because it might torture her it will make her stressed . 😔

Had a great run with this grow. I learned ALOT about DWC, growing and myself. I think it would have been infinetly more successful if I would have just stuck to the feeding chart, and stopped "fixing things till they broke", but a great learning lesson and I am excited for my next grow.

Hello. This is the end of week 10 of flowering... and it's harvest time. Just shot some quick video's to show what they look like after flushing. Should take around 4 or 5 days to harvest all 13 plants. With the weighing of the raw branches before wet trimming them and writing down the weight, And the taking of the photo's, making them look good, it takes a little longer to harvest doing a diary. Day 70 — Cruising right along with the grow. Can’t say enough about the Sensi Bloom. I will definitely be using it for the next grow. Both Veg and Bloom. Buds are really filling on the short LB. Getting fat and sticky. Smell is really nice as well. Remind me of the pot from the 70’s. I’m starting to stress a bit about when to harvest. I don’t have a magnifying glass strong enough to see the trichromes. Is there another telltale sign the plant is ready? I’m starting to see the red hairs so is that an indication flowering is winding down? I still think I have a couple weeks, but will be watching them closely. Thanks for reading.
