finally the plants went into bloom. they are suffering a bit from the heat because the outside temperature is very high here. we hope to be able to reach the end of the cycle without problems.

-5/28/23 Start of Week --Week 10/Flower 4 -5/31/23 (Day 74/flower 25) --Observations: temperature is rising during the day and the night isn't dropping as low as I would like. Already starting to get clustered again. --Comments: seems to be okay with the increasing heat, don't see any problems yet and hopefully wont. shade leaves are starting to push their way into the middle area again, will try not to remove unless the become a problem. -6/3/23 (Day 77/Flower 28) --Observations: shade leaves still pushing their way into center, buds still growing and starting to form calxes. --Changes: will no longer be spraying after today, will also start giving more water --Comments: today is the last day for spraying this plant, watering will be increased to compensate. may have to remove some of the shade leaves pushing into the center area next week, will be extremely selective if I have to remove anything from this point on. lemon basil is starting to tower over the cannabis, will be removing some to give space between them. -6/3/23 End of Week

This plant has been full of surprises this week lol. First I found spider mites! Then I found a little powdery mildew 🤬🤬 Well.... now that the bad news is out of the way how about some good news. She is starting to really fatten up. The smell of this girl is fantastic😎 It really smells better by the day!! 🤪 She has been yellowing out a bit quickly as of late so I may need to add a bit more feather meal and kelp meal to her top dressing routine. I may also add some cal-mag to a watering here and there as needed. I have some predatory mites and ladybugs coming soon so the spider mites time is running out🤨. As for the powdery mildew, I will have to spray her every 3-4 days with greencure to keep it from invading my precious flowers. Greencure is an outdoor farmers best bud!! (Pun intended). I’ve been in this battle before. It comes with the territory when growing in a greenhouse outdoors. Sit back and enjoy y’all. I’ll get this lady to the finish line. 😎🍿

Happy New Year!!! Over the past week I did some HST bending on my photos and cut down 2 of the 3 Blackberry’s. The branches are starting to recover and straighten out after the HST now. I still have some issues with pale leaves and a few spots here and there. I’m going to try adding some Dolomite Lime with the next watering and think that should help with the paleness. I’m also going to up the amount of CalMag and Mammoth P to see if that helps with the spotting. I’m not sure if I should see the spotted leaves recover or if the spots will remain. I suspect the spots will remain on the existing leaves regardless of what I do at this point, but hopefully no new spotting will develop. The lights went off before I was done taking pics, so some pics will look a little different. The pics with the lights on I had to color correct, they still look a little more on the yellow side than in reality, but much closer to reality than the pre-color corrected versions. Once the lights went off I turned the flash on for my camera, those pics did not need any color correction. You can see the differences in the pics of all plants, the first 2 are color corrected with the lights on, the last 2 are taken with a flash and no color correction. Also all close up pics of the Critical+ are with the lights off and flash on. I read several books on cannabis over the past few days, some good, some not so much. One that I liked was “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear. This book is available on Amzon’s Kindle Unlimited service, which costs $9.99/month, but they offer a free 30 day trial (which is what I’m using at the moment). Reed’s book is broken down into 3 sections, the first and third go fairly deep into the science behind growing, he does a pretty good job at breaking it down in easy to understand terms, but I had to read several sections 2 or 3 times to really get it (or just move on with as much understanding as I could digest). The second section is the nuts and bolts of growing. Most was a review but there were several topics he touched on I hadn’t thought of in a while. And again its well written. He also offers the section only in a separate book called “Small Spaces, Big Yields”. If you are not interested in going deeper into the science behind growing, “Small Spaces, Big Yields” is what I would recommend (if interested in reading books on cannabis). I took some notes while reading and I’m going to add some of these notes in my dairy updates over the next few weeks. This week I’m going to include a note on electrical, this should be a fairly basic concept, but it is super important IMO… “Electrical Items In a sealed grow room or in a tent, you will have water pooling on the floor from time to time. There is no avoiding this. Mop it up when you see it, and never put your electrical gear directly on the floor. Never. Not even for a moment. In fact, let me stress this point in bold capital letters. ALL ELECTRICAL GEAR MUST BE MOUNTED SECURELY ON A WALL OR TENT POLE.” -Read Spear I’ll add more did bits like this in my diaries over the upcoming weeks. If anyone has any good book recommendations please let me know in the comments. I’m looking for books that might not be as popular as the ones by Jorge Cervantes or Ed Rosenthal (I’ve read those). I did just order “True Living Organics” by The Rev which I’m looking forward to reading. But I’m looking for more. I really want to step it up and learn as much as possible. Added white foil in the back of the greenhouse to allow for some more light in the back. She reacted to this fairly quickly by rotating her leaves more upward rather than to one side. I also raised the camera more and adjusted the position of the pot for it to be more centered.

Coming on well. Turing into monsters... I need a bigger light. Day 45 got second dose of bio pk 5-8. I have a bad feeling i will have to do 3 separate harvest days hahaha

Midway through week 3 and things have taken off since I transplanted this past weekend! Still no nutrients added. Drilled holes in the sides...can't wait to tie them down. Side branching will do much better in the near future Sunday Feb. 10th update -It has been one week since I transplanted -plants have been tied down -trying to manipulate leaves so side branching gets light exposure -SECOND light is coming tomorrow -very difficult to get enough light on all 4 with 1 light -By the end of this week I plan on transplanting into Final Pots and prepare clones -Watch how crazy week 4 gets!

Week 7 - 08/11 - Topped most of the plant so far - LST tied down all main colas - Had an issue with the PH - has since been neutralized - clean water feeds for the next 2 weeks - prepping for transplant into 7 gallon pot.

D57 Ninth week humidity problems, I added a fan in total 3, added an additional extractor that introduces fresh air, I constantly keep the growbox open, so the risk of mold seems to have been avoided. stop PK 13 14 and big bud, now only biobizz for my fat.

I deliberately sent my 2 ladies into flower 2 months earlier. roughly the 12/12h rule. Sometimes it was 10 hours in the sun, but sometimes 12 hours. In my region it will soon be rainy and cold. I'm toying with the idea of harvesting them before I catch mold or something else. The trichomes are all milky. About 15-20% amber colored.

Hi! This is my first attempt at growing. I've had house plants for years and have cruised the reddit forums. Fingers crossed my green thumb stays consistent. I ended up germinating two ways with these Auto Shark seeds bred by Pyramid Seeds bought from Seedsman. One using the paper towel method and the other using a jiffy pod in a to-go container. To my surprise the impromptu jiffy pod sprouted in two days, whereas the PT method was a dud. The attached photos were taken today (day 6) since sprouting and transferring directly into a 3 gal fabric pot. I fed her two days ago and the soil is still running moist. I'm using a combo of Happy frog with extra perlite with organic earthworm castings. The flowering time for this seed claims six weeks so I'm curious to seed how this goes. I won an Emerald Harvest nutrient kit so I was planning to give her a third of the recommended dosage from their manual on the third watering. (Only watered once so far.) Humidity has jumped between 50 -80% over the course of the first week. I'm still getting used to my the spacebucket I've been constructing over the past few weeks. Which materials are as follows: -Growstar UFO LED 150W -LEDMO 5630 LED Strip, Daylight -120mm USB Fan (Outtake) -120mm High Speed Muffin Fan (Intake)(Had to buy fan controller for it cuz it was so loud/strong) -NAVADEAL Silver Reflective Mylar Film -(5) 5 gallon home depot buckets I bought a soil ph reader but I think its busted. I've bought a few gallons of grocery store water until I can get a ph reader and am just crossing my fingers the plant will be okay.

Super solid canopy between these 2 ladies. Nice sea of colas brewing up. No vertical growth really to speak of. Just some flower mass. Very happy and healthy and looking very vibrant. Looking sexy in the garden lol. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
